Even though the Eagles had a comfy, three-score lead going into Super Bowl halftime, they were too locked in to check out Kendrick Lamar's show ... with star rookie Jalyx Hunt telling TMZ Sports his team missed out on experiencing the festivities firsthand.

The Super Bowl champs went into the locker room with a 24-0 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday ... and while the game was damn near over by that point, Hunt tells us they remained laser-focused during the intermission.

It's pretty standard for players to lose out on witnessing the show -- there's a championship on the line, after all -- but Hunt's comments make it clear that doesn't change even amid a good ol' fashioned ass-kicking.

Prince Amukamara -- one of Eli Manning's former teammates -- is going to bat for the ex-New York Giants star ... ripping Hall of Fame voters for not allowing the QB into Canton this year.

Amukamara -- who played with Eli from 2011 through 2015 -- told TMZ Sports out at Super Bowl week in New Orleans that Manning got screwed when the Pro Football Hall of Fame didn't include the signal-caller in the 2025 class that was announced on Feb. 6.

"Snub, dude," the former cornerback said emphatically. "Come on, man!"

Aaron Rodgers is likely moving to a new city this offseason, but one Steeler is hoping it's NOT Pittsburgh ... with safety DeShon Elliott taking to social media to say he'd rather see the superstar quarterback retire than be his new teammate.

Elliott -- a sixth-year safety for the Black and Gold -- was spotted in the comment section of an aggregator account on Instagram ... which stated Steel City was a potential landing spot for the four-time MVP.

Elliott wasn't thrilled with the idea of bringing Rodgers on board ... saying, "Leave his ass at the retirement home."
