Abby Lee Miller Indicted For Bankruptcy Fraud

Published | Updated

"Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller is doing the tango with the feds now for allegedly committing bankruptcy fraud.

According to a federal indictment, Miller hid around $750k of income from creditors after filing for bankruptcy in 2010. Abby made the money from "Dance Moms" and other TV appearances.

The indictment, which includes 20 counts related to the alleged scheme, also says Abby lied on monthly financial reports for her dance studio and did NOT report some of her income.

TMZ broke the story ... Miller climbed out of bankruptcy just last year, but if the feds' homework is correct ... she was cheating the system all along.

We've reached out to Abby for comment, but no word back yet.

Trey Songz IRS Says He Went 'Bottoms Up' On Taxes

Published | Updated

Trey Songz skipped out on a major tab with Uncle Sam for about $750k ... according to the IRS which, as it always does, has come calling for the dough.

Trey got hit with the federal tax lien last month in Miami -- letting him know he owes $748,870.08 on his income from 2013. That happens to be the same year he plunked down $35,000 a month to live in a Hollywood Hills mansion. Priorities?

Unclear how or why Trey fell short ... we've got a call into his rep, but no word back yet.

It ain't chump change, but we're guessing another hit song and world tour can fix it all real quick.

Giada De Laurentiis My Post Divorce Pad Is Swingin'

Published | Updated

Giada De Laurentiis isn't crying after losing her home in her nasty divorce because she's purchasing a new pad that's bigger, better ... and just around the corner.

We're told De Laurentiis is ready to dish out $6 million on a 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath, 1920s Spanish-style estate in the Riviera area of Pacific Palisades.

The home has a bit of history ... it once belonged to swing legend Benny Goodman, and the guest house is even set up like a music studio.

No surprise ... the open kitchen's got all top-of-the-line appliances, so there won't be anything stopping Giada from cooking all the salty-sweet apple hand pies and chicken cacciatore she likes.

As we previously reported, Giada's ex-husband got to keep their old pad in the divorce ... but it was chump change in comparison.

Nothing like starting with a clean plate.

Carly Fiorina First Class Bank Account ... Still Flying Coach

Published | Updated

Carly Fiorina's running her presidential campaign on peanuts -- at least in the air, where the $59 million woman is flying low-cost airlines.

We got this shot of Fiorina sitting at LAX -- not in a first class lounge, but just hanging with the general electorate in the terminal, waiting to board a Southwest flight, aka ... NO FIRST CLASS!!

Fiorina was on her way to Oakland for business meetings, according to her press secretary.

Our sources at LAX tell us she was in the first boarding group -- A22, to be specific -- so at least she probably nabbed an overhead bin for her carry-on.

[Ding] Carly is now free to campaign about the country.

Published | Updated

"CSI" star Jon Wellner's estranged wife is desperate for money, claiming he's completely cut her off from their cash and credit cards ... leaving her with only $70 to her name.

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ ... Whitney Wellner is asking for emergency spousal support because she can't make ends meet after losing her job at a dog rescue ... where she made $11 an hour.

Whitney says Jon makes a fortune -- nearly $114k per year in acting residuals alone -- and she wants a piece. Worth noting, Wellner appeared on 126 episodes of "CSI" over 10 years.

But Jon says Whitney's way off base, because he took a "huge loss of income" when "CSI" went off the air. He says he's now only working on random projects.

TMZ broke the story ... Jon wanted Whitney to get a "real" job at the time of their divorce -- saying she was a lousy actress.

ABC Family Star Blasted by Ex-Manager ... We Made You Then You Screwed Us

Published | Updated

Emeraude Toubia is getting her big break in the TV show "Shadowhunters" -- and along with it a lawsuit from her ex-manager ... who says Toubia got a taste for Hollywood then ditched in a flash.

Palomera Productions claims in legal docs it inked an exclusive agreement to manage Toubia in 2014, which paid it 20% of her earnings. Palomera says it booked Toubia for tons of acting gigs and helped make her a huge Latina star.

Palomera says in 2015 Toubia announced she was moving to LA to get an education, but instead signed with a new rep ... and landed the "Shadowhunters" gig. Palomera found out about that in a press release.

PP says when it reminded Toubia of their exclusive agreement she claimed the signature on the deal wasn't hers. Palomera is suing for 20% of everything she's made since leaving.

In other words ... give us some of that "Shadowhunters" cash.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Dragging Feet in Divorce with Maria

Published | Updated

Arnold Schwarzenegger is dragging his feet in his divorce with Maria Shriver, sources close to the couple tell TMZ, and the question is 'why?'.

Maria filed for divorce in July 2011 -- more than 4 YEARS ago. We're told the financial settlement was worked out a long time ago, and all that remains is a sign off. As we reported, there is no prenup, so they're splitting up roughly $400 million.

Our sources say there are no remaining issues, except a simple sign off, but that hasn't happened. As one source put it, "Whenever Maria says she wants to move on with her life, Arnold drags his feet."

Another source says it's not like either needs the divorce for financial reason ... they both have access to more than enough to pay the rent.

The divorce is there for the taking, if Arnold just puts pen to paper.

RHCP's John Frusciante I'm Done Paying For My Ex's Crappy Music Career

Published | Updated

Red Hot Chilli Pepper's ex-guitarist John Frusciante is making it loud and clear ... his estranged wife, Nicole, is a struggling musician and he's done footing the bill for her to pursue her dreams.

According to new legal docs filed in their divorce ... John says Nicole's request for $75k/month in spousal support is crazy, especially because $21k of that is just to rent a music studio.

The best part -- John says, "I don't know if you can call her recording efforts a hobby or a past-time ... but it seems improper to characterize Nicole as a professional musician."

Beyond her music habit ... Nicole also wants more than $2,600/month for gifts and expenses for her "adult" brother -- which John finds ridiculous.

Stevie Wonder Lawsuit You're Blind ... But You're Not Deaf!

Stevie Wonder knew full well what he was doing when he signed an agreement to pay his attorney's widow 6% of his royalties because it was read out loud to him ... according to the widow.

As we've reported ... way back in the day Stevie signed off on the deal with Johanan Vigoda -- but Stevie thinks the wool was pulled over his eyes, and he's filed a lawsuit over it.

Now, Vigoda's widow ... Susan Strack is calling BS on Stevie. She says Vigoda had a witness read the entire contract to Stevie -- including the part where she would continue to get her husband's 6% fee, even after he died.

In her legal docs, Strack acknowledges Stevie came back years later and contested the contract, but never got it done before Vigoda died. Her point is ... even though Stevie doesn't like it, the contract is still binding.

Translation: Go kick rocks. And pay me while you're doing it.

Beyonce & Jay Z Check Out Our New $45 Million Palace

Our sources say Bey and Jay are now renting the $45 million Holmby Hills palace that was owned by ex-L.A. Dodgers owner Frank McCourt.

McCourt sold the house to a British billionaire last year for $45 million, but we're told the new owner was hardly in L.A. and it just sat vacant. So he recently decided to put it on the market for lease ... we're told for around $150k a month.

Our sources -- all of whom are people who were on hand this past weekend facilitating the move -- say Beyonce and Jay signed a 1-year lease.

As for the house ... it's 20,000 square feet, complete with an indoor Olympic-sized pool complex and an outdoor pool with a waterfall and formal gardens.

As we previously reported, Bey Z got the boot from their old rental in the same neighborhood after the owner decided to sell it.

We broke the story ... Jay Z and Beyonce are putting down stakes in L.A., largely because they think it's a good place to raise Blue Ivy.
