Robin Williams -- Sadly, a $1 Mil Man
Attention Hollywood -- You can get Robin Williams to star in your movie, for cheap!
TMZ has learned the funnyman was paid only $1 million for his starring role in "Man of the Year." The movie, which ranked third in box office this weekend, earned $12.6 million.
Check out this contrast -- Williams reportedly raked a cool $20 mil for "Bicentennial Man," released in 1999.
Williams won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for "Good Will Hunting" in 1997, which could explain the ginormous paycheck for "Bicentennial." But a string of clunkers, including "One Hour Photo" and "Death to Smoochy" hurt Williams' status as an opener.
As for "Man of the Year," industry insiders tell TMZ the $12.6 million weekend take is respectable. So it looks like Robin may not have to take that trip to Target anytime soon.
Friday the 13th Part 12: Jason Takes LA
Jason Vorhees took a vacation from Camp Crystal Lake and made a special visit to Los Angeles.
The hockey-masked psycho and horror icons Freddy Krueger, Carrie, Frankenstein, Morticia Addams and the Ghostface killer from "Scream" all gathered to celebrate the DVD release of "The Omen" with a birthday party -- complete with a black carpet -- for the spawn of Satan, Damien.
Special guest Ghostface told a reporter, "We're here to celebrate Damien's birthday party, his last one was ruined by the death of his nanny" while Morticia made cracks like "Damien used to play with Pugsley all the time ... Gomez and I used to think Damien was such a little devil."
So who cut the cake at the gathering of horror idols? Why Leatherface of course, who came to the party chainsaw in hand.
Of course there's one minor problem with the celebration ... Damien's birthday is 6.6.06 (get it?) and not Friday the 13th.

"Dallas" Cast Changes, Lucy Ewing Stays the Same
After reports today that cast of the forthcoming "Dallas" big screen adaptation was being completely overhauled, it appears at least one cast member -- besides star John Travolta -- has been spared.
TMZ spoke to Katie Cassidy today and she told us that she is still set to play Lucy Ewing whenever filming starts. Cassidy, who is currently filming the remake of "Revenge of the Nerds" with Kristin Cavallari, is the daughter of "Partridge Family" star David Cassidy.
According to today's Variety, Luke Wilson and Shirley MacLaine are now off the project. When Jennifer Lopez left the flick a few months back, Meg Ryan was in talks to replace her -- but those talks have now broken off.
Travolta is still locked in to play Ewing family patriarch J.R. after focus research said his character was the only one audiences cared about. Even the film's director, Gurinder Chadha might drop out -- and she's the second director the film has had!

Borat Finds His Match ... at Dutch Gay Bar?
The lovable Borat may have finally found "the one," though he might want to check a bit closer for an Adam's apple.
While stopping in Amsterdam on his world tour to promote his new film, "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan," the bumbling reporter bragged about recently picking up a hot date at a local gay bar, telling Dutch press, "This woman reminded me of Kazakhi woman; she was more tall than me, with hair on arms, and some hair on face and deep voice."
Borat immersed himself in the local culture as well, sporting a lovely frilly white hat, cheese wheel and the Dutch flag for a photo op. Afterwards, he donned his now infamous green bathing suit while posing with local prostitutes in the Red Light district.

Tara Reid Goes Direct-to-Download
Though Tara Reid can be a train wreck, she's trying to get back on track by bringing out her inner scream queen.
Starting this Halloween, interested viewers will be able to watch Tara run for her life in the horror flick "Incubus," which will be available for purchase on AOL RED, AOL's new teen-oriented venture.
Shelling out only $7.99 will score you a permanent copy of the movie, $3.59 for a 5-day-rental. While the film will eventually be released on DVD, it will be impossible to burn the downloaded copy to disc.
The movie finds Reid facing off with the spirit of a murderer who kills people in their sleep, which is pretty familiar territory for a girl who has run from plenty of of serial killers ("Urban Legend") and monsters ("Alone in the Dark") in the past. Seeing as she's the heroine of "Incubus" though, she probably won't meet a grisly demise ... our apologies.
While the film sounds a bit Nightmare on Elm Street-ish to us, the niche-marketing could give it a chance to explode into the one mega-hit Reid needs to get off the "denied from Hyde" list. Of course, with her antics, she'll be needing more than one success to do that.

Cowboy Getup is a Drag for Bobcat
Actor/comedian/director Bobcat Goldthwait showed up to the premiere of his movie "Sleeping Dogs Lie" on Wednesday looking like a cross-dressing Brokeback cowboy.
Part western wear and part punk school girl chic, Goldthwait sported a cowboy hat along with a plaid skirt and orange Converse combo which appears to have come straight out of Avril Lavigne's closet.
We're not sure how often Bobcat dons women's skirts, but at least it looks like he had the decency to shave his legs. And for that we're thankful.

Get Your TomM:I Gun
Tired of trying to re-enact your favorite "Mission Impossible" moment with your boring imagination? Why not take on bad guys with a reel deal (pun intended) weapon from the set of the movie?
Turns out one of the rubber stunt guns used by Tom Cruise during filming of "Mission Impossible 2" is now up for auction on eBay. According to the seller, the rubber Beretta 92FS Brigadier was the very hand cannon waved around by Tom Cruise throughout the production, when he wasn't firing a live gun of course. Which begs the question -- Why was Tom firing a live gun on the set?
But, if pretend violence isn't exactly your cup of tea, maybe some original doodle art by Mr. Cruise and his ex-wife Mimi Rogers would tickle your fancy. An eBay seller claims the "art" was originally drawn for charity and includes signatures from both Tom and Mimi. We have no idea what the crazy design is supposed to represent, but it really doesn't matter. Just think about how cool Rosie O'Donnell will think you are when it's hanging on your wall.

Wearing John Malkovich
John Malkovich is a much-revered actor, but did you know he also designs clothes?
While everyone from J.Lo to Jaclyn Smith have fashion lines, many are not aware the Oscar winner started a clothing company called Mrs. Mudd in 2003 and now designs a menswear collection entitled Uncle Kimono.
Uncle Kimono features sweaters, hats, ties, t-shirts and even made to order suits.
Malkovich's creations are inspired by characters he's played in movies, political figures, Beatles songs and even Martha Stewart!
John designed a "Free Martha" chocolate brown boiled wool coat that retails for $1665. Malkovich created what he said was "an elegant coat to wear in front of the courthouse during the Martha Stewart trial." Now that's a 'good thing!'
Celeb fans of Uncle Kimono include Johnny Depp and Javier Bardem.
A portion of sales from Malkovich's clothing line benefits the performing arts and a selected group of playhouses across the world.

Shoot Your Eye Out On "A Christmas Story" Tour
Cleveland is quickly becoming a hot vacation destination. First, they've got the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which is pretty sweet if you want to see some old guitars or see the handwritten lyrics to Purple Haze. But that's nothing compared to the newest attraction set to open its doors on November 25th.
The house where the classic film "A Christmas Story" was shot is officially being opened up to the public as a tourist attraction. For the low price of $5 ($3 for children) you can visit the famous house and its accompanying museum located conveniently across the street. The house has been completely remodeled to recreate the same look that it had in the original flick. As far as souveniers are concerned, the gift shop offers the greatest item ever concieved -- a replica of the leg lamp that Ralph's father won and proudly displayed in the front window of the house (much to the dismay of Ralphie's mother).
"Saw 3" Draws New Blood
Now here's a creepy promotion... "Saw 3" will auction off a poster marked in the real blood of one of the film's cast members.
Actor Tobin Bell, who plays the Jigsaw killer in the highly successful horror franchise, has donated a vial of his blood to mix with the red ink used in about 1,000 posters. The posters are being sold online for $20 each, except for the first print, which will be autographed by the film's cast and crew and auctioned off. All proceeds from the auction and sales will go to the American Red Cross.
The blood-letting doesn't stop there though. Lions Gate, the distributors producers of the film, will also hold a nationwide Halloween Blood Drive timed with the movie's release with all prodceeds going to Red Cross. This marks the third year of the odd promotion, which has collected more than 14,000 liters of the red stuff to date.

Paris Says Bonjour to Borat
When a press conference starts with the words, "Good afternoon gentlemen and prostitutes. How much? I have dollars," it's sure to be a good time.
Sacha Baron Cohen, in full Borat character, held a press conference in Paris today to promote his new film "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan," where he took shots at Uzbekistan, President Bush and American women in general.
Having just toured America, the fictional TV reporter told the press, "We in Kazakhstan admire very much Premier Bush. He is very wise man but not only this, he is very strong," said Borat adding, "Although perhaps not as strong as his father, Barbara. Tough guy. Like John Waynes."
Kennedy Family Offers Praise to "Bobby"
The upcoming movie "Bobby," an ensemble drama about the 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy directed by Emilio Estevez, has drawn praise from the former senator's widow and one of his daughters.
"Our family is grateful to Emilio Estevez and the extraordinary cast of 'Bobby' for remembering Robert Kennedy's life and his commitment to social justice, peace and equality," Ethel Kennedy said in a statement released today by the Weinstein Company, the producers of the film.
Kennedy's daughter Kerry, who was 8 years old at the time, said, "To remember Robert Kennedy's life, his commitment to social justice and civil rights, his determination to end war and to make America an instrument of a more just and peaceful world is the purpose of this movie – and for that our family is most grateful to Emilio Estevez, Harvey Weinstein and the cast of extraordinary talents that have made this project possible."
The film features Harry Belafonte, Joy Bryant, Nick Cannon, Emilio Estevez, Laurence Fishburne, Brian Geraghty, Heather Graham, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Hunt, Joshua Jackson, David Krumholtz, Ashton Kutcher, Shia LaBeouf, Lindsay Lohan, William H. Macy, Svetlana Metkina, Demi Moore, Freddy Rodriguez, Martin Sheen, Christian Slater, Sharon Stone, Jacob Vargas, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Elijah Wood.
The film opens in select cities November 17 and nationwide on November 23.
Leatherface Strikes Hollywood
Not only is she no longer the "Sexiest Woman Alive," but Jessica Biel's handing over another title - Scream Queen.
With "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning" opening today, Jessica Biel relinquishes her crown to Jordana Brewster, who steps into the horror-heroine role for the prequel.
Both babes were at LA's premiere of the slasher flick where Brewster explained the difference between this film and Biel's 2003 blood-soaked remake. "It starts with Leatherface's birth and then it like jump cuts to like 30 years later and then it's the first bloodbath, first killing," says Brewster, "You also get to find out why he is so twisted and why he is a killer."
Andrew Bryniarski, who jumps into Leatherface's chainsaw-wielding shoes for the second time, was at the premiere as well and probably creeped out a few reporters by taking on his on-screen alter-ego. "I don't mess around. If I'm coming you can't stop me. And once you get this close what are you going to do?"
Word of advice - it may be a good idea to avoid running into Bryniarski in a dark alley. "TCM: The Beginning" opens today.

Jessica's Revolving Men
After her split from Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson has been romantically connected to a handful of men including John Mayer and Maroon 5's Adam Levine -- but Jess doesn't seem to mind.
"I'm just used to it by now, it's just kind of a part of my life," she tells a reporter while promoting her new film "Employee of the Month," adding, "Every guy that gets within 5 feet of me is automatically linked to me."
Dane Cook, who knows a thing or two about being linked to the blonde vixen, jokingly adds, "Yeah, she's been my wife for 2 years now."
Just this week, Page Six spies spotted the "Employee" co-stars "whispering into each other's ears" and added that Dane "kept coming back to her every time he was pulled away." Simpson went home with another man though -- her hairdresser Ken Paves.
"Employee of the Month" opens today.

Matt's Tale of the Toothbrush
Matthew McConaughey's bizarre tooth-brushing habits made headlines on Monday and now Matt himself is talking about it.
Cameras spotted the Texan stud polishing his pearly whites as he waited at a stop light, really getting into it. "Ha, ha! I do like clean teeth, man," Matt tells "EXTRA" correspondent AJ Calloway, "they never go out of style."
He adds that there are always photographers around his Malibu home, so they're likely to get some good video from time to time, "they followed me all day and I take my toothbrush in the car and I'm brushing."
Calloway caught up with McConaughey in West Virginia, where his next film "We Are Marshall" was filmed. The movie is based on the true story of what happened after a plane crash killed most of the 1970 Marshall University football. The film opens December 22.
