Baron Davis says he''ll stack his acting prowess up against LBJ's, any day.

Our photog caught up with Davis Sunday night at Nike's Drew League Championship in L.A. -- and he was quick to give LeBron props for his role in "Trainwreck."

Davis had his own comedic breakthrough recently in "Joe Dirt 2" -- the scene with David Spade is hysterical -- so, we had to ask who's got a brighter future in Hollywood ... him or LeBron?

As you'd expect ... BD tapped himself, but he did recommend King James for one specific role.

Vivian Falcone is cashing in on the perks of being Melissa McCarthy’s daughter … by playing the younger version of her mom's character in the new movie, "Michelle Darnell."

TMZ obtained Vivian’s minor contract and she's definitely getting a boost from her parents … her mom is the star of the film and her dad, Ben Falcone, is the director and writer.

She was originally cast as an extra but was later given an upgrade ... playing the 10-year-old version of Melissa's role.

Bradley Pierce, the little kid from "Jumanji," doesn't want Sony to roll the dice on the reboot ... and for good reason.

Pierce hasn't been asked to reprise his role as Peter Shepherd from the original '95 film, which also starred Robin Williams.

The snub's not what's bothering Pierce about the remake ... it's the fact that Williams obviously isn't in the picture ... he carried the film to blockbuster status.

Pierce says he believes Williams would have had his doubts about a reboot, and not because the late actor didn't want to wait for someone to roll another 5 or 8.

Chris Farley's voice work as "Shrek" has long been the stuff of legend, and for the first time ever ... we can actually hear it.

Farley completed nearly all of his dialogue for the movie before he passed away, opening the door for Mike Myers to transform the role into his own.

The video is just a series of storyboards and features Farley voicing Shrek and, of course, Eddie Murphy as Donkey.

Caitlyn Jenner took a break from her reality TV chaos and hit up the movies to catch a showing of "Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation."

Jenner trekked all the way from her home in Malibu to Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas in Westlake Village Tuesday afternoon.

Our sources say, Halle lost her engagement ring in Mexico a year-and-a-half ago. She was at the Acapulco International Film Festival in January 2014 where she received the Silver Jaguar Award. Halle says the ring either fell off her hand or she left it on a table and someone took it.

As for why she or hubby Olivier Martinez haven't replaced it ... we're told it just wasn't a priority.

Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr. is 79-years-old, but NOT too old to rock some new ice in his ear ... much like the average teenager.

Louis got his left ear re-pierced Monday at T-Man Tattoo in Studio City, CA. He told staffers he first got it pierced back in '74 for a movie role, but it closed up when he stopped wearing earrings sometime in the '80s.

T-Man owner Howard Teman says the 'Officer and a Gentleman' star brought in an eraser-sized diamond stud to fill the hole -- and entertained everyone by busting out the alien voice from “Enemy Mine.”

All told, he dropped $45 for the piercing and aftercare products ... plus a generous tip.

Fun fact: LGJ just edged out a couple of elderly pierced gents -- Morgan Freeman is 78, and Harrison Ford, a spry 73.

1:30 PM PST -- Sources close to both T.I. and Drake say the culprit was a heavily intoxicated friend of T.I.'s who peed himself. The pee unintentionally got on Drake's shoe and that's when he got pissed.

Meek Mill's random line at the end of his Drake diss song -- that Drake once got PEED ON -- is true.

The lyric in question came at the very end of "Wanna Know," where Meek said, "You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater n****, we ain’t forget."

Our sources say, it all went down in 2010, during a private screening of "Takers" on the Sony lot ... a movie in which Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Chris Brown and T.I. all starred in.

Drake attended the screening and, 30 minutes in, jumped up screaming and ran out of the theater.

We're told a dispute erupted over who was sitting where ... apparently Drake and one of T.I.'s childhood friends got into it. The friend got pissed, and pissed on Drake.

We're told Drake ran out of the theater, screaming "motherf*****."

And sources told us the obvious ... intoxicants were involved.

Hilary Swank, a two-time Oscar winner who's dated Hollywood stars, has gone reality, because she's getting cozy with a former contestant from "The Bachelorette."

Swank spent her 41st birthday Thursday night at Gjelina -- a popular restaurant in Venice, CA -- with Kasey Stewart, who was eliminated in week 9 during Desiree Hartsock's season of "The Bachelorette."

Stewart posted, "Happy Birthday to this beautiful soul. @hilaryswank."

This boy's not cryin'.

Turns out ... Swank and Stewart go back to at least 2013 ... when the pair posed for a photo together in nearly matching v-neck t-shirts.

"OITNB" star Taryn Manning is clearly pissed at her former film collaborator over a movie that has languished for years, even though she's the biggest star by far in the flick.

Taryn's filed suit against Cline Mayo, who was working with her since 2007 to get her film "Droppers" made. Taryn was slated to star in the movie and a trailer was finally cut this past February.

But something happened between the 2, because Taryn says their partnership abruptly ended, even though she says she worked tirelessly on the project, funding the trailer and creating the "look, feel, and scenario."

It seems Taryn's lawsuit is a preemptive strike, because she says Mayo is about to sue her for copyright infringement.

According to Taryn's lawyer, "Ms. Manning simply wants to set the record straight - she did not engage in any form of copyright infringement and Ms. Mayo does not even have a valid claim to the sole copyright ownership of 'Droppers.'"

Taryn wants the judge to hold the Mayo ... accountable.

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron were back together Wednesday after they were forced to reunite in South Africa for re-shoots on the set of their movie ... six weeks after they ended their engagement.

To make matters worse ... Penn's the director of "The Last Face" and Theron's the star ... so he's her boss. Not awkward in the slightest.

Theron and Penn broke things off back in June after getting engaged in December 2014.

At this point, Tiger Woods should probably be open to ANY suggestions that might help his golf game ... which is why he was all ears when our photog threw out a tip about an inspirational movie that seems up his alley.
