The Mavericks frontman and cofounder Raul Malo has died ... the band announced Tuesday morning.

In a lengthy statement posted to Instagram ... the country-rock band said Malo died Monday ... no cause was given, but in June 2024, he announced he had been diagnosed with colon cancer.

The band said in part ... "Anyone with the pleasure of being in Raul’s orbit knew that he was a force of human nature, with an infectious energy. Over a career of more than three decades entertaining millions around the globe, his towering creative contributions and unrivaled, generational talent created the kind of multicultural American music reaching far beyond America itself."

The crazed fan who jumped Ariana Grande at Singapore's "Wicked: For Good" premiere was reportedly kicked out of Lady Gaga's concert in Australia Monday night.

Here's the deal ... a fan named Callum Cantrill shared on social media that he and his pal spotted the controversial "super fan," Johnson Wen, at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium and alerted security. Callum said Johnson seemed to be incognito -- wearing a brown wig and mustache -- and was in the VIP early entrance line.

Security swiftly responded ... and there's video of a man looking strikingly similar to Johnson being escorted out of the floor-seating portion of the venue.

Post Malone had himself a lil’ oopsie moment ... dude went flying mid-show during a concert in India -- and yep, fans caught every second of the tumble on video.

We've got shocking new details regarding the potential origins of the apartment fire that sent soul singer and former Prince collaborator Alexander O'Neal to the hospital early Friday morning.

The musician's wife, Cynthia, tells TMZ ... she recalls being woken up to Alexander frantically alerting her about a fire "with his arms in the air," which is when she noticed "a bubble of fire" in the cord attached to his oxygen machine. He was on oxygen because he had just been released from the ICU hours before, following a nearly 2-week stay.

Cynthia says she noticed a separate fire on the floor that Alexander had tried stomping out with his bare foot and burned himself doing so. That blaze grew to the mattress, and that's when they decided to leave their residence and call 911.

Soul singer Alexander O'Neal -- who once worked with Prince -- was rushed to the hospital via ambulance early Friday morning with his wife, Cynthia, after a blaze broke out in their apartment complex, TMZ can confirm.

A spokesperson for the city of Burnsville, Minnesota tells TMZ there was a fire reported at the Willoway Apartments at 1:15 in the morning ... and other nearby fire departments and public safety teams responded to bring the fire under control.

Only 2 individuals were brought to the hospital, while another person was treated and released at the scene, we're told. A family member confirmed Cynthia and Alexander were both treated at a local hospital, but declined to share their condition.
