Billboard unveiled BB at the top of their yearly Greatest Pop Stars list Friday ... with the Puerto Rican singer beating out the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter -- and even the showgirl herself, Taylor Swift.

The popular music publication cites the success of his album "Debí Tirar Más Fotos," his "No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí" residency and even his part in "Happy Gilmore 2" for why he topped the list.

Nicki Minaj isn't backing down after controversially calling Don Lemon a homophobic slur ... she's doubling down on that remark in a new podcast promo that dropped amid his arrest.

Days before Don's Thursday night arrest, the rapper sat down for an interview on "The Katie Miller Podcast" ... and she was asked to respond to him calling her "racist, unhinged, homophobic and our of [her] depth" -- all comments he made on "TMZ Live."

Minaj replied simply, "C***sucker, stop" ... prompting laughs from Miller before the clip ends.

Nicki Minaj continued her all-out MAGA tour Thursday night by showing up to the film premiere of "Melania" in Washington, D.C.

The rapper was dressed to the nines as she rubbed elbows with MAGA's biggest names at the Kennedy Center, including President Donald Trump, Melania Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Dr. Phil and many more.

TMZ obtained video of Nicki shaking hands and hobnobbing with the likes of Don Jr., his fiancé, Bettina Anderson and Dr. Phil on an upper tier of one of the theaters. The president was standing nearby chatting with some guy in a suit.

Ariana Grande grew another finger thanks to a Vogue Japan Photoshop fail ... and she seemingly loved the mistake -- saying it'll help her make a new album!

Check out the pic -- it shows the "Wicked" star modeling a floral print Dior mini skirt and top set paired with mesh white gloves. If you look at her left hand, she's got an extra pinky poking out from behind -- uncovering what appears to be a retouching fail. Oops.

Ariana didn't mind the oopsie, though. In fact, she called it "exciting!" on a fan's post about it, writing ... "I’ve been saying i need some extra appendages so that i can start an album ! thankful for this."

Billy Bob Thornton was stuck bracing for a nor'easter in New Jersey this week, but he didn't let that stop him from making an appearance at a benefit show in Los Angeles ... as the actor took the stage by FaceTime.

Here's the backstory ... Billy Bob and country crooner Dwight Yoakam have been friends for decades and starred in the 1996 classic flick "Sling Blade" together. Billy was set to host Dwight's event benefitting Children's Hospital L.A., but he's currently out of town shooting the movie "Somedays" with Ariana Greenblatt. Sadly, weather didn't permit him to travel.

Determined to still make it somehow, Billy called Dwight's phone, which was then brought on stage in the middle of Dwight's performance at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood.

Heidi Klum never met a top she didn't want to immediately take off ... and she's using her love for the nude to push a new musical venture.

Ray J says doctors are giving him every drug under the sun in an attempt to prolong his life ... prescribing eight different kinds of medications despite their grim prognosis.

The rapper tells TMZ ... he went to doctors who gave him the bad news, telling him they're not sure how long he has to live ... and they recommend he stay in bed and take his medication.

ICYMI ... Ray J says doctors gave him just months to live -- telling his followers he doesn't think he's going to make it to 2027. He says half of his heart has turned black and it's only beating at 60 percent, which is not a good sign.

Taylor Swift still can't regain the "Greatest Pop Star" title from Billboard ... losing out on the accomplishment for the second year in a row ... and begging the question, who outdid her???

TS finished at No. 2. on the magazine's "Greatest" list ... one spot higher than she ended last year, but still falling short of the ultimate title.

Last year, Sabrina Carpenter and Kendrick Lamar finished at #2 and #1, respectively ... but they fell behind T-Swift this year ... finishing at #5 and #4. So the person who beat out Taylor this year will be a different star than the last iteration.

Zayn Malik has entered the chat ... after fans expressed shock, frustration and outright rage over Harry Styles' startling ticket prices, Zayn seemed to add to the pile-on during a recent concert.

While on stage at Las Vegas' Dolby Live at Park MGM recently, Zayn said, “A big, big thank you to each and every one of you for being here with me tonight."

Then, with a big smile, he added, "You could’ve been anywhere, but you decided to spend your night with me. Hopefully the ticket prices weren’t too high ... just saying.”
