Ghislaine Maxwell can't rely on President Donald Trump to secure her release from prison ... because his acting Attorney General says he will not recommend pardoning Maxwell.

Todd Blanche -- who took over the DOJ in earlier April after POTUS fired AG Pam Bondi -- testified before Congress Tuesday ... and the infamous Epstein files came up.

Senator Chris Van Hollen pressed Blanche on whether he'd meet with Epstein's victims -- he said he has -- before asking him if he'd commit to not pardoning any person named in the files.

Two teenagers are suspected of shooting up the San Diego Islamic Center, killing three before taking their own lives, and cops say one of the boys' mothers told them he was suicidal and her guns and car were missing hours before the attack.

San Diego police say one of the suspects is a 17-year-old San Diego high school student ... and his mom called them to report a runaway juvenile who left with a companion dressed in camouflage.

Cops say they were interviewing the mother and searching for the teen when the first shots rang out Monday at San Diego's largest mosque.

8:38 AM PT -- TikTok influencer Gabbie Gonzalez will be charged in an alleged conspiracy to kill the father of her daughter ... boy band singer Jack Avery, and TMZ has learned her father is also in custody for the alleged plot.

TikTok star Gabbie Gonzalez is behind bars, potentially facing a very serious charge ... after getting arrested for felony conspiracy to commit a crime ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement tells us Gonzalez was initially arrested Monday in Humboldt County in Northern California, and then transferred to an L.A. County jail, where she was booked on the felony charge.

While we don't know what the alleged underlying crime is yet ... it's serious enough that Gonzalez is currently being held without bail, according to jail records.

A Facebook Marketplace meetup over Corvette seats turned deadly ... and now the man convicted of pulling the trigger will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Omar Brogdon was sentenced Monday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the 2024 killing of Orhan Hosic in Michigan's Genesee County. Prosecutors say Hosic had arranged to meet Brogdon at his Fenton Township apartment to sell two Corvette car seats through Facebook Marketplace ... but the deal ended in gunfire.

Investigators say Hosic was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside his apartment on July 6, 2024. Authorities later tracked Brogdon down in the Detroit area weeks later ... where cops say they recovered the Corvette seats and multiple weapons from his garage.

Jonathan Andic -- the son of fashion mogul Isak Andic -- has been arrested for allegedly murdering Isak ... according to several prominent outlets in Spain.

Here's the deal ... Isak died in late 2024 after falling off a cliff in the Montserrat mountains near Barcelona. He was hiking with Jonathan and several other family members at the time -- though the newspaper El País reported he was only with Jonathan at the time of the fall.

Jonathan became the subject of a homicide investigation last year ... and, on Tuesday, he was taken into custody in Barcelona -- with photographers capturing authorities taking him away.

College students got hit with the ultimate irony at their graduation ... 'cause after being warned not to use A.I. in their schoolwork, their own college used it for commencement -- and the whole thing completely face-planted!

1:12 PM: SDPD wrote on X that the threat has been "neutralized." And according to NBC 7 ... high-level law enforcement sources from local agencies confirmed that 2 suspects are reported dead and three men have been killed.

Police are responding to reports of an active shooter at a mosque in San Diego, according to San Diego Police Department.

Authorities say the situation is "still active but contained" ... explaining there are "significant resources" on site.

SDPD say they're on the scene at the Islamic Center of San Diego in Clairemont, and are encouraging people to avoid the area. According to NBC 7, a shelter-in-place was ordered.

San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria said on X he's aware there's an active shooter and is getting updates from law enforcement.

He wrote ... "Emergency personnel are on scene and actively working to protect the community and secure the area."

California Governor Gavin Newsom has also been briefed. His press office wrote on X that the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services is working with local law enforcement.

An autopsy report is filling in the blanks in Auburn grad Whitney Robeson's death ... alleging a casual show-and-tell of antique firearms ended with a deadly gunshot.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner, Whitney was visiting Alabama with her boyfriend on March 7 when his dad allegedly pulled out a collection of antique firearms to show the couple. Investigators say he was handling a Colt Navy single action revolver when the gun -- which he allegedly didn't realize was loaded -- fired a single round into Whitney's chest.

As we reported ... Jeffrey Scott Towers -- the father of Robeson's partner -- was arrested and charged with manslaughter last week, 2 months after Whitney's death. He was released from jail after posting a $30K bond.

2:07 PM PT -- A Google spokesperson tells TMZ ... the technical issue has been fixed ... and "post-fire imagery is rolling out again now across Google Maps and Earth."

Google Maps appears to have rolled back parts of Los Angeles to pre-Palisades Fire imagery ... making burned-down neighborhoods suddenly look untouched again.

Users, including Spencer Pratt, noticed the change Monday after updated satellite views on Google Maps appeared to restore homes, streets, and landmarks that were destroyed in the devastating wildfire.

A Google spokesperson says the change was accidental ... telling TMZ, "This is a technical issue triggered by a recent, routine update to satellite imagery in Google Maps and Earth, which accidentally restored old imagery from before the fire. We’re fixing it ASAP."

Elon Musk took a major L in court Monday ... because a federal jury ruled OpenA.I. and founder Sam Altman aren't on the hook in the billionaire's explosive lawsuit accusing the company of abandoning its original mission to benefit humanity.

A unanimous jury -- which deliberated less than two hours -- decided Musk waited too long to sue ... ruling the claims fell outside California’s three-year statute of limitations. They determined he was aware of the alleged conduct years before he finally filed the case in 2024 -- and that means OpenA.I., Altman, Microsoft and company president Greg Brockman all walk away without liability.

The court showdown turned into a credibility war between Musk and Altman ... with each accusing the other of caring more about money than protecting humanity from dangerous A.I. tech.

A Croatia Airlines jet skidded off the runway and smashed into some signage and lighting during an aborted takeoff ... and it's all on video.

Terrifying footage shows the Croatia Airlines flight speeding down the runway at Split Airport in Croatia when all of a sudden the plane starts veering to its left ... the jet goes onto the grass and smashes through runway lights and a runway marker before coming to a screeching halt.

It all went down Saturday ... the flight had over 130 passengers and crew on board ... and they were trying to fly from Croatia's Adriatic coast to Frankfurt, Germany.

There's also video from inside the plane ... from one passenger who was recording from the window seat. There's rain on the window, but it's unclear if weather conditions played a factor here.

Croatia Airlines says no one was injured.

Alex Murdaugh isn't wasting any time after getting his murder convictions thrown out ... because he's now suing court clerk Becky Hill over claims she rigged the trial against him so she could cash in on the case with a book deal.

According to a new federal lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Murdaugh says Hill secretly worked jurors throughout his explosive 2023 double-murder trial ... allegedly warning them not to be "fooled," "confused," or "convinced" by his defense team and pushing them toward a guilty verdict.

The filing comes just days after the South Carolina Supreme Court tossed Murdaugh's convictions ... ruling Hill's comments to the jury jury tampering poisoned the trial process and denied him a fair trial.

Luigi Mangione just got a major ruling in his state murder case, with a judge deciding Monday several pieces of evidence will not be used -- including an ammunition magazine -- but prosecutors still won on the major items found in his backpack.

The Monday ruling comes after Luigi’s attorneys argued cops illegally searched his backpack when he was arrested at a McDonald's back in December 2024 ... just days after Brian Thompson was gunned down in NYC.

The judge agreed the search at the McDonald’s was “unreasonable” and said there were no emergency circumstances to justify it ... meaning several of the items found during that search will now be inadmissible in the case.
