Colin Jost is off the hook from his Olympics coverage duties in Tahiti after a week of injury drama, starting with his toe wounds ... which he quipped invite ants to move in if he stands still too long.

Yep, things really went south for NBC’s 2024 surfing correspondent since landing in French Polynesia -- it was injury after injury ... kickstarting with a nasty run-in with a coral reef last week, which left three of his toes wrapped in gauze.

Colin had a good laugh about it, even joking his WikiFeet fame might take a hit. But right now, the only thing crashing the scene could be ants -- something he told NBC’s Maria Taylor he never saw coming.

Simon Biles and Jordan Chiles bowed to Rebeca Andrade in a show of Olympic sportsmanship ... and it really ticked off NFL player Marlon Humphrey.

Humphrey -- the star Baltimore Ravens cornerback – jumped on X to slam Biles and Chiles after the two American gymnasts lost to Brazil's Andrade in Monday's floor finals.

Biles and Chiles came in second and third, respectively, and were later pictured bowing to Andrade as she accepted the gold medal.

The food in Olympic Village is straight-up crap, according to a British swimmer ... who says the nasuea-inducing grub's so gross, athletes have literally found WORMS in the fish!

Adam Peaty -- who won a silver medal in the 100m breaststroke -- leveled the serious accusations in an interview with a British newspaper after wrapping up the swim competition at the Paris 2024 games ... and it's abundantly clear he's heated over the subpar food.

“I like my fish and people are finding worms in the fish," Peaty said. "It’s just not good enough. The standard, we’re looking at the best of the best in the world, and we’re feeding them not the best."

Paraguayan hottie Luana Alonso is firing back at claims she got kicked out of her Olympic digs for alleged "inappropriate behavior" ... making it damn clear that's not what happened.

In an IG Story Monday, she cleared things up in a statement ... "I just wanted to make it clear that I was never removed or expelled from anywhere, stop spreading false information."

Luana said she wasn’t going to give a big official statement, but she also wasn’t gonna let the lies get to her either -- looks like her short and sweet post was a solid middle ground.

Serena Williams is putting a Paris hotel on blast ... calling out the establishment for denying her family access to a rooftop restaurant -- despite it being completely "empty."

The 42-year-old tennis legend went to X to publicly send a message to The Peninsula Hotel on Monday ... sharing her frustrations with how her visit went down.

But that all changed Sunday when Committee Olympic Paraguay general manager Larissa Schaerer issued a statement saying Alonso’s mere presence was having an inappropriate effect on her team.

United States Rugby player Ilona Maher took some time out of her busy day to snap a pic with a fan while taking in the sights of the Paris games ... with the fan being none other than the G.O.A.T., Tom Brady!

The meetup went down Sunday night in Paris while the two were watching a beach volleyball game at the Eiffel Tower stadium. Maher -- who helped lead the U.S. to their first Olympic medal in rugby -- posted a behind-the-scenes video to her Instagram, joking that Brady was the one who wanted the selfie with her.
