Nelson Mandela Loves 'Toddlers and Tiaras'?
Everyone has their guilty pleasures and it seems former South African President Nelson Mandela has one of his own ... the TLC show "Toddlers & Tiaras."
Yes, the revolutionary leader has a soft spot for child beauty pageants ... at least that's what his granddaughters say. Zaziwe Dlamini-Manaway and Swati Dlamini, who are promoting a reality show of their own, told the AP, "You'll be interested to know that he loves 'Toddlers & Tiaras'. Because of the kids, he just loves children."
Another grandchild told the Guardian he's never actually seen Mandela watch "Toddlers" and that he's more of a National Geographic kind of guy.
That sounds more like it.

Louie Anderson Saved By Ndamukong Suh After 'Splash' Mishap
Comedian Louie Anderson narrowly averted disaster this week at a taping of "Splash" -- because he nearly sank to the bottom of the pool from sheer exhaustion -- but thankfully, Detroit Lions star Ndamukong Suh came to the rescue.
Sources close to the production tell TMZ, Louie -- who's a contestant on the show -- was practicing his dives on Wednesday when he became a little too bushed to pull himself up the ladder ... falling back into the water again and again.
We're told Louie eventually had to be rescued by Suh and divemaster Greg Louganis -- who physically lifted the foundering funnyman to the poolside. Louie then sat coughing up water for several seconds.
Despite the scare, we're told Louie's gonna be fine -- his rep says Louie is already “feeling great, loving the challenge."
In other news, Suh's teammates were on to something.

'Plastic Wives' Star I NEED Plastic Surgery ... to Survive in L.A.
The star of "Plastic Wives" -- a new reality show about the wives of plastic surgeons who pride themselves on FREE nips and tucks -- says the only way to keep up in L.A. is to go under the knife ... and firmly believes there's NOTHING wrong with that.
Frances Marques -- one of four women featured on TLC's new show -- was out in L.A. Thursday night and we asked all about her controversial new show and her various procedures ... we're talkin' butt implants, lip reconstruction (NOT on your mouth), botox, liposuction ... the list goes on.
Frances tells TMZ ... plastic surgery shouldn't be seen as a taboo thing, because "everybody has everything done" -- and it's nothing to be ashamed of.
She explains, "Upkeep is important, especially in Los Angeles ... Everybody that's beautiful around the nation comes here, to be somebody. So we're competing with these gorgeous women. So we wanna keep it up. What's wrong with that?"
Um ... nothing?
Ndamukong Suh's Teammates Celeb Diving Show is a HUGE MISTAKE!
Ndamukong Suh should NEVER have signed up to compete on "Celebrity Diving" ... this according to several of Suh's Detroit Lions teammates who tell TMZ the decision is shockingly irresponsible.
We broke the story ... Suh -- who's in the middle of a 5-year $68 MILLION contract with the Lions -- recently joined the cast of the ABC reality show ... and will be required to launch his 6'4", 307-pound body off a high diving board.
TMZ spoke to a BUNCH of Suh's teammates ... who all feel (very strongly) that he's making a huge mistake.
One source tells us ... "We need him on the field and if he gets hurt during the off-season doing wild stunts ... it would be bad and it ain't worth it. He is too valuable to the team."
Another source expressed similar concerns -- "if he gets a busted ear drum or an infection, it could have serious effects on his off-season training."
Several of Suh's teammates also told us they were surprised the organization would allow him to participate in the first place ... since there is a real serious risk he could hurt himself.
One last source -- who happens to be an African-American -- added, "He's a big dude ... and 'black' and 'pool' just don't mix. He's built for football ... not belly flops."

Katherine Webb Going Hollywood with Ndamukong Suh!
Great news for Brent Musburger ... 'cause Katherine Webb (the chick he ogled during the BCS championship game) has signed a deal to star in a new reality competition show ... which requires her to spend A LOT of time in a bathing suit.
TMZ has learned Miss Alabama USA 2012 -- aka the hot girlfriend of Alabama QB A.J. McCarron -- will be a contestant on the upcoming ABC show "Celebrity Diving."
We obtained pics of Katherine on the L.A. set today with some of her co-stars ... a cast that includes Detroit Lions badboy Ndamukong Suh, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Nicole Eggert, Kendra Wilkinson, Louie Anderson, Drake Bell, Chuy from the E! Network, and Keshia Knight Pulliam.
Kinda shocking that Katherine joined the cast ... considering Webb did everything she could to duck the media after she was thrust into the spotlight during the BCS game earlier this month.
As we previously reported, Webb's BF was upset that she was getting more attention than his team -- so Katherine issued a self-imposed media ban on herself. She also told TMZ she wanted to move to Alabama so she could focus on her relationship with A.J..
But when the show came a callin', Katherine decided she spent enough time in celebrity exile.
Ndamukong Suh is also a pretty shocking addition to the cast -- considering he's in the middle of a huge contract and NFL coaches don't usually love it when a star player risks his health by jumping off a high dive.
Then again, Suh has an image problem -- people think he's a jerk -- and he could use the show to convince fans that he's not really the monster he appears to be on the field.

Shawty Lo -- the rapper with 11 kids and 10 baby mamas -- vows to resurrect his cancelled reality show ... telling TMZ he's already getting multiple offers after Oxygen pulled the plug earlier this week.

Now, Shawty tells us he's actively shopping the show to other networks and he's already gotten a few bites, explaining, "There are offers on the table."
As for the criticism, Shawty says, "I take pride in having been actively present in all my children's lives -- and I understand my family doesn't represent the typical American family, but it's my family and it works for us."

We're told Ziggy bought the 2,613-square-foot house as an investment property. It's actually two pads attached together -- a duplex -- each with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath.
It's a pretty rare find ... the place dates back to the 1920's and hasn't been on the market in over 4 decades. Plus, it's rocking hardwood floors, granite counters, updated cabinetry and a giant backyard.
... full of grass.

'Buckwild' Stars Don't Compare Us to 'Jersey Shore'
They're both reality shows on MTV that feature a subculture of America doing crazy things on camera and bringing notoriety to their region ... but the stars of the new show "Buckwild" say they're nothing like their "Jersey Shore" counterparts.
Our photog caught up with two of the show's stars, Shain Gandee and Shae Bradley, yesterday in NYC ... fresh off the premiere of their show, which is set in the backwoods of West Virgina.
When our photog asked how "Buckwild" compares to the now-complete "Jersey Shore" ... Shae was quick to kill any comparison: "We don't [compare]. They're both reality shows. We're both just living our lives, but they're not alike at all."
Seeing as the majority of the cast of "JS" made millions off their sudden fame ... perhaps Shae should re-consider.

Pauly D I'm Getting a NEW Show ... Not on MTV
SAYONARA MTV ... Pauly D hasn't accepted the network's offer to renew "The Pauly D Project" ... and sources tell us, it's all because he's getting poached by another network, for a lot more cash.
Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... MTV -- the network Pauly has been with since 2009 -- wants to bring back his reality show for a 2nd season ... but he's not signing on anytime soon.
Our sources say the reason Pauly's dragging his feet -- he's been taking meetings with E! Network instead to discuss doing a show with them. And we're told ... E!'s offering a lot more coin.
We're told Pauly's close to inking a new deal ... he's already had 3 meetings about the project ... and E! is EXTREMELY interested in making it happen.
As for the show, our sources say it will focus more on Pauly's entire life, rather than just his DJ career.
So ... more gym shots?
Calls to Pauly D's rep have not been returned.

"Wife Swap" Star No Longer an Alleged Prostitute
The former "Wife Swap" star who was charged with exchanging sex for money back in August ... can officially join the "not a prostitute" club ... because the charge has been dropped, TMZ has learned.
As we previously reported ... 21-year-old Alicia Guastaferro -- who was on the show back in '08 -- was arrested in New York after cops caught her half naked with a 54-year-old male lawyer ... in the back seat of a car.
But Guastaferro got some good news Tuesday night ... the District Attorney's Office dropped the prostitution charge in the "interest of justice" -- aka extreme leniency.
Alicia's not out of the woods yet ... she still faces several other charges from the same incident: criminal impersonation, criminal possession and possession of a controlled substance.
She's due back in court March 12.

'Storage Wars' Lawsuit Claims Show is RIGGED
"Storage Wars" -- the hit A&E show -- is deceiving viewers by making it seem contestants are bidding on unseen items, when the best goods are actually planted inside ... this according to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ.
The lawsuit -- filed by the former star, David Hester -- claims he was axed when he complained to producers about the alleged rigging practices.
Hester claims in one case producers planted a BMW mini car under a pile of trash. In another case, Hester alleges producers planted a pile of old newspapers that announced the death of Elvis. For some reason, that's a valuable commodity.
And Hester goes on ... claiming the show even gave less than photogenic cast members money for plastic surgery to "create more sex appeal."
Hester claims in the suit he was wrongfully terminated because he blew the whistle.
But Dan Dotson -- the guy behind the show's auction company -- disagrees, telling TMZ, every unit seen on the show is legit and has a seal on it before they open it ... making it impossible for A&E to tamper with the units before filming begins.
Dan adds, “We only sell legitimate units on Storage Wars. Every unit goes through a 64-day legal process and no one has access to units prior to auction.”
A rep for A&E tells TMZ, "We do not know about a lawsuit being filed and we do not comment on pending or threatened litigation."
