Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are headed back across the pond temporarily ... but they're leaving at least one important family member behind.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Meghan's mom -- Doria Ragland -- isn't making the move with the couple despite her close relationship with her daughter and her son-in-law.

We're told Doria maintains a home near Los Angeles, and she has a life she's not ready to leave behind. Our sources say she will see the family ... though it's unclear where.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's temporary move back to the UK won't impact their businesses ... because we've learned infrastructure is in place to keep things moving while they're overseas.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... it'll be business as usual for Harry and Meghan's production company, Archewell Productions, and her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

We're told their staffers remain in California and will continue working during the couple's temporary relocation to England.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle aren't cutting ties with the USA despite their move back across the pond -- we've confirmed they're keeping their SoCal home, because like a former CA gov once said ... they'll be back.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... there are no plans at all to sell their Montecito mansion, and reports claiming otherwise just aren't accurate.

King Charles hosted a shocking family get-together on Friday ... with major British outlets reporting he saw Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their two young children for the first time in over four freaking years.

Chris Ship, a journalist at the well-known British outlet ITV, reported the royal reunion ... revealing the King of England and his wife Queen Camilla met with his youngest son, his American daughter-in-law and his two grandkids.

They reportedly met at Highgrove House -- Charles and Camilla's family residence in Southwest England.

Disgraced former Prince Andrew can't seem to shake the Jeffrey Epstein curse ... police in the United Kingdom are now reportedly flying to the U.S. to interview Virginia Giuffre's family. 

Investigators from Thames Valley Police are scheduled to travel across the pond to sit down for an informal chat with Giuffre’s brother and sister-in-law, Sky and Amanda Roberts, according to The Times of London. The two are reportedly not direct witnesses, so they will not be formally interviewed.

As you know, Andrew has been under scrutiny by Thames Valley Police for alleged sexual offenses in connection with the Epstein case. Andrew has long faced allegations that he had sex with Giuffre at least 3 times beginning when she was 17, although he has never been criminally charged.

Giuffre, perhaps one of Epstein's most well-known victims, died by suicide last year. 

The Times of London reports that Giuffre’s family credits the police with being “very proactive” in their investigation of Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles by King Charles following association with Epstein, as seen in the Epstein files.

Prince Harry's war with the British tabloids just hit another roadblock ... because he and a group of celebrity pals struck out in court against the publisher of the Daily Mail.

Harry and the other high-profile claimants accused Associated Newspapers Limited of illegally digging up information for stories about them ... but after an 11-week trial, the High Court ruled they simply didn't prove it.

In a 436-page judgment, the judge found the claimants failed to show the reporting stemmed from unlawful information gathering ... saying there were legitimate explanations for how the information could have been obtained -- so, the case was dismissed.

King Charles is rolling heavy ... climbing aboard a British Army tank and taking command during his first official visit to the Royal Tank Regiment.

The 77-year-old monarch strapped on a helmet and headset Monday before riding in the commander's seat of a Challenger 2 tank at Bovington Camp in Dorset ... popping out of the turret in sunglasses and a tie as the 60-plus-ton war machine kicked up dust around the arena. Prince Harry can't seem to get on the same page with King Charles ... the Duke of Sussex reportedly bungled his invite to Buckingham Palace.

Here's the deal, according to BBC ... Harry is visiting London this week, so Charles extended an invitation to Harry to stay at the royal residence while he's in town.

But here's the catch ... Buckingham Palace imposed a deadline for Harry to respond by the end of last week, but Harry missed it, so the invitation was rescinded, even after Harry accepted the invitation. 

Kate Middleton is trotting out more photos of her incredible experience climbing three mountain peaks to fight cancer -- and this time she's featuring her royal family.

On Sunday, the Princess of Wales posted a series of Instagram pics showing her with Prince William and their kids, Princess Charlotte and Prince George, after she had finished the National Three Peaks Challenge. Last month, Kate scaled three of the highest mountain peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales -- to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

In Sunday's IG post, Kate thanked everyone who supported the charity while noting that she had completed the National Three Peaks Challenge. 

Prince William made a surprise appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce's podcast this week ... and he dropped a bombshell about his father, King Charles.

William joined the brothers on "New Heights" ... and among the many topics -- no, nothing about the wedding! -- they talked soccer, since the World Cup is happening ... and that's when PW made a shocking admission -- the King "hates" soccer!

William, of course, is a huge fan -- and he said it was hard not to be since in his youth, that's pretty much all kids talked about ... but yeah -- the King ain't having it.

The 'Harry Potter' author met with the United Kingdom's Queen Consort Tuesday ... with the Royal Family's official X account sharing a picture of the two standing side by side.

Camilla wore an all-blue dress while J.K. opted for a white blazer layered over a dark blue shirt and pants combo.
