Chris Johnson Relaunches Ice Bucket Challenge ... Days After ALS Reveal

Chris Johnson vowed to raise awareness for ALS following his diagnosis ... and he's doing just that by bringing back the viral ice bucket challenge -- with Marshawn Lynch and LenDale White already taking part in the campaign!!

The former USC superstar was the first to share his clip ... and Johnson's daughter helped pour a large bowl of ice water over his head. He then called on guys like Vince Young and Deion Sanders to follow his lead.

Johnson's daughter also did her own ... calling on her brothers, twins CJ and Kaden, and LeBron James to continue the trend.

Beast Mode also showed his support ... sending kind words to CJ2K before getting doused in ice.

"First off that s*** was hella cold… but for CJ2k, f*** it. I’m in, I’m wit ya & I support you," Lynch said on Wednesday.

Not only did the ice bucket challenge take over social media in 2014, it also helped raise $220 MILLION globally for research.

The former Tennessee Titans superstar revealed earlier this week he was diagnosed with ALS last year at 39 years old ... but he has made it clear he will continue to fight.

Baltimore Ravens star Calais Campbell's brother was charged with murdering his mother ... and now there's new 911 audio where a family member says the brother is "mentally ill" and "diagnosed with schizophrenia."

In the audio clip, a man identified as Mr. Campbell tells the 911 operator to send police to a house in Buckhead -- an upscale Atlanta neighborhood -- to check on his mother, Nateal Campbell.

The caller says his brother suffers from schizophrenia "and some other things" and stays with their mom at her house. He says neighbors saw his brother driving their mom's car, which is very unusual.

According to a police report, obtained by TMZ, the Apopka Police Department responded to the Solaris Healthcare facility on May 25 after a female employed claimed Warren got physical with her.

The employee alleged Warren came to Solaris asking for records and answers regarding their family members’ insurance ... due to issues with claims being denied ... and she said he "became verbally hostile."

9:03 AM PT -- TMZ Sports has obtained Ciarre Campbell's mug shot.

Baltimore Ravens star Calais Campbell's brother has been charged with murdering their mother after she was found dead inside her Atlanta home.

Nateal Campbell, 71, was found unresponsive Tuesday in her upscale Buckhead townhome after a concerned family member asked police to perform a welfare check ... according to WSB-TV.

The Atlanta Police Department said responding officers learned a male "appeared to have barricaded himself inside the home" when they arrived ... and he was ultimately arrested.

Calais' brother, Ciarre Campbell, was booked into the Fulton County Jail on charges of murder, aggravated assault, and gun possession after midnight, per online jail records.
