Taylor Frankie Paul had a major legal victory yesterday that just might result in "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" production resuming ... and the reality TV star wants back on the popular Hulu series.
TMZ broke the news ... TFP will NOT be prosecuted for her alleged involvement in a couple of domestic violence incidents in Utah involving her ex, Dakota Mortensen. This is a big deal since it was those accusations -- and footage from a prior incident we reported -- which torpedoed her two shows, "The Bachelorette" being the other.
An insider with direct knowledge tells TMZ … yesterday was a major development ... and is a big step in 'SLOMW' maybe resuming production. But there are still some matters that need to be attended to -- such as the findings of the third-party investigation. It’s unclear at the moment where that process is at.
Taylor Frankie Paul No Criminal Charges Over Fights With Dakota
Taylor Frankie Paul will NOT be prosecuted for her alleged involvement in a couple domestic violence incidents in Utah involving her ex, Dakota Mortensen.
Prosecutors in Utah announced Tuesday they were declining to file criminal charges against the 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' star.
Taylor was the subject of two separate investigations by two different police departments ... but the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office says there was not enough evidence to support filing criminal charges.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Taylor’s sister Aspen May submitted a declaration as part of the exes' ongoing custody and TRO fights. The court docket indicates Aspen's declaration is related to the judge's requirement that a supervisor be present during Taylor’s parenting time.
Earlier this week, the judge presiding over Dakota's TRO ruled he'll continue to have custody of their son Ever, but Taylor will have 8 hours of supervised parenting time every week.

Taylor Frankie Paul was granted a temporary protective order against her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, amid their bitter court battle, TMZ has learned.
According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, a Utah judge ordered Dakota Tuesday to stay 100 yards away from Taylor until a hearing later this month, when the court will determine if either party will be awarded a permanent restraining order against the other.
As TMZ first reported, Dakota filed for a temporary protective order in March. He claimed she attacked him in February 2026 and listed multiple alleged incidents from their past. The court granted Dakota’s petition and awarded him temporary custody of their son, Ever.

"The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" cast is seeing light at the end of the tunnel -- after X dark weeks of no production, they seem to think filming will begin again ... if they can get the bosses onboard.
Multiple sources tell TMZ, it's the cast's understanding that production on the Hulu series will resume in a matter of weeks. There's also a push by the cast because delayed production could upend their summer plans, so it's kinda like ... let's get this show on the road!
While the cast was in solidarity for the show to pause production during a domestic violence investigation involving Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen ... we hear the consensus now is the casts concerns have been resolved.
Taylor Frankie Paul Judge Gives Her 8 Hours Per Week With Son
Taylor Frankie Paul is getting her day in court ... going toe-to-toe with her ex Dakota Mortensen in a protection hearing ... and a judge is giving Taylor supervised parent time with their two-year-old son.
The judge's ruling followed an hours-long hearing in Utah ... and he says Taylor can see her son for up to 8 hours of supervised parent time each week. The judge says this is a temporary custody arrangement for 3 weeks and 2 days until the next court hearing on April 30. Taylor can break up the 8 hours with her kid into 2-hour or 3-hour increments.
Dakota previously filed a temporary restraining order against TFP and is asking the court to extend the protective order into a long-term one, as authorities investigate accusations of domestic violence, which Dakota brought against Taylor.
Remember ... the temporary protective order meant that Taylor also temporarily lost custody of the couple's 2-year-old son, Ever.
Taylor Frankie Paul Files TRO Against Ex Dakota

11:14 AM PT -- In her TRO filing, Taylor Frankie Paul is finally going deep into the gritty details about her side of the domestic violence drama between her and her ex Dakota Mortensen. She says Dakota displayed signs of crazy jealousy -- stalking her, assaulting her, and becoming "increasingly possessive" ahead of her debut on "The Bachelorette." According to TFP, Dakota got her initials tattooed on the inside of his lip -- something she says she found out about leading up to their February altercation.
And while Dakota is accusing TFP of assaulting him in that incident, she says he actually assaulted her in that confrontation in February. Taylor accuses Dakota of slamming her head against the dashboard of his car while in Taylor's driveway.
Even wilder ... Taylor says he asked her for sex right after. According to Taylor, after she denied his advances, Dakota called the police on her.
Taylor Frankie Paul is going on the offensive ... the reality star has just filed a temporary restraining order against her ex Dakota Mortensen, TMZ has learned.
The filing, obtained by TMZ, comes before the estranged couple's court hearing today concerning a protective order that was granted to Dakota against Taylor.
Taylor Frankie Paul Submits Bruise Photos & Requests for Sex ... Allegedly From Dakota Mortensen
Taylor Frankie Paul submitted an avalanche of evidence to fight Dakota Mortensen's plea for a restraining order against her, TMZ has learned.
According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Taylor and her legal team filed a bunch of photos purportedly showing injuries after an alleged May 2025 assault ... and bruises on her forehead and knee from an alleged assault on February 23, 2026.
Other evidence includes "possessive texts" from Dakota and a screenshot of Dakota's request for sex after the February 23, 2026, incident ... the texts predate the incident. The photos of the bruising and the screenshot of the request for sex came after.
As TMZ first reported, Taylor and Dakota are facing off in court later today. Earlier this morning, the Mormon Wives star filed her own request for a protective order against Dakota.
In his request, her ex accused Taylor of being abusive to him. The Salt Lake County District Attorney is currently evaluating the claims to determine whether Taylor has violated her probation.

In her IG post, Paul said she still strongly believes in "Christ, God, the bible, the divine," pointing out that everyone is loved whether they pray in a church or on a bathroom floor at home. Paul goes on to talk about people who aren't sure about their faith, but she insists her decision to cut ties with the church lies in the fact that "there is more out there to learn."
As you know, Paul has been put through the wringer ever since TMZ published a 2023 video showing her getting into a violent altercation with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, in front of her then 5-year-old daughter, who suffered a head injury, according to a police report.
Hopefully, her new quest sets her back on the right track.

Dakota Mortensen was hesitant to report the February 2026 altercation with baby momma Taylor Frankie Paul to cops, due to her high public profile ... according to police documents obtained by TMZ.
In the narrative from the Draper Police Department about the recent incident, cops state an unknown caller reported that a friend was the victim of a domestic violence at the hands of an ex-girlfriend at her residence ... later describing two incidents of physical assault involving grabbing, scratching, shoving, and striking.
The report further states the victim was "apprehensive" to report on the incident, due to his alleged abuser's high public profile -- and mentions photos of the scratches on the victim's neck were obtained and uploaded to the case file in order to be investigated.
Taylor Frankie Paul 2026 Dakota Incident in D.A.'s Hands Now
Another batch of domestic violence allegations against Taylor Frankie Paul has made it to a district attorney's desk ... and they're weighing their options.
Draper Police Chief Rich Ferguson tells TMZ ... the City Prosecutor has submitted the case to the Salt Lake County District Attorney for evaluation ... this is regarding the alleged February incident in which TFP is accused of choking Dakota Mortensen and ripping a necklace off his neck.
According to Ferguson, the D.A. will determine if any charges will be filed ... but even if the D.A. doesn't file charges, the City Prosecutor could still decide to bring forth more legal action in the case.
