With hurricanes tearing through Florida lately, one couple knew they'd be returning to a waterlogged home, they certainly didn’t expect to find a surprise house guest waiting for them.

In this wild clip making waves online, a man cracks open the door to find water pouring out -- and, oh yeah, an alligator casually lounging by the entrance. Safe to say, the homeowners were left totally floored by their unexpected, scaly guest!

Now, you can see the gator -- or crocodile, as the video claims -- made himself right at home, looking the other way, completely oblivious that he had company -- so, luckily, there didn't seem to be any immediate danger to the Floridians.

Joaquin Phoenix isn't the only Joker on the streets these days ... a Brazilian man has taken inspiration from the crime thriller to wreak havoc on his former employer.

Check it out ... a man swings by a gas station where he used to work, and declares he's been driven insane by his termination. As you can see, the ex-employee is dressed as Batman's famed nemesis ... including green hair, white face paint, and a jarring red smile made from what appears to be lipstick.

The culprit then channels the comic book villain by smashing up the business in the name of revenge ... as his former colleagues hide inside.

Check out the clip ... earlier this month, two monkeys were hanging out on top of a trash can in a park in Parana State, Brazil, when one of them was filmed guzzling the contents of a discarded longneck beer bottle, holding it upside down by its paws. The man filming laughs, and the monkey appears to nod in agreement.

Jack Doherty's brother is showing some tough love after he wrecked his car on a Miami highway last week ... saying his Kick ban is actually a good thing, and he needs to learn his lesson.

A group of kayakers who got stranded in rough waters in Maryland needed a helicopter to swoop in and rescue them ... and the daring mission is all on video.

Footage shows a Maryland State Police Aviation Command helicopter airlifting four kayakers to safety Sunday after they got trapped in a rocky area of the Potomac River.

The chopper lowered a rescue basket down to the stranded kayakers, then hoisted them back up and took them to safety on the river's shore.

A Spirit Airlines flight appeared to lose its "spirit" when two women claimed they were booted by a male flight attendant -- for the crime of wearing crop tops.

Friends Teresa and Tara say they boarded their LA-to-New Orleans flight in pants and sweaters, but when they stripped down to cool off, that’s when the male flight attendant allegedly singled them out.

The women told DailyMail.com they asked the male attendant what dress code rule they broke, but things quickly escalated. Before they knew it, they were kicked off the plane.

JD got into a nasty car wreck while on a recent live stream ... and it appears the guy was texting while driving in the rain when it went down.

Here's the deal -- the 20-year-old internet personality was cruising down a slick Miami highway in his expensive whip Saturday morning while on the platform, Kick ... with the beginning of the now-viral moment showing him looking down at his phone while behind the wheel.

Doherty suddenly loses control of the vehicle, screaming as he smashes into a roadside railing -- and his cameraman in the passenger seat, who was capturing the whole thing, begins to moan in pain after the big hit.

There's a bit of panic heard as the camera gets knocked out -- and the aftermath eventually confirms just how bad the crash was.

His cameraman reportedly had some minor damage, with blood spotted on his face -- outlets claim the 2 were sent to the hospital, with the man behind the camera getting some stitches.

BTW, it seems Doherty has been catching heat ever since Saturday's wreck ... with many online pointing out Jack was more concerned about his McLaren than the dude that was with him.

He's since claimed he's banned from Kick since the near-fatal ordeal, too.

A popular social media influencer and OnlyFans model in Australia is finding out the hard way it's not cool to feed the wildlife for clicks ... and it may cost her some dough, 'cause it's apparently illegal there!

Here's the deal ... Jaylie Bonow posted a now-deleted vid of her feeding a chicken -- she claims it was cooked -- to a saltwater crocodile on the banks of the Russell River in Far North Queensland. Turns out ... that is a serious no-no Down Under, and now she's under investigation.

Of course, JB boasted about the experience on IG ... which backfired when it caught the attention of the Department of Environment, Science and Innovation (DESI), which confirmed she was under investigation for the bizarre clout chase stunt, according to Daily Mail.

The agency made it clear last month they were cracking down on people feeding crocs ... 'cause it's not just super dangerous -- it makes them more aggressive and less afraid of humans. She faces a fine of $2,580, per the agency.
