Kim Shattuck -- the lead singer and bassist for The Muffs -- is dead after a two-year battle with ALS.

Kim's husband shared the sad news Wednesday in a social media tribute to his late wife ... saying, "This morning the love of my life Kim passed peacefully in her sleep after a two year struggle with ALS."

Her husband continued ... "I am the man I am today because of her. She will live with all of us through her music, our shared memories and in her fierce creative spirit. I love you always my Kimmy. Thank you for sharing your life with me."

All 3 men arrested in connection with Mac Miller's death have now been indicted, and accused of dealing counterfeit oxycodone that caused the rapper's death.

A federal grand jury handed up the indictments of Cameron Pettit, Stephen Walter and Ryan Reavis in a California federal court. The indictment backs up what TMZ first reported ... that Mac ordered 10 "blues" -- a street term for oxycodone -- as well cocaine and Xanax. Prosecutors say that instead of getting oxycodone on Sept. 5, 2018 ... the pills Mac received were counterfeit and contained fentanyl ... the powerful synthetic opioid 50 times more potent than heroin.

The feds say Mac crushed the pills, snorted them and died.

As we reported ... feds say the deal went down like this: Mac ordered from Pettit, Pettit ordered from Walter ... and Reavis was the mule, delivering the drugs from Walter to Pettit.

Emily Zamourka already got Internet famous after an LAPD officer shared a clip of her singing Puccini last week, but her star's still rising, and now Grammy-nominated music producer Joel Diamond is offering her a recording contract.

Joel's drawn up an offer letter for the Russian-born subway singer, with the hope of creating a "huge classical/EDM crossover hit record for the subway soprano." The deal would be for one initial record entitled "Paradise" ... which would be released on Diamond's label, Silver Blue Records.

Dr. Drew says Aaron Carter's face tattoo immediately reminded him of when Britney Spears shaved her head ... a huge sign Aaron needs hospital treatment, stat.

We got Drew outside Chelsea Studios Tuesday in NYC and he said it's quite possible Aaron's facing serious mental issues similar to what Britney went through in 2007. You'll recall she infamously shaved her head less than 24 hours after leaving a rehab facility.

TMZ broke the story ... Aaron's tattoo artist had to cut off the singer from getting his whole face covered in new ink. The artist, Herchell Carrasco, told us he "genuinely felt he was in a good place mentally to get tattooed." Clearly, Dr. Drew disagrees.

For what it's worth ... Herchell says he only saw Aaron smoke cigarettes and weed, and didn't see him using any other drugs. Nevertheless, Drew says Aaron needs professional help if he's gonna pull through like Britney did -- with help from her dad at the helm of her conservatorship.

Demi Lovato's road to wellness just became a truly spiritual journey for her, 'cause she made a pilgrimage to God's land ... and got cleansed in the same waters as Christ.

The singer posted some incredible photos Tuesday of a recent trip she took to Israel, one of which shows her getting baptized in the Jordan River -- where JC himself was famously dunked by John the Baptist. It clearly meant a lot to Demi too.

She captioned her set, "I am an American singer. I was raised Christian and have Jewish ancestors. When I was offered an amazing opportunity to visit the places I’d read about in the Bible growing up, I said yes."

Demi went on to say that she was overcome with a sense of spirituality and a connection to God by visiting the Holy Land -- something she says she's been missing in her life.

As for the baptism, Demi writes that she's never felt "more renewed." She went on to say, "This trip has been so important for my well-being, my heart, and my soul. I’m grateful for the memories made and the opportunity to be able to fill the God-sized hole in my heart. Thank you for having me, Israel."

As you know, Demi has been on a hiatus from music since her near-fatal overdose in L.A. She's gone to rehab to get better, and even celebrated a year of sobriety in July.

Too Short's got an easy explanation for why he held off on becoming a father until now ... he was too busy pouring his time and energy into hooking up with ladies ... lots of 'em.

The legendary rapper was on "TMZ Live" Tuesday and wasn't the least bit shy about why he waited until the ripe age of 53 to become a father. Too Short point-blank says he was enjoying his celebrityhood and all the trappings that came with it.

Justin Timberlake was ambushed by a notorious prankster Tuesday in France ... and the man's sneak attack outside the Louvre was caught on video.

Justin was walking into Louis Vuitton's Paris Fashion Week show with his wife, Jessica Biel, when Vitalii Sediuk forced his way through the crowd, grabbed Justin's leg from behind and tried to pull the singer down.

JT's security quickly swarmed and broke the man's grasp, but only after Justin got dragged back a few steps.

Justin held Jessica's hand the entire time, and she looked pretty surprised by the ambush. The couple seemed to shrug it off as they continued walking into the event -- and it doesn't look like JT was physically harmed.

Gene Simmons is on a break from rockin' and rollin' all night to deal with some pesky kidney stones -- and he underwent a procedure this week to nip it in the bud.

Sources close to the KISS singer tell TMZ ... Gene was admitted into Cedars-Sinai Hospital early Tuesday morning to undergo a medical procedure that should help get rid of the stones. It's non-invasive, we're told, and only took about an hour to complete.

Our sources say a stent was inserted in his urethra, which helps urine flow from the kidney to the bladder ... ultimately forcing the stones to pass through. Sounds like he'll be peeing 'em out soon.

We're told the stent will be removed in about a week -- and any remaining stones will be removed too. Gene should be good to go at that point.

Grammy award-winning artist Louie Rankin -- famous for his role as Ox in the movie "Belly" -- died in a car crash in Canada ... TMZ has confirmed.

Details are scarce, but Louie died Monday in a fatal wreck in Ontario, Canada ... the crash reportedly involved a transport truck and another vehicle.

Louie starred alongside Nas and DMX in the 1998 crime drama "Belly" ... and his character, Ox, was a Jamaican kingpin.

Nas and Louie became close friends during filming, and the pair reunited years later for a cameo in a DJ Khaled music video for his song, "Nas Album Done."

The tattoo artist responsible for inking up almost the entire side of Aaron Carter's face claims he tried to talk him out of it, but the singer insisted ... and he actually wanted more.

Herchell Carrasco -- known as RockRollG -- tells TMZ ... he booked a tat session with Carter at his home Friday for $3k, but nothing really went according to plan. Herchell says he thought he was going to be adding more art to Aaron's torso -- there was no talk of a face tattoo -- but once Carter got the idea for Medusa ... everything snowballed.

Carrasco tells us Aaron knew he had experience doing face tattoos -- including some on Tekashi 6ix9ine's forehead shortly before he was arrested -- so Aaron got revved up for him to tat up his mug too ... RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE.

Herchell says he and Aaron settled for the side of the face, and he even tried to talk him out of that ... but he says Carter knew what he wanted and ultimately, it's up to the client what they want to do.

Carrasco adds, "Before I tattoo anyone, I take into consideration their mental state ... in Aaron’s case, I assessed the situation and I genuinely felt he was in a good place mentally to get tattooed."

We're told they initially used Rihanna's 2013 Medusa-inspired cover photo for GQ magazine as a guide for a stencil drawing, but then Aaron wanted the pic as his actual tattoo ... so Carrasco reluctantly obliged.

He tells us he did the large tattoo but Aaron wasn't satisfied -- he also wanted "Love" inked under his eye ... because he told Carrasco that's his brand right now.

Our sources say Too Short's girlfriend, Sue, gave birth to their daughter back in December ... and they named their baby girl Yani Shaw.

Phil Collins is living proof his Not Dead Yet tour is an accurate measure of his physical well-being, because he's still kicking after taking a nasty backward fall.

Phil was performing at his Not Dead Yet Tour Sunday night at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC. In between songs, the 68-year-old singer walked over to a chair with an assist from a cane. He was eager to enjoy a front-row seat to his son's sick drum solo.

Problem was ... Phil's momentum took him backward. As you can see and hear in the video ... the audience gasped in shock while stage crew members ran over to help him up.
