Donny Osmond is recreating himself with artificial intelligence ... performing with an A.I. version of his 14-year-old self.

We got Donny in New York City and he told us about his new residency at Harrah's Las Vegas, where he performs his timeless classic "Puppy Love" with his A.I. clone.

Donny first sang the song when he was 14 -- and with some fancy new tech he's able to perform a duet with his past self, which he tells us is like looking in a mirror.

We're told this person told the 911 operator they were worried about his appearance, saying he may have been experiencing a drug overdose.

"American Idol" alum Doug Kiker -- known by the moniker "The Singing Garbage Man" -- has died ... TMZ has learned.

Kiker died Monday, according to his ex-fiancée, Valerie Cook, who tells TMZ she hates that her kids lost their father. An official cause of death has not been determined.

South Korean K-Pop star Wheesung was reportedly found dead inside his home on Monday — and police are investigating whether his death was drug-related.

The body of the singer-songwriter was discovered inside his apartment last evening by Fire Department officials after he went into cardiac arrest, according to the New York Times.

The newspaper said Wheesung — whose real name was Choi Whee-sung — had a history of drug abuse — and investigators with the Seoul Gwangjin Police Station were looking into the possibility he overdosed.

6:42 AM PT -- A rep for Gladys Knight tells TMZ … she came down with the flu last night before the show and was treated in Florida. She was released overnight and is currently headed to her home in North Carolina to rest.

Gladys Knight has caught the bug and was forced to cancel her show in Florida over the weekend.

Florida Theatre President Numa Saisselin delivered the bad news at the last minute ahead of GK’s Saturday night show in Jacksonville. He says Gladys and one of her staff members became sick backstage at the venue and had to be attended to by Jacksonville Fire and Rescue. He says Knight “was smiling and in good spirts when she left the building.”

Theatre officials have not yet determined if the show will be rescheduled or not but said they should know by early next week. “If you are unable to attend a new date, as long as you purchased your tickets from the Florida Theatre or FloridaTheatre.com, we would refund your purchase," they said.
