Former Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell is revisiting that wild onstage brawl at the band’s Massachusetts concert last year ... and he's saying he's sorry, admitting he should’ve handled himself way better.

Perry released a full statement addressing Boston -- where the brawl went down in September 2024 -- and the rest of the world, making it clear he’s remorseful about losing his temper and blowing up the show.

He explained Jane’s Addiction has been the center of his life for decades -- adding that the band, the music, the fans, and their impact on culture mean more to him than he could ever put into words.

He says his goal has always been to give fans the best show possible, but admits they missed the mark in Boston ... adding he’s truly sorry to everyone impacted.

Riri was perched on top of a chair, blocking the view of fans behind her. This created some friction between Rihanna and another person, who supposedly told the icon to sit down so they could see Mariah's performance.

Joe Ely, a country-music singer-songwriter widely admired by artists across a spectrum of genres, has died.

Ely died at his home in Taos, New Mexico, on Monday after suffering complications from Lewy Body Dementia, Parkinson’s disease and pneumonia, according to a statement on his Facebook account. His wife Sharon and their daughter Marie were by his side when he died.

Ely was born in Amarillo, Texas, and he later moved to Lubbock, where he spent his formative years and began his musical career. He formed The Flatlanders alongside Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock, and they released a single album in 1972 before disbanding the following year.

Mariah Carey is going from the Queen of Christmas to Queen of the entire winter ... she's going to perform at the Winter Olympics opening ceremony in February!

The Grammy winner personally made the announcement Monday via Instagram, writing, "CI VEDIAMO A MILANO!" which translates to "See you in Milan."

Mariah accompanied her post with a video -- showing her in a shimmering red gown and diamond necklace -- saying, "Get ready for Milano Cortina 2026. See you at the Stadio San Siro on the 6th of February for the Olympic opening ceremony."

Carl Carlton -- best known for his smash hit "She’s a Bad Mama Jama" -- has died at 72.

The sad news was confirmed by his son Carlton Hudgens II, who announced his dad’s passing on Facebook ... sharing a throwback photo of the late singer and writing, "Long hard fight in life and you will be missed."

The cause of death hasn’t been revealed, but the passing comes six years after the singer suffered a stroke.

Carlton launched his music career back in the '60s, later hitting the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 in 1974 with his cover of "Everlasting Love."

A medical scare briefly stopped the show at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas when All-American Rejects frontman, Tyson Ritter, abruptly cut the band's finale mid-song to help a fan who collapsed in the crowd.

TMZ has obtained video showing the band halfway through "Gives You Hell" inside the packed L.A. Kia Forum, when Ritter suddenly halted the music, grabbed the mic, and pointed toward the pit, alerting security that a woman had passed out and needed help.

In front of thousands, Ritter calmly told the crowd to open space and assist her, then added a little holiday improv, urging someone to get the woman "Twinkies or sugar or Christmas gumdrops or pieces of gingerbread houses" to help her. Ritter also called out, "Are you okay?," checking on her from the stage.

Abraham Isaac Quintanilla Jr., the father of the late Tejano music icon Selena, has died.

His son, A.B. Quintanilla III, shared the shocking news on Instagram Saturday morning, sharing a photo of his dad and writing ... "It’s with a heavy heart to let you guys know that my Dad passed away today."

The cause of death was not immediately shared. The Nueces County Medical Examiner tells TMZ ... they got notification of his death this morning and did not accept jurisdiction, meaning there is no investigation into his death because there is no suspicion of trauma, foul play or something that would raise an alarm about his passing. The body has been released to a funeral home, we're told.

Lady Gaga's tour dancer was dancin' till they were ... accidentally off the stage!

The Grammy winner suddenly brought her Saturday night concert in Australia to a screeching halt after one of her dancers fell off the stage as they were sliding on their legs down the runway. It's all on video -- everyone was strutting down the stage as Gaga sang "Garden of Eden." You can see the dancer, named Michael Dameski, glide right off the end of the stage, made slippery due to heavy rainfall.

Gaga immediately stopped the production to tend to Michael and then led an applause as she confirmed he was A-okay. Those at the venue said on social media she stalled the concert long enough so crew members could find him some shoes with better grip.
