We got the 24-year-old "Calabasas Confidential" star leaving Barney's Beanery in WEHO on Wednesday night, and -- of course -- we had to ask him about his seemingly ongoing fling with 46-year-old Bunnie and their July 4th makeout sesh in Nashville.

Dylan puts it like this ... "Sometimes a cowboy wants to hunt cougars."

The dude was wearing a cowboy hat as he got all philosophical ... and he also told us he's got a lot of love for both Bunnie and her estranged husband, Jelly Roll, and respects that they have "a lot going on right now."

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were seen dining together in Canada just hours before Justin Baldoni spoke out for the first time about the whole "It Ends With Us" scandal.

TMZ obtained photos of Blake and Ryan hanging out on Wednesday afternoon ... with the couple grabbing a late lunch on the rooftop of a Mexican restaurant.

Our sources say Ryan left the eatery first and walked to his vehicle parked in a lot nearby. Shortly thereafter, Blake exited the restaurant with two assistants and waved goodbye to staff before they went shopping in a boutique store.

TMZ has confirmed the lovebirds ordered about 100 pizzas from the beloved NYC eatery, Mama's TOO! ... which our sources estimate could have rung up a bill somewhere between $3,000 and $4,000.
