Selena Gomez Latest Intruder Repeat Offender
Selena Gomez is the latest victim of the revolving door we call the criminal justice system ... because the man who jumped her fence Friday had JUST been convicted and jailed for breaking into her house this past week.
Che Cruz pled no contest this past Wednesday to Unauthorized Entry of a Dwelling -- Selena's home. He was sentenced to 45 days in L.A. County Jail and ordered to stay clear of Selena and her home for 3 years.
TWO DAYS LATER -- because of jail overcrowding -- he was released. He then made a beeline for Selena's Calabasas estate where he jumped the fence and someone made a 911 burglary call. He was arrested for trespassing.
Gotta say ... he's more persistent than Bieber.

Chris Brown Worse Than He Thought FELONY Prosecution Possible
Chris Brown is en route -- a long route -- to Washington D.C. ... and when Con Air finally lands he could face the possibility of PRISON for the alleged D.C. assault.
Prosecutors just filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- in which they say the reason they've taken the case to the grand jury is because they believe they have the evidence to support a felony prosecution.
Chris is currently charged with misdemeanor assault. His lawyer, Mark Geragos, has filed legal docs asking that the case be dismissed on grounds prosecutors misused the grand jury system by simply trying to get a dry run of the trial.
But prosecutors are now firing back ... saying the injuries were serious enough to require hospitalization on the part of the alleged victim, and that could justify a felony if they get more evidence.
Selena Gomez Cops Roll on 911 Burglary Call
1:20 P.M. PDT -- Police tell TMZ the suspect has been arrested for trespassing. It's not known if Selena was at home during the incident.
12:44 P.M. PDT -- Law enforcement tells TMZ the suspect has been detained and is currently being questioned about what he was doing at Selena's home.
Cops swarmed around Selena Gomez' Calabasas home Friday morning after someone reported a suspicious person ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
Someone at the scene tells TMZ ... a man jumped a fence onto her property but it appears he was not a burglar ... more like a trespasser.
Selena has had her problems with unwelcome visitors. A guy was convicted in February after trespassing at her old house. He was sentenced to 120 days in jail.
And on March 31st ... another man was arrested on Selena's property while she was home. The guy rang the doorbell and asked the person who opened the door if Selena was home. He had broken into her guest house and was arrested for burglary and trespassing. It's unclear if he's still in custody.
As for the current incident ... as of the time of this post, no arrests have been made.
Trick Daddy Arrested Enters Mug Shot Hall of Fame
"Take it to Da House" rapper Trick Daddy was busted for allegedly having cocaine and a handgun Thursday night ... and the guy's mug shot is on par with Nick Nolte.
Trick Daddy -- real name Maurice Young -- was NOT having a good hair day when cops stopped him outside his Florida home ... and according to docs, officers told the rapper they had a warrant to search his place.
Cops say they found a gram of cocaine in his nightstand and a 9mm gun under his pillow.
He was booked into jail and later bonded out -- after being charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, and driving with a suspended license.
Now, being honest ... it's a little too thin to top Nolte's mug.

Chris Brown Con Air to D.C. Now Boarding
Chris Brown has just been picked up by federal marshals on what will be one of the longest journeys across the country since the prop plane era ... TMZ has learned.
Sources connected with the case tell us Chris is on his way to a federal holding facility in San Bernardino to begin his long trip to Washington D.C. ... where he will stand trial for assault.
Later today Chris will board a airplane -- guarded by U.S. Marshals and appropriately restrained -- but the flight is NOT a non-stop. In fact, we're told there are so many stops he probably won't get there until Sunday.
We're told all of these flights go through Oklahoma, with stops along the way to pick up other prisoners.
Chris will be in D.C. for a hearing Monday where his lawyer, Mark Geragos, will try to get the charges dismissed because he believes prosecutors inappropriately used the grand jury to gain an unfair advantage in the criminal case.
Now here's the thing. If Geragos loses, Chris will sit in a D.C. jail facility until his D.C. trial kicks off on April 17.
Lenny Dykstra I Was SAVAGELY BEATEN By Cops ... In L.A. County Jail
Lenny Dykstra claims he was beaten within an inch of his life while in custody at L.A. County Jail ... and the former MLB great says his attackers were corrupt cops ... this according to legal docs obtained by TMZ Sports.
'Client List' Star Arrested Goes Ballistic at an Art Festival
Former "Client List" star Colin Egglesfield sounds like he could use a "massage" from Jennifer Love Hewitt ... because he was busted over the weekend after going BALLISTIC at an art show in Tempe, Arizona.
According to Tempe PD, Egglesfield was arrested on Saturday for one count of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal damage. The arrest report says cops spotted Egglesfield knocking over metal stanchions, flipping over a table, and breaking several signs.
He was eventually released after posting $1,000 bond.
There's really not much more to say, so here's a montage of JLH's various outfits on "The Client List."
Chris Brown I'm NOT a Prisoner So Don't Treat Me Like One!
Chris Brown claims it's outrageous that the U.S. Attorney wants to shackle him and haul him on Con Air from L.A. to Washington D.C. for his assault trial later this month ... because he's NOT a prisoner.
Chris' lawyer, Mark Geragos, was in court today arguing his client should be allowed out of L.A. County Jail in a few weeks so he can fly back on his own to face trial in D.C.
Geragos claims in legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- that to put Chris on a Con Air flight would deprive him of his right to spend necessary time with his lawyer so he can prepare for courtroom battle.
The D.C. case is set for trial April 17, and based on what we know prosecutors have problems with the misdemeanor assault charge.
The L.A. judge is noodling on Geragos' request.

Sam Worthington Assault Case Hey Officer, Do You Know Who I Am??
Sam Worthington played the celebrity card when he was arrested for allegedly attacking a photog ... asking the cop, "Have you seen the movie, 'Avatar?'" ... this according to the photog's lawyer.
Photographer Sheng Li was in court this AM ... he's also charged with assault as well as harassment. Sheng's lawyer, Mark Heller, painted his client as the victim of a boorish star, who assaulted his client and then tried robbing him by grabbing his camera and attempting to steal it.
Worthington was not in court ... his case is being handled separately.
It's unclear what Heller is trying to do here -- because if his client really did assault Worthington, it doesn't matter if Worthington tried playing the celeb card.
But the always entertaining Heller knows how to put on a show.

Columbus Short Alleged Fight Victim Refuses to Press Charges Despite Serious Injuries
"Scandal" star Columbus Short's alleged bar fight victim has refused to press charges against the actor -- despite serious injuries to his head and back -- and we're told ... it's all because of family ties.
The victim's lawyer tells TMZ, he's been in contact with Columbus' management to come to some sort of settlement without involving police. We're told the victim has made it clear to investigators he doesn't want the case pursued criminally.
The reason ... the lawyer tells us both men are tight with the same people -- the alleged fight went down at a family member's engagement party -- so the victim wants to resolve this as amicably as possible.
If they end up settling, Short could end up paying a boatload in medical expenses -- we're told the victim suffered a facial fracture and a massive concussion from Short's punch, as well as serious neck and back injuries.
As we reported, Columbus turned himself in to police last week after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
It's possible the criminal case could go forward -- but without the victim's help, it's very unlikely.

Pat Boone Arrest Warrant It's Nonsense ... Who Am I, LiLo?
Pat Boone says the arrest warrant issued against him last week is a case of misinformation, but the old guy proved he's got a good sense of humor about it ... by backing up the bus over Lindsay Lohan.
As TMZ first reported, a judge issued a warrant for Boone's arrest after he was subpoenaed to testify in a case involving a luxury condo on a cruise liner ... but he was a no-show.
Boone tells TMZ his only relationship to the ship is he agreed to be the spokesperson once it launched ... which hasn't happened yet ... and other than that he knows squat about the project.
While he fully intends to show up to court ... Boone says the litigant will "be very disappointed to hear how little I know and it won't help him in any way."
He adds, "Is this the way Lindsay Lohan and Robert Downey got so famous?"
It's a little more complicated, Pat ... but, yeah. Sure.

A "Love & Hip Hop New York" star got sprung from the pokey tonight -- after more than a year -- thanks to his fiancée, who anted up $200,000 for his bond.
Mendeecees Harris got busted back in January 2013 for his alleged involvement in a heroin and cocaine drug ring. He's been in Federal custody -- most recently in a Rochester, NY jail -- ever since his arrest.
Today, a judge agreed to release him on a $600k bond ... and his fiancée Yandy Smith came through with $200k of that.
Mendeecees tells TMZ the first thing he did after getting out of jail was to score some Chinese food and some candy. He and Yandy are currently driving from Rochester back to NYC.
BTW ... Yandy is a true ride or die chick because she's on the hook for that $200,000 if Mendeecees doesn't show for trial.

Selena Gomez New Home Christened w/ First Trespasser Arrest
Selena Gomez's brand new Calabasas home has lost its cherry ... TMZ has learned a man was arrested on the property last night ... while Selena was home!
As TMZ first reported, Gomez recently purchased a 5-bedroom, 7,200 sq. ft. Calabasas mansion for a cool $3 million.
According to law enforcement sources, Selena and a friend arrived home last night and heard a strange noise. We're told Selena called for her security to check it out.
Our sources say before security could investigate, a guy rang the front doorbell, asking if the pop star was home. The friend answered the door and said she wasn't ... and the guy went on his way.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... sheriff's deputies from the Malibu/Lost Hills department arrived a short time later and found the 21-year-old man had broken into her guest house. He was eventually arrested and charged for burglary and trespassing.
He is currently being held on $50,000 bail.

Pat Boone I Can Still Get Arrested in This Town
Pat Boone is wanted in Hollywood again -- a warrant was just issued for the legendary singer's arrest.
Here's the breakdown -- 79-year-old Boone was ordered to appear in court in connection with a lawsuit involving a condo he purchased on a luxury cruise liner.
The company that's building the boat got sued for some of it's investors and lost the case. The judge ordered the company to pay more than $800K in attorney's fees, but the lawyer's haven't gotten their loot.
So apparently the crafty lawyers are trying to get their money from the people -- including Pat -- who bought condos on the ship. The lawyers subpoenaed Pat to court, but he was a no show, so the judge issued the arrest warrant.
As for why Boone missed the hearing -- we're told he's on vacation with his wife in Hawaii.

Chris Brown Ordered Dragged and Shackled To D.C. for Assault Trial
Chris Brown may be yanked out of L.A. County Jail next month, shackled and put on Con Air bound for Washington D.C. ... where he will stand trial for allegedly assaulting a man.
The judge in the D.C. assault case has signed an order -- obtained by TMZ -- commanding the honchos at L.A. County Jail to release Chris to the U.S. Marshal.
The Rihanna judge has already ordered Chris to stay in the slammer until his April 17 D.C. assault trial, but the judge never determined how he would get there.
Even though the D.C. judge imposed the order Wednesday ... it's not a done deal. The Rihanna judge must sign off before the U.S. Marshal is able to grab the singer.
Chris' lawyer, Mark Geragos, opposes the order and says Chris is more than willing to voluntarily fly to D.C.
