We caught up with Teyana at L.A. hotspot Mr. Chow during a pre-Oscars party Thursday ... where she told us she’s nervously planning to write a speech -- "just in case" she wins for her role in "One Battle After Another."

Alan Cumming has officially spoken out about Tourette syndrome activist John Davidson shouting the N-word at The British Academy Film Awards in February ... labeling the annual ceremony a "trauma triggering s***show."

Alan -- who hosted the Feb. 22 show -- shared his apology on Instagram Tuesday ... saying he's sorry for "all the pain Black people have felt at hearing that word echoed round the world" -- and also to the Tourette's community for the onslaught of negative comments due to the world's "lack of understanding and tolerance" about the neurological disorder.

He even directed some shade at the BAFTAs and BBC network, noting ... "We were all let down by decisions made to both broadcast slurs and censor free speech." But he acknowledges "all trauma must be recognised and honoured."

Sean Astin was still riding high directly after last night's Actor Awards ... and he used the adrenaline to make it crystal clear who stole the show in his eyes.

TMZ caught up with the "Stranger Things" actor after Sunday’s ceremony, and he didn’t hesitate ... calling host Kristen Bell his hands-down "favorite" and gushing over her performance like a proud superfan.

Even with that BAFTA slur drama hanging in the air from last week, he says the moment echoed the trauma and themes baked into the film itself.

Michael B. Jordan was cheesin' from ear to ear over that Best Actor win -- and he didn’t waste a second taking the victory lap at The Actor Awards after-party, rolling deep with a swarm of A-listers.

The Netflix-hosted bash was an absolute scene -- Keri Russell was toasting her own trophy, living it up and working the room with "Marty Supreme" costars Odessa A’Zion and Kevin O’Leary.

It turned into a straight-up Hollywood roll call ... "The White Lotus" faves Michelle Monaghan and Aimee Lou Wood making the rounds, while "The Pitt" star Noah Wyle was also out celebrating a big win.

When her name was announced, the audience jumped to its feet in rapturous applause ... and, Seth Rogen -- who won his own Actors Award for "The Studio" -- headed to the stage to accept the trophy on O'Hara's behalf.
