Mariah Carey has a little Cannon ball on the way -- the singer announced this morning that she is pregnant. ... but Mariah also revealed that she suffered a miscarriage roughly two years ago.
Carey -- who appeared with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush on "Today" -- explained, "It's still early, I'm expecting in the spring, I'll say that. I don't want to give too much of like, specific outlines."
After the big announcement, Carey, who was joined by her husband Nick Cannon, also talked about a miscarriage she suffered two years ago ... she was one month into her pregnancy at the time.
This time around, Cannon says the experience is "absolutely emotional" -- adding, "the greatest gift on earth is a child."

Celine Dion gave birth to twin boys today ... a rep for the singer tells TMZ.
We're told she gave birth at 11:11 AM -- and then again at 11:12 AM -- at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL.
One boy was 5 pounds, 4 ounces -- the other was 5 pounds, 10 ounces. We're told they are “100% healthy but will be in an incubator for a few days.”

42-year-old Celine Dion -- who's 8 months pregnant with twins -- has checked into a hospital in Florida this morning in an effort to prevent a premature birth.
A rep for the singer told the AP that Dion is at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla ... and insisted Celine decided to admit herself to ensure that she's around her doctors until the delivery.
Dion and her husband Rene Angelil have one 9-year-old son.
UPDATE: The hospital has released a statement saying they will "enhance" security during Celine's stay ... but insist the family did not pressure officials into making the decision.

But today, Grammer -- who was super chatty with photogs -- said he's "very happy" with the situation and joked, "we wanna keep the baby."
