Brad Pitt and his daughter Zahara enjoyed a quiet afternoon at a friend's birthday party ... that just happened to take place at an über-crowded outdoor mall in Los Angeles.
The party was for rocker Chris Cornell's daughter and was held at the popular American Girl store located in the Grove shopping center.
Next time they should try a less public place ... like Times Square.

Prince Von A-Hole: Brad Pitt Should Play Me in Biopic

Zsa Zsa Gabor's 66-year-old husband -- the eminent Prince Frederic von Anhalt -- already knows who should play him in an upcoming biopic about his socialite wife ... and big surprise ... it's Brad Pitt.
Sources close to the production tell TMZ, the filmmakers originally offered the role to Von A-Hole himself -- but he honorably declined ... in favor of letting Mr. Pitt take the reigns.
As for who will play Zsa Zsa -- we're told producers want a "gold-digger type" ... and so far, the front-runners are Nicole Kidman and Drew Barrymore.
No word on whether Brad Pitt will actually take the part -- but based on the uncanny resemblance (*cough cough) we can't see why on Earth he wouldn't ... that is, if the movie ever gets made.

The ridiculous 18,000 square foot luxury estate in the town of Valpolicella includes two swimming pools, gym, home theater and 15 bedrooms for Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox to fight over.
Luckily, there's still plenty of room should Brad & Angie decide to adopt a small nation.

Brad and Angelina sued 'News of the World' after the paper reported they were splitting and dividing $320 mil.
The story was widely reported (BTW, not by us) online and on TV.
The settlement is for "undisclosed damages."

We're told the fandemonium was too overwhelming for security ... so for everyone's safety production wrapped early.
A rep for the film would neither confirm nor deny the story.
