Mike Vick has a message for his friend, Calvin Pryor -- if you wanna stay in the league, STOP FIGHTING!

Vick and Pryor played together on the NY Jets in 2014 -- and Vick says he's his "little homie" -- so we had to ask about the fight that led to Pryor getting the axe in Cleveland.

MV7 says game week can turn players a little more agro than usual -- but he's gotta temper the temper if he wants to stay employed ... and Vick knows that from experience.

"We take conduct serious, and the coaches I always played for always stressed that," Vick says. "Not under Andy Reid, or Rex Ryan, or Mike Tomlin, or Jim Mora or Dan Reeves."

Tre Mason is laser-focused on leaving his troubled past behind and returning to the NFL ... teaming up with old Auburn teammate Ricardo Louis for major off-season workouts, TMZ Sports has learned.

Mason missed the 2016 season after several run-ins with cops -- including an intense police chase on his ATV. He was released by the Rams earlier this March.

But Louis says Mason is puttin' in work every day to get back in the league in 2017 ... and once Mason finds a new team, Louis expects the running back to pick up right where he left off.

As for Louis, he says he's disappointed in his rookie campaign in The Land and dedicated his off-season to improving every aspect of his game ... and we've got the video.

RGIII says it's up to God whether he'll play NFL football again ... with sources close to the QB saying he believes everything happens for a reason ... including losing his job.

Griffin was cut from the Browns earlier Friday ... and there's been speculation he might not have very many NFL chances left due to injuries and inconsistent play.

We spoke to someone in the QB's inner circle who says although Robert 100% still wants to play ... he's telling people close to him it's all in the hands of the man upstairs.

"He believes in faith and fate. If it's God's plan for him to play again he will."

We just spoke with Joe about the NFL combine -- and asked the 10-time Pro Bowler if Christian's poor strength showing will affect his draft stock.

"As we all know, there's no bench press on the football field," Thomas said ... "For the most part, your film from every Saturday in the Fall is what should matter."

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Corey Coleman has been named in a police report stemming from an alleged fight at an apartment complex on Saturday ... but is adamant he did nothing wrong.

Sources tell TMZ Sports ... Coleman was involved in a massive brawl that broke out in a Cleveland apartment complex around 4 AM on Saturday.

We're told the incident involved 2 groups of people -- Coleman was allegedly part of a 4 person group. The other group had 6 people.

At some point, an argument broke out and it got physical. We're told someone was injured in the melee and was taken to the hospital with bruises and ruptured eardrum.

Coleman's exact involvement is unclear -- but his agent, David Mulugheta, has issued a statement denying wrongdoing.

"Unfortunately Corey Coleman's name has surfaced in a police report concerning an incident that occurred in the lobby of the apartment complex in which he lives," Mulugheta says.

Remember, John Elway has forgotten more about football than you'll ever know ... and he thinks the game will be good to RGIII on Sunday -- saying the Browns QB will "do well" in his first start back.

Elway -- who won two Super Bowls as a player and built a SB winning team as a GM in Denver -- was out in L.A. when we asked how he thought RG3 would fare in his first game action since September.

Griffin threw for just 190 yards and an interception in his last start against Philly ... but John says things will be different this time.

RG3'S WALLET MUST BE AVENGED!!!

The Cleveland Browns are launching an investigation into the pillaging of the QB's wallet -- which allegedly went down after his GF valet parked her car in the "players and family garage" at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Grete Sadeiko claims her wallet -- and RG3's wallet -- were left inside the car and when she returned ... the cash in both wallets had been taken.

Grete tells TMZ Sports she notified the team and was told "they are looking into it and are going to solve the problem."

As if the Cleveland Browns season couldn't get any worse ...

Robert Griffin III's girlfriend claims a valet at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland ransacked the wallets they left in their car during Sunday's game ... and stole all of their cash.

Grete Sadeiko -- who has been publicly dating RG3 since the summer -- said she left her car with a valet in the "players and family garage" to watch the Browns take on the Giants ... and when she returned, the money had been taken out of their wallets.

Grete posted about the alleged incident on Twitter -- and when people began to question why she left their wallets in the car in the first place, she roared back.

"Ain't about why we left wallets in the car we parked in PLAYERS AND FAMILY PARKING GARAGE! I should be able to leave anything I want there."

We've reached out to Cleveland police -- who say they have no record of a report being filed about the incident.

Josh Brown doesn't have a job ... 'cause the NY Giants just announced they've cut the kicker.

In a statement, Giants co-owner John Mara said, “We believed we did the right thing at every juncture in our relationship with Josh. Our beliefs, our judgments and our decisions were misguided. We accept that responsibility."

Last week, police in Washington state released documents connected to Brown's '15 domestic violence arrest -- including his journal -- where he acknowledged having abused his ex-wife.

The Giants quickly moved Brown from the active roster to the Commissioner's exempt list ... before completely cutting ties Tuesday.

NY Giants kicker Josh Brown admitted to abusing his ex-wife, viewed himself as "God" and her as a "slave" and acknowledged a porn addiction ... this according to police documents.

Jay Glazer says he genuinely cares for troubled NFL star Josh Gordon -- and says if there's anyone who can help him deal with his addiction issues, it's his good friend Demi Lovato.

A report that Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon and his posse were stopped by TSA at a Cleveland airport with a pound of weed is completely bogus ... this according to TSA sources.

The original Scout.com report claims Gordon and his security detail were detained at Cleveland Hopkins airport after screeners found the pot in checked baggage. Gordon reportedly denied the pot was his. The report says this was the incident that led to Gordon entering rehab.

But our TSA sources tell us, "The reports you're seeing are totally false."

One highly connected TSA source explains, "Gordon was screened by TSA last night (Thursday) without incident."

The source also says there has been no TSA trouble with Gordon recently. We also spoke with the Cleveland PD which also shot down the report.
