In the week before her death, Chyna recorded several videos of herself for a documentary that was supposed to be about her comeback ... instead, they show just how bad her situation really was.

The videos show a clearly troubled and inebriated Chyna with a bloody gash and severe bruising on her right eye.

We spoke with film maker Rob Potylo who says Chyna insisted the wounds were from a random champagne bottle attack at a liquor store ... but he believes she was injured in a drunken fall and was too embarrassed to admit it.

Potylo says he was extremely concerned when he saw the videos and got in touch with Chyna's attorney to discuss a plan of action to help her out.

In fact, Potylo says Chyn's team had reached out to WWE to help get her into rehab -- but they simply ran out of time. Chyna died as they were working out the details.

Potylo says he now realizes the videos were cries for help -- and feels terrible that they weren't able to save her.

If Justin Bieber's got beef with his fans, he didn't show it as he partied hard in a couple of Boston bars like any other 22-year-old ... who can afford round after round of shots.

After his Purpose concert Wednesday, Justin hit up Storyville nightclub and looked totally comfortable being the life of the party. He was up on the bar doing tequila shots, and didn't mind people taking photos. A rep from 6one7 Productions tells us he racked up about $2,400 worth of tequila and vodka.

Cool moment in the video -- the DJ bumping Justin ... Timberlake, that is.

Biebs started his night at The Tam ... a joint most locals call "a dive bar." We're told he drank Sam Adams, ordered shots of Fireball for a table of guys and girls and was "super nice" to everyone.

Even though his bodyguards made everyone put down their smartphones -- no "zoo animal" pics -- watch this video ... you can tell folks in The Tam treated JB like any other booze hound.

Prince got Percocet from one doctor, who always prescribed the drug under the singer's real name ... sources connected with the investigation tell TMZ.

Our sources say ... so far there is no evidence anyone other than Dr. Michael Schulenberg prescribed drugs for Prince. What's more ... we're told the doctor never wrote prescriptions using a name other than Prince Rogers Nelson.

This is in sharp contrast to Michael Jackson's drug abuse ... we broke the story MJ had scripts written by multiple doctors, and for at least 19 aliases.

Our sources caution there could be other doctors who prescribed meds for Prince outside the Minnesota area ... but so far nothing's come up.

It's an interesting turn, because the DEA monitors over-prescribing of drugs, yet we're told nothing had been flagged. It's evidence that Prince may have developed a sudden, life-threatening spike in opiate use, and it happened too quickly for the feds to notice.

The doctor who law enforcement is targeting in the Prince investigation abruptly left the facility where he practiced ... and no one will say why.

Dr. Michael Schulenberg was at Paisley Park when Prince died, and as we reported, authorities obtained a search warrant to seize the doctor's medical records and, more specifically, prescriptions he wrote for the singer.

As we previously reported, Dr. Schulenberg saw Prince on April 7th and April 20th -- the day before Prince died. He also wrote prescriptions for Prince that were to be filled at Walgreens ... the pharmacy Prince visited 4 times in the last 7 days of his life.

Turns out ... Dr. Schulenberg worked at North Memorial Physicians clinic in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The facility is 10 miles from Prince's estate. A rep from the facility told TMZ ... the doctor left "in the last few days" but would not say if he was terminated or just quit.

Before Dr. Schulenberg worked at North Memorial, we're told he practiced at Ridgeview Hospital and Prince's bodyguard told cops he took Prince to that hospital in 2014 and 2015.

Dr. Schulenberg has a clean record, and even got an MBA in addition to his MD.

The DEA is currently at Prince's Paisley Park home, executing a search warrant, and TMZ has learned there is an active federal investigation into doctors who prescribed meds to Prince ... sources connected with the investigation tell TMZ.

Our sources say the feds are conducting the probe under a series of federal laws targeting doctors who sell prescriptions to drug abusers. Our sources say this is precisely the reason for the investigation.

The laws also outlaw doctors and pharmacies who falsify record or forge prescriptions.

Our law enforcement sources tell us ... there's an additional element ... crossing state lines to violate prescription laws. Our sources say the feds are also looking at the son of the rehab doctor who flew to Minnesota with a backpack full of synthetic opiates. The son, Andrew Kornfeld, was at Prince's home when he died. We're told Andrew is under the federal microscope.

A doctor who treated Prince, wrote him prescriptions and was present at Paisley Park when the singer died has mysteriously left the medical center where he worked.

Cops obtained a search warrant for North Memorial Medical Center where Dr. Michael Todd Schulenberg worked. The warrant asks for all medical records, documents, reports, charts, photos, prescriptions, doctor's notes and medical notes for Prince Rogers Nelson.

According to the warrant, cops interviewed Dr. Schulenberg, who acknowledged he treated Prince twice in April ... the last time the day before he died. The doctor told cops he ran tests on the singer and he was at Paisley Park the day Prince died to drop off the test results.

The doctor also told cops he prescribed medications for Prince, which were supposed to be filled at Walgreens.

TMZ broke the story ... Prince had gone to Walgreens 4 times in the week preceding his death. The warrant mentions the plane trip where Prince OD'd 6 days before his death. We broke the story about the emergency landing and that the drug was Percocet.

Lamar Odom swore to Khloe Kardashian he would not drink or do drugs after he nearly died from an OD last year ... but repeatedly he did not and probably could not keep his word, most recently as today.

Lamar was at the Beverly Center Sunday afternoon. As his friend shopped for shoes, Lamar retreated to a bar inside the mall, and went for the Cognac. He schmoozed it up with a few women, dropped $60 cash and beat a hasty retreat.

TMZ Sports broke the story, on Easter Sunday Lamar hit up a bar hours before going to church with the Kardashians and ordered 3 Remy Martins. Khloe almost immediately threw in the towel.

Chyna was seriously struggling before she died -- so much so, police found her wasted and passed out on the ground outside her apartment building ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement tells us they got a call in November for a woman lying unconscious at 7 AM in Redondo Beach, CA -- and when they arrived, officers found Chyna. We're told she was slurring her speech, had bloodshot eyes and reeked of booze.

Cops say Chyna admitted drinking wine the night before and said she decided to sleep outside because she was struggling with her keys. She was also carrying nearly $20k in cash she says she made at an autograph session.

Paramedics on scene determined she was too drunk to take care of herself, and cops booked her for public intoxication.

Chyna was found dead on April 20. Her cause of death is still under investigation.

The doctor commissioned to save Prince's life treated one of the most strung out rock stars in history.

Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler sought treatment from Dr. Howard Kornfeld in the mid-'90s to kick a vicious heroin habit.

Adler's been open about his demons -- his heroin problem got him booted from Guns N' Roses. In 1996, right around the time he was being treated by Kornfeld, he suffered a stroke from an OD that left one side of his face paralyzed.

We're told Dr. Kornfeld treated Adler with the same synthetic opiate Kornfeld's son carried in his backpack to Prince's home.

Justin Tuck had a reverse Kobe Bryant style retirement Friday -- instead of people showering him with gifts, he was the one doing the giving ... handing out 70 BOTTLES of $200 scotch.

The former NY Giants superstar signed an honorary 1-day contract with the team today so he could retire as a G-Man ... and passed out bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label to 70 people -- media members, coaches and executives.

"I wanted to thank all the people who have had an impact on my career and helped me get to this incredible milestone," Tuck said.

"To recognize their love and support, I’m giving each a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label -- just like I did for my team after winning Super Bowl XLVI in 2012."

Andrew Kornfeld, the man who flew to Prince's home on a thwarted rescue mission that ended with his call to 911, made it clear to a photog Thursday ... he wasn't going to talk about the ongoing criminal investigation into the singer's death.

Andrew's dad, rehab specialist Dr. Howard Kornfeld, got the call from Prince's rep the day before the singer died, pleading with him to come to Minnesota to save Prince from a fatal OD. The doctor couldn't make it but sent his son, who was in the house when Prince was discovered in the elevator.

As we reported, Andrew is under investigation because when cops arrived they found pills -- a synthetic opiate used to treat Percocet addicts -- in his backpack. Andrew, who is not a doctor, is being investigated for the unauthorized practice of medicine.

The photog got Andrew at a nature preserve in Northern California.

We also got video Thursday of Dr. Kornfeld outside his rehab facility, Recovery Without Walls, in Marin County, CA. He was also mum.

Arsenio Hall just clapped back at Sinead O'Connor with a $5 MILLION defamation lawsuit over her claim he was fueling Prince's habit.

His lawyers, Marty Singer and Lynda Goldman, filed the suit Thursday morning, in which Arsenio calls Sinead a "desperate attention-seeker" for posting an incendiary rant on Facebook earlier this week. She called Prince a "longtime hard drug user" who got his supply from "Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince's and Eddie Murphy's bitch)."

In the suit, Arsenio flat out denies ever supplying Prince with illegal drugs -- and adds, he hasn't had contact with Sinead for 25 years. He also denies spiking her with drugs back in the day ... as she claimed.

As for why she targeted him -- Arsenio says she's repeatedly said she met Prince a couple times and she "detested" him. She also says she told Prince "to go f*** himself."

Authorities in Minnesota have made the overprescribing practices of Prince's doctors the focus of their investigation ... sources connected with the case tell TMZ.

We're told the criminal probe has zeroed in on a drug that almost killed Prince 6 days before his death -- Percocet. TMZ broke the story, EMTs gave Prince a "save shot" at the Moline airport after his plane made an emergency landing.

We're told law enforcement in Minnesota is looking at 3 possible abuses ... multiple doctors who overprescribed meds to the singer, aliases the singer and his doctors may have used, and multiple pharmacies that filled the prescriptions.

As we reported, Prince had prescriptions filled at least 4 times in the 7 days before he died, and at least one of the pharmacies was 6.1 miles from his home ... much farther than 8 other drug stores.
