UCLA Players to Diddy Keep Your Millions Justin Earned Scholarship

Published | Updated

Diddy's son might be the RKOC (richest kid on campus) ... but Justin Combs' fellow UCLA student-athletes say daddy big bucks shouldn't have to pay a dime -- because Justin earned his scholarship fair and square.

Diddy's been slammed since it was announced this week his son is getting a full-ride scholarship -- $54,000 worth -- to play football at UCLA. The criticism is that Diddy should foot the bill himself ... leaving the scholarship available for a more needy student-athlete.

However, multiple student-athletes -- some on scholarship, some off -- tell TMZ Diddy's millions are a non-factor because, "If you're good enough to play football that you're getting recruited, it doesn’t matter how much your parents are making."

Another student -- a junior volleyball player -- said Justin "should be able to get [the scholarship] if he's qualified. If he's good enough on field ... I don’t think what his father does should play a role."

Of course, a high school senior struggling to get into college might feel differently.

Matthew Fox Assault Accuser DROPS Her Case

Published | Updated

Matthew Fox is officially in the clear over allegations he assaulted a female bus driver in Cleveland, Ohio last year.

Heather Bormann -- the bus driver -- has dismissed her lawsuit against Fox with prejudice, meaning she cannot file it again.

Her lawyer, J. Norman Stark, tells TMZ, Fox did not pay Bormann a penny by way of settlement. In fact, Stark tells us he actually dropped Bormann as a client recently because she was difficult to deal with.

For his part, Fox dropped his countersuit against Bormann -- in which he had sued her for defamation, claiming Heather made up the whole story.

The dismissal comes the same week Dominic Monaghan claimed that Fox had a history of beating women, something we're told Fox vehemently denies.

Stark, ironically, tells us he believed his client -- that Fox punched her in the vagina -- and says Bormann dropped the case because Fox and his lawyers frightened her with his ability to wage legal war against her.

Pauly Shore I'm DEAD SERIOUS About 'In the Army Now' Sequel

Published | Updated

Suck on THIS a-one time ... Pauly Shore tells TMZ he's in talks with Andy Dick about doing a sequel to their 1994 flick "In the Army Now."

Dick and Shore discussed the idea on Andy's Internet show yesterday ... with Dick saying, "I've always said we should do 'In the Army Again' ... We should rescue Katy Perry from a USO show gone bad or something."

Now, Shore tells us, "Andy has wanted to do it for awhile ... if they put up the money and the studio lets us do it ... I'm down to make it happen!"

Shore tells us ... there is a treatment for the movie (a detailed summary of the story) that's being circulated in Hollywood ... but Pauly hasn't read it yet.

FYI -- the original flick grossed more than $28 mil at the box office ... Shore's 3rd highest grossing film. But despite its cult following, the flick carries a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Yeah, buddy.

But last night in Cannes (on Diddy's yacht) -- we're told Kim actually acknowledged Tara's existence, even speaking to the "American Pie" actress for several full minutes.

And to bring it all full circle -- Paris Hilton was there too!!! But we're told Kim didn't spend much time with her.

So we gotta ask ...

Young Buck won't be a free man much longer -- TMZ has learned the rapper has agreed to serve 18 months in prison for gun possession, following a massive IRS raid on his Nashville home in 2010.

According to the deal, Buck agreed to plead guilty to possessing firearms and ammunition as a convicted felon.

According to legal docs filed in the case, federal agents recovered the firearms in Buck's house during a 2010 raid -- when feds busted into the house to repossess a bunch of the rapper's belongings to settle a $300,000 tax debt.

According to the docs, feds found a .40 caliber Glock 22 in Buck's home along with ammunition. As a convicted felon, Buck is prohibited from possessing ANY kinds of firearms.

As for the felony rap -- Buck was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon after stabbing some guy at the Vibe Awards in 2004.

John Travolta John Doe #2 Now Repped by Gloria Allred

Published | Updated

Gloria Allred is now representing John Doe #2, the masseur who is accusing John Travolta of sexual assault, but it's unclear exactly what Allred is doing with him.

As we previously reported, John Doe #2 fired his lawyer and plans to dismiss his case, which was filed in federal court.

Gloria says, "We believe that the lawsuit should be filed in another court and, therefore, the lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice. We will be conferring with our client regarding what will happen next in this case."

Travolta's lawyer, Marty Singer, tells TMZ, "I'm looking forward to trying the case against Gloria Allred in a court of law, not in the media." Singer told TMZ his client hasn't paid either John Doe #1 or 2 a penny, calling their claims "ridiculous and false."

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Portwood was a no-show at drug court last week ... after telling officials she was on doctor-ordered bed rest following laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. Our sources say Amber's attorney told the court she was ordered to remain in bed for 2-3 weeks.

But here's the rub -- we're told Amber's case manager didn't want to take Amber's word for it ... and spoke to the doctor directly ... who called B.S. on the reality star and insisted she WAS well enough to attend her court obligations.

WWE Star John Cena Files for Divorce

Published | Updated

WWE star John Cena has filed for divorce.

Cena filed the docs in Florida, claiming his marriage to Liz Huberdeau is "irretrievably broken." John and Liz were high school sweethearts but only married three years ago. They have no children.

Now here's the kicker -- Liz has already hired high-powered Miami attorney Raymond Rafool, the same attorney who repped Linda Hogan during her divorce ... and took Hulk to the cleaners.

But it won't be easy -- according to the docs, Liz signed a crippling pre-nup in 2009.

Liz' lawyer has already released a statement, claiming, "Although it is indeed unfortunate that John Cena decided to divorce his high school sweetheart Liz Cena; particularly, after they have come so far in their lives and in his career together, Liz will and really has no choice but to pursue all of her rights and entitlements."

The attorney adds, "Sadly, divorce is not the way Liz thought her perfect love story would end."

12:12 PM -- Liz' attorney tells us, Cena blindsided her with the divorce filing. They had been having issues -- and Cena even approached her recently with a pre-divorce financial settlement agreement -- but Liz refused to sign it, convinced the relationship would still work out.

FYI -- It's not uncommon in celeb divorces to bring up pre-divorce settlement agreements because they help simplify otherwise messy splits.

Michael Jackson Estate JOINS PEPSI! Deal with the Devil?

Published | Updated

Michael Jackson's Estate has just made a huge deal with Pepsi -- the company whose 1984 commercial arguably ruined his life, and some say it's a deal with the devil.

You'll recall, MJ's hair famously caught fire during a pyrotechnic mishap while filming the commercial -- causing severe burns on his scalp that led MJ to become a hardcore prescription drug addict ... and that addiction eventually led him to Dr. Conrad Murray.

The MJ Estate feels Pepsi is the right company to join forces with for a couple of reasons. First, Michael himself worked with Pepsi twice after the incident, once in 1988 and again in 1991, so the singer obviously didn't hold a grudge. And a spokesperson for the estate tells us, "We're here to market the re-release of the 'Bad' album and Pepsi is the most effective place to do it."

But lots of people blame the Pepsi shoot for putting MJ on a drug-fueled path of self-destruction -- including one of the singer's former managers Frank Cascio, who said MJ was introduced to Demerol (a heroin-like opioid) following the accident ... to help deal with the pain.

The Jackson/Pepsi promotion will vary country-to-country -- but will include a TV commercial, special edition cans with Jackson's image, and chances to win downloadable remixes of Jackson's songs.

Guy Fieri Cops FOUND My Stolen $200k Lambo!!

Published | Updated

Guy Fieri had a GREAT weekend ... 'cause cops finally recovered the chef's missing yellow Lamborghini ... after it was jacked in a "Mission Impossible" style heist last year.

Guy last saw his 2008 Lambo Gallardo -- worth roughly $200k -- in March 2011 ... when some crook went into the British Motor Car Distributors dealership in S.F. ... rappelled down from the roof ... slithered through a window and sped off with the ride.

Pretty bad ass, right?

But this weekend, the Marin County Sheriff's Dept. made a HUGE break in the case ... when they arrested a 17-year-old boy on a gun charge ... and decided to search a storage unit that belonged to him.

When cops opened up the unit ... they found the Lambo. We're told the 17-year-old is a "person of interest" in the theft ... and the case is still under investigation.

Law enforcement tells TMZ ... the car is currently being held by the Sheriff's Dept. because it is considered evidence in the case ... but a judge could release the vehicle back to Guy in the near future.

TMZ spoke with Fieri ... who told us, "I would like to thank the Marin County Sheriff's office and the Mill Valley Police Department for their hard work and effort in the recovery of my car."

He added, "I'm glad we can put this behind us, and feel better knowing that justice is being served."
