Joey Chestnut just announced he'll be competing in the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest this year ... officially ending his beef with the annual Fourth of July tradition.

"I'm thrilled to be returning to the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest," Jaws said minutes ago. "This event means the world to me. It’s a cherished tradition, a celebration of American culture, and a huge part of my life."

As we previously reported, the world's most popular eater did not participate in the 2024 contest due to his sponsorship with Impossible Foods ... with Chestnut and Major League Eating disagreeing on whether it went against the rules.

Summer’s heating up, and celebs are bringing the fire -- flipping burgers, soaking sun, and grilling their way into full vacation mode!

"If they're talking, that's a good thing," Bertoletti said. "And I think it's a better competition overall if he's there."

As protests against ICE raids have continued in Los Angeles this week -- sometimes violently -- one particular cop was singled out for ridicule as he stood in riot gear with his squad on the street.

Viral video circulating online shows the moment two protesters in the downtown crowd appear to recognize an LAPD officer as a frequent customer at CAVA, a Mediterranean-style fast-casual restaurant chain, where they claim to work.

The two young adults immediately start hazing the cop with hateful comments, who stands stoically ... as the young lady lists the details of the guy's counter order, and says he's always asking for a discount.

Joey Chestnut could very well make his return to Coney Island on the Fourth of July -- the world's greatest eater is currently in talks with organizers to compete in the Nathan's Hot Dog contest this year.

TMZ Sports is told Jaws and Major League Eating are actively negotiating to get the 16-time champion back doing what he does best on Independence Day ... and from the sounds of it, both sides want to get it done.

We're told the initial rift that caused Chestnut's absence from the 2024 contest -- his sponsorship deal with Impossible Foods -- is not a factor in discussions.

Kesha dropped to her knees mid-show in London and acted out a seriously X-rated act -- and let’s just say, fans had some serious peelings about it.

The singer took things to a whole new level at the UK’s Mighty Hoopla Festival -- mid-performance of her new track "Boy Crazy," she provocatively went to town on a banana held between a male dancer’s legs.

The vibes were downright NSFW -- Kesha rocked a red latex bodysuit and knee-high boots as she took some very suggestive bites, clearly mimicking oral sex. Meanwhile, the dancer leaned back in pure ecstasy, fully committing to the fantasy.
