Washington D.C. police are on the hunt for security video that could prove to be the smoking gun in the Chris Brown assault case ... and the people who make your money may hold the key.

We've learned ... Metro Police have contacted businesses near the spot where Brown allegedly punched a guy in the face ... to see if security cams caught the fight on tape. But so far they've come up goose eggs.

Sources tell us ... the W Hotel -- where the fight occurred --- has cameras ... but they were not pointed in the direction of the melee. And we're told cops also struck out at a neighboring restaurant.

But ... our sources tells us the U.S. Dept. of Treasury -- located directly across the street from the hotel -- has numerous cameras attached to the building that could have captured the scene. Any video from those cameras would be in the hands of the Secret Service ... which handles security.

Deion Sanders will get a slap on the wrist ... for the violent physical confrontation he had earlier this month with a school official in Dallas ... TMZ has learned ... but Deion tells us his fight for justice isn't over.

According to police documents obtained by TMZ ... Sanders was given a Class C citation for misdemeanor assault -- the lowest level of misdemeanor that carries no jail time but is punishable by a fine of up to $500.

As we've reported ... Deion locked horns with Prime Prep Academy official Kevin Jefferson during a heated faculty meeting. Sanders -- who co-founded the school -- insists he never assaulted the guy but admits there was a confrontation.

In his statement to police ... Jefferson says Sanders got in his face and "grabbed [him] by the collar and pushed him into the wall hurting the right side of his back" ... before other staff members stepped in to stop the fight.

According to Dallas PD ... Deion now has two choices -- he can either pay the fine – or contest the assault citation in Dallas City Court.

Deion is choosing door number two. He tells TMZ, "I'm glad to go to court with several teachers who witnessed the non-assault."

Chris Brown hopes his stint in rehab for anger management may help him dodge a bullet in the Rihanna probation case ... but our sources say probation officials see right through what he's trying to do.

Sources connected with the L.A. County Probation Dept. tell TMZ ... probation officials think Brown's violent outbursts have escalated and checking into a rehab facility now is "too little, too late."

The Probation Dept. is aggressively investigating last weekend's incident in Washington D.C. where Chris was arrested for assault. As we first reported, probation officers interviewed Chris on Monday, hours before he checked himself into a Malibu rehab joint.

One source familiar with the case tells TMZ, "Probation is gunning for this guy. They're embarrassed by what he's done over the last 2 years and they've had it."

The Secret Service -- charged with protecting the President of the United States -- could end up protecting Chris Brown from being sent to prison ... TMZ has learned.

Here's what we know. According to official D.C. documents -- obtained by TMZ -- a witness to the fight early Sunday morning told cops he heard the alleged victim tell a D.C. cop Brown NEVER HIT HIM.

The cop later DENIED ever even speaking with the witness in question. But get this. A Secret Service agent -- who was on duty and in uniform patrolling the streets near the White House -- made contact with D.C. police and told them he happened to be around when the victim told the cop Chris never struck him. The agent says he absolutely heard the victim's admission to the cop that Chris never struck him.

This is doubly helpful for Chris. The Secret Service agent's testimony could destroy the credibility of the alleged victim and cause prosecutors to drop the misdemeanor assault case.

It could also save Chris from the more serious probation revocation in the Rihanna case -- and remember, if the judge revokes Brown's probation, he could go to prison for 4 years.

Colorado Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov showed no mercy during his alleged attack on his girlfriend this week -- his GF not only told police he kicked her ... she says he stomped her, dragged her around by the hair ... then said he'd beat her more if he could.

The alleged domestic violence incident occurred on Monday -- according to the Denver police report, Varlamov came to his girlfriend's house and assaulted her, kicking her in the chest and knocking her down.

Once on the floor, his girlfriend claims he stomped her chest, then grabbed her hair and dragged her out of her bedroom.

Still holding her hair, the GF says Varlamov pushed her face to the floor and told her (in Russian) that if this were Russia, he would have beat her even more. It's unclear what, if anything, provoked the argument.

The GF was interviewed by police yesterday, and the detective observed bruising on the girlfriend's arm and hip.

An arrest warrant was subsequently issued for Varlamov, but he has already turned himself in to authorities. He has since been arrested.

Crazy scene outside a West Hollywood nightclub last night -- "Shahs of Sunset" star Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi went ballistic, claiming some girl inside the club hit her sister in the face.

It's unclear what happened before GG's outburst outside Hooray Henry's, but her sister Leila (the alleged victim) cared more about getting GG out of there than exacting her revenge.

Our guess ... alcohol probably played a big role here ... annnnnnd it's totally worth watching.

Chris Brown will spend up to 3 MONTHS in a Malibu rehab joint for his anger problems ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the singer tell TMZ ... there has been no firm decision on the precise length of time Brown will stay, but everyone in Brown's camp -- including Brown himself -- is open to as much as 3 months.

One source put it this way ... "The rehab facility has been told to take him [Brown] apart and put him back together."

As TMZ first reported ... Brown is specifically getting treatment for his anger problem, which manifested itself last weekend when he was arrested for allegedly punching a guy in the face.

And, as we previously reported, Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, knows it's very likely the judge in the Rihanna case will revoke Brown's probation, which could put him behind prison bars for up to 4 years. The rehab move is an act of good faith, showing Brown is dealing with his problems.

Guy Fieri got into a nuclear fight with his hairdresser Saturday ... and it was caught ON VIDEO.

The video -- obtained by TMZ -- shows Ariel Ramirez punching Guy through the open door of the SUV, swearing at him. You also see Guy kicking him. Ariel is so mad, he cries uncontrollably during the fight.

Although you don't see how the argument ends, we're told Guy threw Ariel out of the SUV. Guy's manager then jumped out and he took Ariel home by cab.

Sources close to Guy tell TMZ ... They were coming from San Francisco International Airport, where they had just landed. We're told they had all been drinking on the flight and used a car service to take them home.

As for how the argument happened ... we're told it was about nothing. One source said, "It was just dudes being dudes." It escalated into a physical fight.

A rep for Guy tells TMZ, "A bunch of guys were messing around. Things got a little out of hand, but they're all good now."

Chris Brown has just entered a rehab facility for anger management issues ... presumably to deal with his temper problems and to blunt a possible prison sentence.

Sources tell TMZ ... Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, just dropped him off at a facility in Malibu. The move doesn't come a day too soon.

We've learned the L.A. County probation department is going full bore in its investigation to determine if Brown violated his probation in the Rihanna case by getting arrested in D.C. over the weekend ... after allegedly punching a guy in the nose.

Sources tell TMZ, Brown flew to L.A. after getting released from the D.C. jail and met with L.A. County Probation Department officials today.

We're told it's likely the Probation Department will determine that Brown violated his probation, and a judge could sentence him to as much as 4 years in prison.

Along with Geragos, we're told his mom and GF Karrueche accompanied Chris to the facility. Geragos and the others went to dinner after dropping Chris off. We asked him about Chris, but he wanted to talk about his meal (see video below).

The rehab move could show a measure of good faith and contrition.

Camille Grammer wants ex-BF Dimitri Charalambopoulos arrested and prosecuted for allegedly beating her to a pulp ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell us ... Camille filed a formal complaint with the Houston PD ... after Dimitri allegedly grabbed her, beat her, pulled her hair out and cut off her air supply during an argument that turned violent on October 16. Camille had just gotten out of the hospital after undergoing cancer surgery.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Houston cops are investigating and interviewing witnesses. It's unclear why Dimitri wasn't arrested the day of the incident, but we're told he had left the hotel by the time cops arrived and he's now in Dallas.

As TMZ first reported ... Camille got a restraining order Tuesday to keep Dimitri away, but she wants more ... she wants him prosecuted for domestic violence.

Camille Grammer just got a restraining order against her boyfriend, claiming he brutalized and terrorized her in a hotel room, leaving her bruised and battered.

In her declaration, filed by attorney Larry Stein and obtained by TMZ, Camille claims on October 16, she was in a Houston hotel room with boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos ... recovering from cancer surgery just days before.

At 1:30 AM Camille says a woman started texting Dimitri and ended up calling him and screaming.

The phone call triggered an argument between Camille and Dimitri. She claims at that point he grabbed her by the hair, twisted it around his hand and repeatedly pulled her head into the bed and its headboard. She says he pulled out clumps of her hair in the process.

Camille says she tried to call for help, but Dimitri smashed her iPhone.

But it didn't end there. Camille claims Dimitri "squeezed my nose between his finger and pushed upward forcefully, covering my mouth in an attempt to silence me to prevent me from breathing."

Camille also claims Dimitri wrestled her on the hotel bed, "repeatedly slamming my head and face into the furniture and completely immobilizing me." She claims he said, "I wanna smash your head in. I'll give you a reason to call the cops."

Camille says the abuse went on for 40 minutes to an hour as she feared for her life and begged him to stop.

She says as Dimitri was about to leave he said he would knock her out if she moved from the bed.

Camille, who claims she felt Dimitri would kill her, ended up bruised and battered.

A judge just granted a temporary restraining order ... ordering Dimitri to stay 100 yards from Camille and her 2 kids.

Mike Tyson is worried about Chris Brown ... he thinks the pop star is too violent ... and if he doesn't cut the crap, CB is going to pay a very serious price.

Tyson was a guest on the 95.5 PLJ Morning Show this morning ... when the gang asked if Mike, who's battled anger issues in the past, had any advice for Chris -- and Tyson delivered.

"I like and admire that little guy," Tyson said ... adding, "I'm just worried about him."

Tyson says he knows from experience that if Chris doesn't learn to control his rage issues, people will turn on him -- and "they're gonna put him somewhere where that's all they do is assault people."

We're guessing he means prison.

Chris Brown just got cut a big break ... the assault charge has just been reduced from a FELONY to a MISDEMEANOR ... and Chris pled not guilty. Chris has just been released without bail. He's also required to stay 100 yards away from the victim.

Chris had been ordered to take a drug test, but the judge just vacated that order. It's standard in such cases to order a drug test, but that has been cancelled.

The bodyguard's charge was also reduced to a misdemeanor.

TMZ broke the story ... Brown was arrested for felony assault early Sunday morning in Washington D.C. after allegedly attacking a man outside a hotel and breaking his nose.

Brown allegedly got into an argument with a man, said "I'm not down with that gay s**t, I'm into boxing," and then punched him in the nose.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the fight started when the man and his friend photobombed Chris, who was posing for a picture with two girls.

Sources close to Chris insist the fight wasn't over a photo -- they say the alleged victim tried to force his way onto Chris' tour bus, and Chris was merely trying to stop a trespass.

Brown has been in custody since the incident.

3:45 PM PDT: TMZ has just obtained witness statements, some of which conflict. Chris DENIES punching the victim. According to Chris' statement, he claims he was on his tour bus when the victim tried getting on and his bodyguard "handled it."

The victim says he was trying to get a pic with Chris and Brown allegedly said, "I ain't down wit that gay s**t." The victim told cops he responded by saying, "Why you hoing?" Chris then said, "I feel like boxing." The victim says Chris then threw the punch and the victim says he then squared off with Chris and then the bodyguard also hit the victim in the face.

According to the victim, after the bodyguard punched him, Chris got BEHIND the bodyguard and screamed, "Yeah, walk away."

The police say the victim was treated for a fractured nasal bone.

The wheels of justice are turning quickly for Chris Brown ... we've learned the L.A. County Probation Dept. has launched an investigation into Chris Brown's D.C. arrest to determine if it constitutes a violation of his probation in the Rihanna beating case.

We've learned -- and this is pretty ironic -- the Probation Dept. found out about the arrest from Chris' lawyer, Mark Geragos. We're told Geragos called Probation Sunday morning -- hours after the arrest -- to inform them of what went down.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Probation officials have been in contact with D.C. authorities. Probation investigators will conduct their own investigation, and determine if there's good reason to believe Brown committed a crime when he allegedly punched a man in the nose Sunday morning.

Chris Brown did not throw the first punch in the fight that landed him in jail -- at least that's what an initial draft of the police report stated, and even though it's since been corrected ... the mistake could work in Chris' favor.

Sources connected with the case tell TMZ ... the first version of the police report described Chris' bodyguard as the person who threw the punch that broke the alleged victim's nose -- and further states Chris only jumped into the fight afterward.

TMZ has reviewed the initial version of the report and we also obtained a revised copy ... which now states Chris landed the bone-crushing blow.

Chris' attorney could make hay of the mixup, and the correction.

We're also told police videotaped Chris, the bodyguard, the alleged victim, and other witnesses describing who hit whom during the melee. Law enforcement sources say they believe some of the people on tape may be shading the truth or outright lying, so the confusion may be a bonus for Chris.

Chris Brown was arrested in Washington D.C. this morning for FELONY assault after allegedly attacking a man outside a hotel ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... at around 4:30 AM Brown got into an argument with a man outside the W Hotel on K Street and allegedly punched him once in the face. We're told the alleged victim never threw a punch.

The alleged victim tells TMZ ... he and a friend were hanging out at the W when they saw 2 women about to take a picture with Brown. The victim -- who says he's not a Chris Brown fan -- says he and his buddy photo bombed the 2 women and Chris went nuts, punching him in the face and BREAKING HIS NOSE. He went to the hospital and says he may need surgery as early as tomorrow.

Law enforcement sources and the alleged victim tell TMZ ... before striking the man, Chris said, "I'm not down with that gay s**t, I feel like boxing." After Chris punched the man, the fight was taken to the ground.

Sources connected with Chris tell TMZ ... the alleged victim is full of BS. He was NOT trying to take a pic with Chris ... he was trying to get on Chris' tour bus, and Brown was simply trying to stop a trespass. The sources say before the incident the 2 girls tried to get on the bus but they were stopped, and that's when the victim and his friend made their move.

Law enforcement sources say Chris did not appear to be under the influence of anything.

Chris and his bodyguard -- who was also arrested -- will stay in jail today. Under DC law Brown can't get bail so he'll appear before a magistrate Monday, and until then he'll stay behind bars.

The alleged victim tells TMZ he doesn't understand why Brown was "so homophobic" to hurl such a slur. And get this ... the victim says he would have accepted an apology at the scene, but now he will absolutely press charges -- and he's already hired a lawyer.

Brown is still on probation in the Rihanna beating case and this could be grounds for violating his probation -- which means he could be sentenced to prison for nearly 4 years ... worst case scenario for him.

Before the incident, Chris had been hosting a party (pic below) at the nearby Park and 14th nightclub.
