According to the docs, Shelley wrapped herself around her and Barrow's child to try to calm him down ... and then was inadvertently struck.

The docs state Barrow's other, older son "witnessed his mom on the ground" and Barrow "punching his younger brother," so he raced in and wrestled with Barrow before the ex-New York Giant was ultimately arrested for his alleged behavior.

Former NFL linebacker Micheal Barrow -- a second-round pick in the 1993 draft -- was arrested on Tuesday after cops say he inadvertently hit his wife during a wild family dispute at an airport.

Ricky Pearsall and Brian Robinson Jr. have quite the unique bond -- they are both victims of gun violence ... and the San Francisco wide receiver said the two recently shared their experiences after the running back was recently traded to the 49ers.

Pearsall opened up about the conversation he had with his new teammate in an interview with talkSPORT ... saying they spoke about the topic once the Washington Commanders traded Robinson, their 2022 third-round draft pick, to the Bay Area.

It wasn't the College Football National Championship, but the TCU Horned Frogs were living it up in the locker room after spoiling Bill Belichick's college football debut Monday night ... with even Belichick's girlfriend Jordon Hudson catching strays during the postgame celebrations.

Footage from the postgame shin dig began circulating not long after the clock hit triple zeros in the Horned Frogs' 48-14 win over the Tar Heels. The moment that really caught the internet's attention came on a live stream courtesy of TCU's Bud Clark, who said, "Belichick gotta call his girlfriend."

A woman who dialed 911 to report a domestic incident involving Ryan Crow claimed during the emergency call she saw the Miami Dolphins coach "choking" a woman.

The witness told authorities, according to 911 audio obtained by TMZ Sports, she observed Crow and an unidentified woman getting into it at an apartment complex in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. at around 11:45 PM on Aug. 28.

"A guy started choking his girl outside," the caller said. "And then they went back inside upstairs to the floor and we heard him slam her."

Even Bill Belichick's No. 1 cheerleader Jordon Hudson couldn't save his painful University of North Carolina head coaching debut as the Tar Heels lost to the TCU Horned Frogs Monday night ... and fans are having a field day cracking jokes online.

The Tar Heels took the L against Texas Christian University 14-48 after months of media scrutiny over the legendary football coach's relationship with the much-younger beauty queen, who supported him in a suite alongside former NFL star Randy Moss.

The game actually started off hot for UNC -- they scored a touchdown on their opening drive. But, TCU quickly took over the game -- and fans are throwing red flags all over Bill and his brunette beauty.

Florida State University is in shock after freshman linebacker Ethan Pritchard was shot while visiting family in Florida.

The school said the college freshman was rushed to a local hospital Sunday night and remains in the ICU in “critical but stable” condition. The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office told WCTV the shooting happened before 10 PM near the Havana Heights Apartments, where Pritchard was found shot inside a vehicle before EMS rushed him to the hospital.

"The Pritchard family is thankful for the support from so many people, as well as the care from first responders and medical professionals, and asks that their privacy be respected at this time," the Seminoles said in a statement.

The team's coach Mike Norvell said at a press conference Sunday this was a tragic event and their thoughts and prayers are with Ethan and his family. He said he visited Ethan and his family in the hospital Saturday night and is grateful for the medical professionals taking care of him.

If Colin Kaepernick wants to put some tape together for an NFL return, there's one league open to giving him that platform -- 'cause UFL exec Doug Whaley says if the quarterback came calling, they'd listen.

Whaley -- the UFL's senior vice president of player personnel -- spoke with TMZ Sports this week ... right ahead of the 2025-26 NFL season, which will mark nearly nine years since Kaepernick last played in the league.

The UFL (United Football League) has built a reputation for giving players and coaches a platform to develop their way to the NFL. So, we asked whether Kaepernick -- who hasn't played since his national anthem demonstration -- would be welcome to go a similar route.
