Obama Calls Kanye a 'Jackass' The Audio

Published

TMZ has obtained the audiotape of President Barack Obama calling Kanye West a "jackass" for hijacking Taylor Swift's acceptance speech during the VMAs.

The audio was recorded just before Obama went on camera to do an interview with CNBC. Before the interview began, Obama -- referring to Kanye's antics on stage -- said "I thought that was really inappropriate," then adding, "He's a jackass."

After making the remarks, Obama said "Where's the pool?" Presumably, he was worried the joke would go wide. He noted the last time that happened, he got burned for killing a fly.

Obama said, "Cut the President some slack."

Bam to Wife -- We Can Work It Out

Published | Updated

Bam Margera has found a more effective way of dealing with his marital problems than going on a four day bender: Marriage counseling and meds.

The "Jackass" star, who was recently hospitalized with "dehydration" after a drinking binge, says he's been trying to work it out with wife Missy -- and she's forced them into couples counseling twice a week.

Bam also tells us Missy "thinks I have a split personality, like Jekyll and Hyde" and he has been taking the antidepressant Lexapro to control his "mood swings."

He says, so far, the counseling is working.

Bam 'Dehydrated' from a 4 Day Bender

Published | Updated

We just spoke to Bam Margera who said he was rushed to the hospital Sunday after a four day drinking binge -- not because of a possible drug overdose.

The "Jackass" star blames the "4-day bender" on marital problems, telling us "I may get a divorce ... booze helps."

TMZ also spoke to Bam's mother -- who told us Bam's wife Missy called 911 because she was worried about his health after learning that he popped an Ambien during the drinking bender.

Margera says his kidney and leg muscles were a mess from not eating or drinking enough water -- but the hospital flushed out his system and he was released to his home after speaking to a psychiatrist.

Now, Bam claims he's in good health and he even sent us this photo -- taken after he was released from the hospital -- to prove it.

Bam's Mom He Was 'Severely Dehydrated'

Published | Updated

April Margera just called into WMMR radio in Philadelphia to explain why a 911 call for a "possible overdose" was made for Bam yesterday.

April -- who just got back in town from a vacation -- said Bam had been filming for the MTV show "Nitro Circus" and had become "severely dehydrated." She said when Bam films stunts for shows like "Nitro" -- which is just like "Jackass" -- he forgets to take care of himself and doesn't eat enough.

April also said "basic partying" played a factor and she heard Bam walked to the ambulance on his own power.

As we first reported, Bam was taken to the hospital yesterday at around 1:30 PM.

Wee Man might be facing a regular-sized butt whooping.

Let us tell you a little story. Wee Man, of "Jackass" fame, is pissed off at Vegas performer Wee Matt. Wee Man claims Wee Matt has been telling people he's him -- not for money, but for chicks. Now Wee Matt is pissed at such an accusation and wants to fight Wee Man for a little honor.

Wee Matt, through Vegas impresario Jeff Beacher, is challenging Wee Man to a fight -- for $100,000. The proposed bout would take place at Beacher's Madhouse in The Mirage Hotel on Halloween. We're hearing both sides have agreed verbally, but nothing is down on paper yet.

Jackass Admits He Was a Jackass

Published | Updated

TMZ has learned that professional jackass Steve-O has fessed up to felony coke charges -- he just changed his plea to guilty in an L.A. court.

Jackass Admits He Was a Jackass

His lawyer Barry Sands tells us that O-town decided to change his plea after making a deal with the judge: If he enrolls in a narcotics program and stands "on good behavior" -- that's probably complicated when you're talking about Steve-O -- the case will get tossed.

Steve-O's got 48 hours from today to enroll in the program -- clock's tickin'.

Bam: Vito's the New Kobe

Published | Updated

It's hard to be taken seriously when you've got a tattoo of two animals humping on your leg, but former "Jackass" star Bam Margera tried anyway.

TMZ caught the bad boy skateboarder outside of Koi last night, where he had a cute little dinner date with legend Tony Hawk. Bam tore into lawyers going after his uncle, Don Vito, who is accused of fondling three girls between the ages of 13 and 15, during an appearance at a Colorado mall last year. "These small town lawyers, they want to get their names in the paper .... It's like the Kobe Bryant thing," Bam said. The daredevil added, "But it's done now, so cheers to Vito."

What Bam didn't realize is that Don's drama is far from over. Yesterday, Vito was released on bail yesterday after forking over $50 grand, but he's definitely not in the clear. He'll be back in court on October 22, when the trial is scheduled to resume.

Steve-O and Trishelle Play Doctor

Published | Updated

Is there a doctor in the house? TMZ caught up with Dr. Steve-O and beautiful "Real World" Nurse Trishelle, after their Laugh Factory gig last night. Jackass Steve-O took a page from the Michael Richards book-o-laffs and called himself -- not the audience -- the n-word during his act. "I would never call anybody that word, except myself, man," explained the stoney doofus.

So what's the diagnosis? "Medically speaking, I need to go take some bong hits," said Steve-O, who proved once again, that pot does not make you funny.

Bam Looks Like a Jackass

Published | Updated

Either Bam Margera got caught under a flight of pigeons ... or he's the messiest painter alive.

We aren't sure why Bam rocked the "I just lost a paintball fight" look, but if you saw "Jackass: Number Two," perhaps you can imagine what crazy stunt he attempted that created this splattered fashion faux-pas. Whatever it was, we hope someone caught it on tape.

Bozo the Jackass?

Published | Updated

Long before Steve-O first stapled his scrotum to his leg, the "Jackass Number 2" star was actually juggling balls -- instead of inflicting pain to them. Seriously.

TMZ has obtained a photo of Steve-O, aka Steven Gilchrist Glover, during his training at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College back in 1997. Steve-O was one of only 33 people accepted into the program to which over 2000 applied. After graduation, Steve-O the Clown went on to an illustrious career as a performer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Good thing he picked up that stapler.

Steve-O Does Comedy -- Without Injuring Himself

Published | Updated

TMZ fav Steve-O is capable of making us laugh in a multitude of ways -- and yes, most of them involve bodily harm. But now Steve-O is taking a crack at a safer form of comedy: stand-up.

"I just had a really big movie come out, and I'm trying to think, 'What do I next?'" Steve-O told the crowd at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood last Friday, where is he is known to take the stage from time to time. "I feel like I'm scrambling for any kind of career other than breaking bones and shoving s**t up my a**."

In his act, he talks about the rap song he recorded with Psychic Realm, which TMZ posted and allowed users to vote on -- 98% of readers thought the song was "dope." But apparently those results could be tainted: "I got all my MySpace friends, I'm like, 'Vote for me! Vote me dope!'"

Steve-O even reads off various comments TMZ readers wrote about him, including, "Steve-O should stick to stapling his balls to his leg."

Seems like he may have a career beyond that now.

Now in Theaters ... "JackBUTT Number Two"

Published | Updated

Apparently letting leeches suck on your eyeballs and using a human as shark bait doesn't sit well with the people of Orange City, Iowa.

A friend there sent us the picture below with the following account:

Attached is a picture we took just today at the theater here in Orange City. It appears that someone in the community complained to the theater manager regarding the new "Jackass" movie, so look at how they changed it!!

We're guessing Orange City is the type of city that "Footloose" was based on.

More "Jackass" Than You Can Shake a Stick At

Published | Updated

Admit it... you just can't get enough of "Jackass." You have every episode of the TV show on DVD and you were first in line to see both "Jackass" flicks. Never fear, there's plenty more where that came from.

An insider at Paramount Studios tells TMZ that they have so much video featuring Chris Pontius, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Margera and the whole crew that they will be releasing never before seen scenes straight to DVD on "Jackass 2.5." The studio was also so thrilled with the huge success of "Jackass Number Two" -- which took in $51.5 million in its first two weeks of release -- that they have greenlighted "Jackass Three" and are speeding up production on that release.

Thank god... and you thought you'd have to wait forever to see Steve-O be used for bait.
