Bryant Gumbel is currently hospitalized in NYC after some sort of "medical emergency" ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us, the former "Today" cohost was transported Monday, just after 9 PM, from his Manhattan apartment building.

We're told first responders had Bryant on a gurney, as they left the building and took him to a nearby hospital where he remains as of Tuesday afternoon.

Russell Wilson took aim at Sean Payton on Tuesday ... blasting his former coach for some postgame comments he made on Sunday -- all while referencing "Bountygate."

The New York quarterback fired away at Payton on his X page ... just two days after the Denver head man told reporters he was disappointed the Broncos had to face off with Jaxson Dart -- and not Wilson while at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium.

Payton seemed to indicate Russ would be a much easier assignment ... and the words clearly ticked off his former signal-caller.

Brendan Allen isn't mincing his words after pulling off a short-notice upset win against Reinier de Ridder ... telling TMZ Sports his opponent's team wasn't responsible for calling it quits, but the fighter himself!!

10/21 3:45 PM PT -- Denver Police clarified to TMZ Tuesday ... the man arrested this weekend, Jose Cardenas, is actually the person suspected of stealing the victim's glasses off his face ... Cardenas is not the man suspected of tripping the victim in the street.

A Denver Police rep said ... "Cardenas is now under investigation for Theft from a Person and not Second Degree Assault." The person who tripped the victim remains unidentified, and police are asking for the public's help in identifying him.

President Donald Trump is reportedly demanding the U.S. Department of Justice fork over about $230 million as compensation for its previous criminal investigations of him ... this according to a report from The New York Times.

POTUS is reportedly angry about being investigated by the DOJ, and he's looking to collect a bunch of money for what he thinks were violations of his rights.

It's important to note 47 hasn't filed any lawsuits against the DOJ, and is apparently pursuing the complaints through an administrative claim process ... which often come before actual lawsuits.

In court documents, obtained by TMZ, Chuvalo Mark Ferrell claims Kelli spread lies on the show in a fabricated storyline on the show that he abused Kelli and didn't pay back money.

He says he and Kelli jointly applied for a $420K loan back in 2022 to build out a restaurant called Nana's Chicken-n-Waffles. He says Kelli spent a bunch of the loan money on her birthday and other unauthorized expenses and then fabricated a story that Chuvalo stole the money from her. He says he repaid the loan, but she's still pressing forward with the false claim he stole the $420K.

1:00 PM PT -- Bhad Bhabie posted a response to her father on Instagram... captioning a post, "I paid 25k actually to terminate my FATHER [s] parental rights years ago. I tried to refix are [our] relationship but it didn’t work. The only reason I gave him another chance was because LV suggested I have my father in my life."

The post has screenshots of an alleged email from his attorney agreeing to accept a sum of $25k to resolve all the "outstanding issues" and to terminate his parental rights.

Donald Trump is considering commuting Diddy's sentence as early as this week, according to a high-ranking White House official.

According to our source, the President is "vacillating" on a commutation. We're told some of the W.H. staff are urging Trump not to commute the sentence. But, our source states the obvious -- "Trump will do what he wants," and we're told Trump could set Diddy free as early as this week.

Diddy is serving a 50-month prison sentence for violating the Mann Act. He's served 13 months, and with credit, he could get out in around 2 years -- but none of that matters if Trump commutes his sentence.
