She can't pee in a toilet ... and you probably can't milk her nipples ... but Internet cat sensation Lil Bub is still BFFs with Robert De Niro.

"The World's Cutest Cat" and De Niro hit it off earlier today at the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC ... Mr. Jinx be damned.

De Niro's been dying to meet Bub ever since he heard she'd be featured at the festival -- telling the Hollywood Reporter, he REALLY wanted to take a picture with the deformed feline ... and De Niro always gets what he wants.

(FYI, Bub suffers from several genetic mutations including dwarfism, polydactylism, and a deformed lower jaw.)

"Hunger Games" star Leven Rambin got screwed out of all that sequel money -- thanks to the damn tracker jackers -- but got sweet revenge with a new gig ... that doesn't involve fighting off oversized wasps.

The high-ly anticipated sequel for the cult classic "How High" is stuck in development hell ... Method Man tells TMZ ... but it's not up in smoke just yet.

The rapper and weed rights advocate was out in L.A. yesterday when we asked about the status of the franchise ... and Method cringed in frustration.

Method says the script is still in the works ... but if the public wants to see it made, they need to start voicing their support in a big way ... NOW.

Marlon Wayans isn't one to gloat -- except he's TOTALLY one to gloat ... especially when it comes to the demise of "Scary Movie 5," and he went on an epic rip session with us last night.

Marlon was walking out of Chateau Marmont when we asked if he'd taken in the debut of 'SM5' -- and his response: "Has anybody?"

Quick backstory ... Marlon's had a grudge ever since the studio behind 'SM' pushed him off the franchise. Marlon went on to write and produce "A Haunted House."

Last night, Marlon tried to give us his "most politically correct" answer possible ... but eventually couldn't resist, and let his true feelings fly.

For the record ... 'SM5' debuted with $15 million, and "A Haunted House" opened with $18 million -- but the 'Scary' budget was 7 times more than 'AHH.'

Marlon also took a cheap shot at his pal Kevin Hart for his DUI.

Stephen King's knack for terror crossed the line this week into reality ... when his TV adaptation of a fictitious gunfight sent terrified young students scrambling for cover.

CBS is calling lights, camera, action on "Under the Dome" -- a sci-fi horror show based on King's novel about a town that gets trapped under an invisible force field.

The script called for a gunfight with all the sights and sounds. Problem is, the midday Tuesday shoot was filmed in a park just a few hundred yards from the Pine Valley Elementary School in Wilmington, N.C. ... and it sent everyone there into a blind panic.

Students on the playground after lunch got the worst of it ... and hotfooted it inside the building. It seemed so real ... a deputy on duty at the school put students in lockdown for 20 minutes until the source of the "gunfire" became apparent.

Although producers had obtained the proper permits to shoot the scene, we've learned cops and school officials were not warned about the midday Tuesday barrage.

And how ridiculous to film a shooting scene next to an elementary school?

Stephen King ... still scaring the kids.

Tom Cruise has an enemies list -- just like Richard Nixon -- but instead of targeting Commies, Cruise is zeroing in on the anti-Scientology folks.

TMZ has learned .... Cruise put mags that have written scathing stories about Suri and/or L. Ron Hubbard's crew on the persona-non-grata list for the premiere of his movie, "Oblivion."

Banned from the red carpet this week -- US Weekly, Life & Style, In Touch and The Hollywood Reporter.

Cruise is particularly pissed at THR, which has written more than 20 unflattering Scientology stories in less than a year. As for the tabs, he's upset that they've been snarking at Suri.

As if making all those ridiculous "High School Musical" movies weren't grueling enough, Zac Efron's latest film role is turning out to be a major pain in the ... wrist.

The 25-year-old hunk was spotted with a heavily bandaged right hand on Thursday after falling and hurting his wrist on the L.A. set of his new flick "Townies."

Even with the injury, Zac appears to be lookin' fine ... as always.

Lindsay Lohan is as predictable as a pineapple in a Mai Tai ... she showed up 40 minutes late for her "Scary Movie 5" premiere.

In fact ... she blew in 30 minutes before they rolled up the red carpet.

Her "SM5" and "Anger Management" co-star Charlie Sheen broke away from a few interviews to snap a few pics with the soon-to-be-in-rehab-but-not-until-after-she-goes-to-Coachella starlet.

Michael Keaton's alter ego ain't Batman anymore ... it's Hollywood D-bag -- this according to movie producers who claim Keaton's diva antics torpedoed their Christmastime flick.

Keaton is being sued by Merry Gentleman, LLC -- a production company that claims it sunk more than $4 million to make "The Merry Gentleman" ... which Keaton both directed and starred in.

In the suit, filed in federal court in Illinois, M.G. claims Keaton was a total pain in the ass from the moment production began in 2007.

First example -- M.G. claims they put time, energy and money into building an editing facility for Keaton in California ... and once it was set up, Keaton decided to go on a fly-fishing trip to Montana. M.G claims Keaton forced the production company to build another editing facility in MT, so he could work and play at the same time.

Second example -- M.G. claims Keaton slacked on the directing duties at first ... and he knew it ... because he personally told producers his first cut was a piece of crap.

According to the suit, producers decided to cut their own version of the movie ... and when Keaton found out, he flipped -- threatening to use his connections to have the movie pulled from the 2008 Sundance Film Festival unless they agreed to run one of Keaton's versions instead.

Producers conceded ... but M.G. claims Keaton's diva antics continued ... because when it came time to promote the film on "GMA," Keaton was less than enthusiastic about the movie.

The flick eventually bombed in theaters -- raking in less than $350k ... and producers are pointing the finger solely at Keaton.

M.G. is suing for unspecified damages -- likely in the millions. Calls to Keaton's camp have not been returned.

There's one person in Lindsay Lohan's life who she wouldn't DARE to cross ... David Letterman ... and the actress made sure to get her ass to his studio on time today so she could appear on his show tonight.

Lohan is supposed to talk with Dave about "Scary Movie 5" -- but it's likely Letterman will ask about her personal life ... maybe even why she blew off a deposition in Los Angeles this week.

We broke the story ... Lindsay was supposed to be deposed as part of a lawsuit filed by a paparazzo who claims Lindsay's assistant hit him with her car and put him in the hospital.

Fun Fact -- the Letterman chat will be Lindsay's first TV interview since Nov. 2012 when she appeared on "The Tonight Show."

"The Sandlot" star Chauncey Leopardi's marriage has gone to the dogs -- just like that Babe Ruth baseball -- but turns out, it's been a long time coming, TMZ has learned.

Chauncey -- who played "Squints", the lucky kid who locked lips with Wendy Peffercorn -- married a woman named Stefani back in 2000. She filed for divorce last month.

But the couple hasn't been together for a while ... Stefani tells us they separated way back in 2003, they were just too lazy to file the docs ... until now. We're told the split was amicable.

The former lovers have one kid together -- a 10-year-old daughter. Stefani is asking for joint legal, but primary physical custody.

Speaking of physical -- remember this? Peffercorn ...

Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson love being on the big screen ... well all except one, and they're royally pissed off.

The two stars have filed a lawsuit against two home theater companies, claiming they plastered their pics on advertisements without permission. The ads show a screen grab from "The A-Team" featuring the 2 actors on a big projection screen.

Aside from the fact that "The A-Team" is no way to sell a movie product ... Cooper/Neeson want Vutec Corp. and First Impressions Theme Theaters to stop the ads STAT and they want damages to boot.

In the lawsuit, Neeson points out he's won many acting awards, and been nominated more than 30 times including Oscar and Golden Globe nods for "Schindler's List." Cooper says he's been nominated too, and he's won some, including the ShoWest Convention Award for Comedy Star of the Year -- but not an Oscar.

"The Simpsons" did it ... so did "Jackass," "South Park" and "Beavis & Butt-Head" -- and now it seems "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" could be the next great TV show headed for the big screen.

TMZ spoke with show creator Rob McElhenney -- who plays Mac on the show -- and he told us the gang has discussed making a real, full-length "Sunny" movie, but it's not 100% ... yet.

We also talked to Rob's co-star Glenn Howerton ... who tells us he's spoken with FX network honchos about going forward with ANOTHER "Sunny" spin-off ... a microbrew.
