'The Hunger Games' Have a Taste of 'Sunrise on the Reaping'

Fans have been starving for an update on the upcoming 'Hunger Games' adaptation ... but the wait is over!

On Monday, Lionsgate dropped the first official trailer for "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping" ... and they're giving us a taste of the second Quarter Quell.

The film follows Joseph Zada as a young Haymitch Abernathy, who finds himself fighting for his life in the Games.

The teaser feeds fans a first look at the A-listers taking on some of the iconic characters from the famed franchise -- like Ralph Fiennes as President Snow, Jesse Plemons as Plutarch Heavensbee, Elle Fanning as Effie Trinket, Kieran Culkin as Caesar Flickerman, Kelvin Harrison Jr. as Beetee, and Maya Hawke as Wiress.

It also introduces new characters Maysilee Donner and Drusilla Sickle -- played by Mckenna Grace and Glenn Close.

Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to reprise their roles as Katniss and Peeta and are listed on the film's IMDB page ... but they're not in this first teaser.

'Sunrise on the Reaping' comes out on November 20 ... but check out the star-studded trailer if you can't wait until then!

3:07 PM PT -- Director Christopher Nolan, through his rep, says in a statement given to TMZ ... "My uncle John was the first artist I knew, and he taught me more than anyone about the search for truth in acting and the joys of creative achievement. I miss him terribly, but take great comfort in my memories of John, particularly those of working together.”

John Nolan -- best known for his roles in "Batman" and "Person of Interest" has reportedly died.

The actor died Saturday, according to local British outlet Stratford-Upon-Avon Herald. No cause of death has been revealed.

John is the uncle to Jonathan and Christopher Nolan ... and helped lay the groundwork for their family's success in showbiz. He is recognized for portraying Wayne Enterprises board member Douglas Fredericks in 2005's "Batman Begins" and 2012's "The Dark Knight Rises," which starred Christian Bale.

Devastating news -- acclaimed animator and producer Gary Goldman has been battling dementia for the past year, with his condition worsening ... and now a GoFundMe has been launched to help his wife cover the growing costs.

The GFM page -- started by family friend Mary Busacca -- lays out the heartbreaking reality ... the man who helped bring storybook dreams to life with films like "The Secret of NIMH", "An American Tail", "The Land Before Time" and "All Dogs Go to Heaven" is now losing his own memories.

Mary says it began with confusion while Gary was working in his home office -- his thoughts blurring, memory fading -- before doctors confirmed early-onset dementia.

She describes it as a cruel twist for someone who built entire worlds through storytelling ... now struggling to hold onto his own.

The situation is especially tough on his wife, Cathy -- described as handling the emotional and financial toll with grace as Gary’s condition progresses ... which is why the fundraiser’s been set up, with a goal of $15K.

The Jackson family was all smiles during Friday's world premiere of "Michael" at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, Germany.

Jackie Jackson, Jermaine Jackson and Jaafar Jackson posed for pics on the red carpet alongside Juliano Valdi, who plays young Michael Jackson in the biopic. MJ's nephew Jaafar -- who portrays him in the film -- rocked a red armband over his jacket, as a nod to his late uncle.

The pop icon's children, Prince and Bigi -- formerly known as "Blanket" -- were also there to celebrate their father.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, T.K.’s mom, Lois Gaston, filed to take over control of the late actor’s estate.

T.K. died on January 9, 2026, at the age of 69. Lois explained that she is unsure the value of her son’s estate since there is an ongoing battle over T.K.’s wife’s estate.

Uncertainty about Michael's well-being stirred after CNN shared an article and video titled "Remembering the life of actor Michael J. Fox." There were no reports of his passing ... and the post has since been taken down.

Michael made a surprise appearance at PaleyFest LA on Tuesday to join the wrap party for the 3rd season of the comedy series, "Shrinking." The event took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and included a special screening, followed by conversation led by showrunner and co-creator Bill Lawrence and co-creator and star Jason Segel ... along with cast members Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie, Christa Miller, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley.

Michael Jackson's Estate Paid Roughly $10M to Reshoot 'Michael' Biopic Ending

The Michael Jackson estate reportedly shelled out millions to cut any mention of child molestation accusations in the end of "Michael" ... and because of it, they now own a stake in the film.

The late singer's estate is estimated to have coughed up between $10M and $15M to complete "necessary" reshoots for the movie, according to Variety.

The publication reports the biopic was originally supposed to explore the impact that child molestation accusations had on Jackson's life ... but now there's not even a mention of the accusations, because of a clause in a settlement with one of Jackson's accusers. Jordan Chandler reportedly barred the mention of him in any movie.
