The footage was shown to jurors during the trial. Hayes was found guilty on manslaughter and attempted manslaughter charges.

He'll be sentenced on February 17 and faces up to 60 years in prison.

Donald Trump Sit-down with NFL Legends ... Brown, Lewis Meet the Prez

Published | Updated

Looks like Kanye West was the opener for Ray Lewis and Jim Brown -- the sports greats met with Prez-elect Donald Trump shortly after 'Ye.

The football legends arrived separately at Trump Tower. Trump confidante Omarosa escorted both men upstairs for their powwows with the future commander-in-chief.

Afterward, Brown told reporters he talked to Trump about "helping people." He wasn't any more specific than that.

Unclear what was on Ray's agenda, but both he and Trump were at the Army-Navy game over the weekend.

Eric Dickerson Me Back On The Rams Sidelines? Not So Fast!!

Published | Updated

NFL legend Eric Dickerson has a message for anyone thinking he's gonna rush back to the sidelines of Rams games now that Jeff Fisher is out as coach ... not so fast, homie.

It wasn't too long ago that Fisher called Dickerson up personally and banned him from hanging with the team at games ... apparently miffed that ED was being publicly critical about the team's play.

Eric was none too pleased about the decision, and he wasn't only one ... with a lot of people -- including Snoop Dogg -- asking how the franchise could treat one its greats like that.

We got ED out in the OC and wanted to know if he'd be rushing (get it) back to the games now that Fisher is gone ... and he let us know ... he might be busy those days.

This Ain't Over.

Rams S.B. Champ Grant Wistrom It Was Time To Fire Jeff Fisher ... Change Needed To Happen

Published | Updated

Rams Super Bowl champ Grant Wistrom ain't surprised the Rams fired Jeff Fisher ... 'cause it was time for the longtime head coach to go.

Wistrom -- who played for the Rams from '98-'03 -- says he's always respected Fisher as a coach, but knew the team needed to make a move given his 31-45-1 record and lack of success in L.A.

"It's a lot easier to change a coach than it is to change the players, and a change needed to be made, G.W. says, "obviously, they're not winning."

Wistrom also talks about Coach Fisher's public feud with Rams legend Eric Dickerson ... and whether that contributed to his firing.

Baker -- a seasoned vet at the Becky's Fund charity fashion show in D.C. -- decided to show some skin his 4th time around, and he somehow managed to outdo himself AGAIN this past weekend.

The event -- which raises money to fight domestic abuse -- also featured Wizards stars Kelly Oubre and Otto Porter and Baker's teammates, Pierre Garcon and Vernon Davis ... but Baker is clearly the star of the show.

Eric Dickerson I Don't Feel Sorry For Jeff Fisher ... He Made $40 MILLION

Published | Updated

Now that Jeff Fisher has been fired, Eric Dickerson wants to give Rams fans a bit of advice -- don't feel bad for the guy, 'cuz he's still filthy rich!!

Dickerson talked about the firing on The Eric Dickerson Show on AM 570 L.A. Sports ... and it's clear he's not surprised about the change.

E.D. -- who vowed not to attend Rams games as long as Fisher was coach -- says he hates to see a man lose his job, but doesn't think he deserves any sympathy.

"You can't feel sorry for a guy who's making $40 million."

Jay Z Pregame Pep Talk To Dez Bryant ... Clearly Didn't Work

Published | Updated

Jay Z might wanna stick to pumping up athletes through his music, 'cause his in-person pep talks don't seem to be as effective ... just ask Dez Bryant.

Prior to Bryant's game against the Giants, Hov took a second to hype his Roc Nation athlete for Sunday Night Football ... which sounds like a great idea, right?

Only problem is, Bryant was held to just 1 catch for 10 yards the whole night ... AND he fumbled the only catch he had.

But hey, Dez is a stud and these games happen. Next time just stick to "The Black Album."

HE'S NOT DONE YET

Kevin Hart has some advice for anyone ready to crown Tom Brady the greatest quarterback of all time ... please, please, PUMP YOUR BRAKES ... saying it's still too early to crown Brady's ass.

We got Hart out at Mr Chow and asked him if it's officially time to say Brady's the GOAT ... since he passed Peyton Manning up for most all-time victories by an NFL QB.

That's when KH -- a HUGE sports fan -- got serious ... saying it ain't cool to put Tom at the top while he's still taking snaps ... getting especially hesitant when Joe Montana's name was brought up.

Be expecting a call from Mark Wahlberg, with Ben Affleck on 3-way Kevin.

THE MYTH, THE MAN, THE TAILGATER

You thought it'd never happen ... but Johnny Manziel is back making throws in an NFL stadium ... kinda ... playing parking lot pigskin with some fans at the Cowboys/Giants game Sunday night.

Manziel is still on a NYC trip that saw him take in the Heisman ceremony (he won that thing, remember?) and took some time to toss the football around with some fans before last night's game.

There was some talk before the season that Johnny might be the one taking snaps for the Cowboys INSIDE the stadium at some point in the future ... but yeah, that definitely ain't happening now.

He also tailgated in the FREEZING weather ... dude is a full-on superfan now.

HAPPY FOR DETROIT

Matt Millen says all traces of his work in Detroit are "long gone" ... and he couldn't be more proud of how the Lions have bounced back into one of the best teams in the NFL.

Of course, Millen was the President and CEO of the Lions from 2001 to 2008 and posted a 31-84 record during his run with the team and took responsibility for the results.

Now that it's been 8 years since his ousting, Millen says there's ZERO hard feelings -- he's thrilled for the city of Detroit and incredibly impressed by QB Matt Stafford.

Since he was also a part of the infamous 2008 Lions team that went 0-16 (though he was let go in Week 4), we asked if he had advice for Browns fans on how to get through their toughest season ever.

TAKE IT FROM ME ...

Eddie George says the white-hot Dallas Cowboys will sweep both the MVP and Rookie of The Year Awards ... with one player ... telling TMZ Sports Ezekiel Elliott should WIN THEM BOTH.

The Cowboys have multiple guys up for both Trophies (Dak could slide into either one as well) but when we got George out in NYC he made it clear ... Zeke deserves em both.

It's been done before ... NFL great Earl Campbell pulled the feat off back in 1978 ... and Eddie thinks Zeke is having a beastly enough season to get on that guy's level.

BTW -- George, a Heisman trophy winner, also gives us a little insight on what it's gonna be like for the dude who takes the award home.

Broncos' Brandon Marshall Reveals Vile Racist Hate Mail ... Slurs & Violent Threats

Published | Updated

Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall just revealed two hateful letters he received at work -- littered with n-bombs and threats of violence.

Marshall famously took a knee during the National Anthem to start the NFL season -- and it pissed off some people. We're guessing that (and obvious racism) inspired some people to write disgusting hate-filled letters to him.

Marshall is obviously taking the high road -- and posted the following comment:

"The hatred by some against people of color is one of the reasons we are where we're at in the world today, and they wonder why we feel the way we do and take the stances that we take."

IT'LL BE A BATTLE

Remember, John Elway has forgotten more about football than you'll ever know ... and he thinks the game will be good to RGIII on Sunday -- saying the Browns QB will "do well" in his first start back.

Elway -- who won two Super Bowls as a player and built a SB winning team as a GM in Denver -- was out in L.A. when we asked how he thought RG3 would fare in his first game action since September.

Griffin threw for just 190 yards and an interception in his last start against Philly ... but John says things will be different this time.

STOP SCOFFING. He's John Elway and YOU'RE NOT (he's probably wrong, though).
