Unlike his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow, Coldplay singer Chris Martin isn't wasting any time showing off his new "uncoupled" status to the world -- stepping out in NYC this week with no wedding ring on his finger.

As we reported, Gwyneth and Chris announced their separation last month -- aka their "conscious uncoupling."

But Gwyneth is obviously taking a much slower approach to letting go of their 11-year marriage -- the actress was seen still wearing her wedding ring in L.A. on Sunday.

67-year-old Cher is still super proud of her boobs ... and proved it by sportin' a pair of nipple pasties this week at a concert in Boston.

Cher -- who also rocked a pink wig, pink lip gloss at her Dressed to Kill tour -- seemed extra perky that night ... and also broke out her old low-plunging black onsie from her "If I Could Turn Back Time" video.

As for the nipple pasties ... one question -- doesn't it hurt to take those things off??

Liam Neeson's new special skill is being pampered ... as he was tended to Wednesday on the set of "Taken 3" in Los Angeles.

Veni, vidi, Avicii -- the DJ is officially on the mend after undergoing gallbladder surgery last weekend ... hitting Miami Beach Thursday with this GF ... while sporting a brand new bandage under his ribcage.

As we reported, Avicii was forced to bail on his Ultra Music Festival gig last week due to severe abdominal pains, nausea, and a fever. He got his gallbladder removed Saturday and the surgery went well.

Avicii spent a few days in the hospital recovering, but he's since been released.

Maybe the Ultra curse isn't so bad after all.
