Police in the Prince death investigation have interviewed a lawyer who repped 2 of the singer's siblings who claimed Prince abused Percocet and cocaine and they feared he'd "die young."

Mike Padden is an attorney who repped Prince's half sister Lorna and stepbrother Duane in the early 2000s. Padden tells TMZ both Lorna and Duane separately told him Prince regularly abused the drugs. BTW, Duane was very close to Prince and even worked as his bodyguard.

We're told the lawyer contacted the cops and they called him back over the weekend for an interview and he relayed the information about the drugs.

Duane died in 2011 and Lorna passed in 2006, so Padden's information is not up to date. Another very close family member -- who was in touch with Prince 'til the end -- also tells TMZ Prince had used those drugs for many years.

There's another point of view ... we've spoken with several people who were around Prince in the last few years of his life who say they saw no evidence of drug use ... saying Prince was a "health nut."

As we reported, Prince OD'd on Percocet 6 days before he died.

The investigation into his death is ongoing.

Adam Sandler surprised some huge comedians with an emotional performance at Garry Shandling's memorial service.

Sandler hit the stage to sing George Harrison's "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)" during Sunday's event in L.A. ... which was hosted by Judd Apatow.

We're told the memorial was equal parts somber and hysterical -- no surprise, considering who was in the room. What's a memorial service without a penis joke or two, right?

Some of the celebs there included Billy Crystal, Sarah Silverman, Linda Doucett, Conan O'Brien, Kevin Nealon, Ray Romano, Jon Favreau, Tim Allen, Vince Vaughn, Cheryl Hines and many more.

Shandling died in March of a massive heart attack.

An emotional Kid Rock called 911 after finding the body of his assistant who died in an ATV wreck.

You can hear Rock's frustration with the 911 operator as he demands an ambulance come to his house.

Kid Rock's assistant, Michael Sacha, suffered horrific head injuries in the fatal ATV accident at the singer's Nashville home ... according to emergency responders.

TMZ obtained the audio of the fire department dispatch ... as paramedics raced to the scene on Monday morning. The dispatch operator describes Sacha's injuries and says the 911 caller "thinks [Michael]'s beyond any help."

Prince's sister Tyka has filed legal docs to open a probate case ... and she says as far as she can tell he left no will.

TMZ has obtained probate documents filed in Minnesota, in which Tyka asks the judge to appoint a "special administrator." Under Minnesota law, a special administrator is someone who is appointed when there is no executor named in a will.

Tyka says in her docs, "I do not know of the existence of a will and have no reason to believe that the decedent executed testamentary documents in any form."

If Prince did indeed die without a will, the estate is divided equally among his siblings.

Tyka lists the people who are potential beneficiaries ... all of whom are half brothers and sisters. They are John, Norrine, Sharon, Alfred and Omarr. They are all living siblings of Prince. She also says she's an heir entitled to her cut.

It's interesting ... Tyka names Lorna as a deceased half sister who left no kids. Under Minnesota law Lorna's out of the game when it comes to getting assets. But Tyka never even mentions Duane, reportedly Prince's half brother, who is also deceased.

There's also a line in the docs in which Tyka says, "The decedent has heirs whose identities and addresses need to be determined."

Master P is incredulous a lot of Prince's posthumous fans are now singing his praises when in life they mocked him.

7:00 AM PST -- Kid Rock says Sacha was "a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with."

He adds that he's going to stay in Nashville until he can bring Sacha home to his family.

Kid Rock found his personal assistant dead from what appears to be a late night ATV accident on the grounds of the singer's Nashville home.

Cops say Kid and a friend called 911 Monday around 11:30 AM once they found Michael Sacha on an embankment near Kid's driveway. Sacha was last seen around midnight when he used the ATV to drive 2 people to the street to meet an Uber ... according to police.

Kid didn't notice Sacha was missing until Monday morning and went looking for him. Police say it appears Sacha wrecked on his way back to the house ... where Kid had a cookout on Sunday.

It appears Prince died without leaving a will ... as a result his 6 siblings -- even the half brothers and sisters -- could split a fortune.

Multiple sources who have worked with Prince as recently as 2014 tell us ... he did not have a will. Of course it's possible in the last year or so Prince had a change of heart and drafted one, but all of our sources say based on his history with them that's highly unlikely.

Our sources say various professionals raised the issue of a will with Prince but he never had an interest in drafting one.

We've contacted various people, including family members, and they all say they have not seen a will and so far no one has come forward with one.

If Prince did indeed die without a will, under Minnesota law his siblings -- the closest living relatives -- would share equally in his estate. Prince had 8 brothers and sisters, and only Tyka was a full sibling.

People have assumed Tyka -- who has taken the reins -- would get everything, but that's not the case. In Minnesota half siblings and full siblings are treated exactly the same when it comes to inheritance without a will ... they all share equally.

Two of Prince's siblings are dead, leaving 6. There's one catch. If the deceased siblings had kids, they would be entitled to the same share as their parent.

As we reported ... our sources say Prince's estate is worth somewhere south of $150 million.

Chyna's manager tells TMZ Sports ... he had recently struck a secret deal with the producers of the TV show "Intervention" to get Chyna help ... but she died before they could start production.

We spoke with Anthony Anzaldo ... who tells us Chyna's closest friends had become concerned about her prescription drug use in recent weeks -- worried that she was over-medicating herself with Ambien and Valium. He's adamant Chyna's issue was ONLY with Rx meds.

Anzaldo says he entered into talks with "Intervention" producers about doing an episode with Chyna -- in the hopes they could get her back on the right path before it was too late.

We're told an agreement was reached -- and the plan was to get a bunch of Chyna's closest WWE friends, including Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mick Foley, to participate in the intervention.

"An interventionalist was already lined up as was a facility that was going to take her for 90 days," Anzaldo says. We reached out to "Intervention" -- so far, no word back.

Anzaldo says he became concerned when he hadn't heard from Chyna in days and went to her Redondo Beach apartment to check in on Wednesday evening.

"I found her," Anzaldo says ... noting that he believes she died in her sleep. "She looked peaceful."

As for the future, Anzaldo says he's planning a huge memorial for Chyna -- with celebs and fans ... hoping to give Chyna the send-off she deserved.

Prince's former band members, Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman, are speaking out for the first time about his death.

Wendy (guitar) and Lisa (keyboards) -- the most prominent members of The Revolution -- were at LAX Sunday morning, on their way to Minnesota ... and revealed plans for the band to get back together to honor their friend and bandleader.

If, like most people, you watched "Purple Rain" this weekend ... you saw how close Prince was to Wendy and Lisa, and it's clear in this video just how crushed they are by the loss.

Prince split from The Revolution in 1986, but still occasionally performed with Wendy and Lisa. One of the last times was an instant classic gig at the 2006 Brit Awards.

Prince's famous home and recording studio is now a shrine to the legendary singer ... packed with tons of memorabilia from his career.

These photos were taken inside Paisley Park and reveal some of what fans could be seeing in the near future. Sheila E. has said plans are in the works to turn PP into a museum.

The ashes of Prince were gingerly carried away from the mortuary where he was cremated.

Prince's nephew, Pres Nelson, did the honors as his mom, Prince's sister Tyka, cleared the way. We don't know the identity of the woman walking behind Pres.

Pres shielded the urn by placing it underneath his jacket.

So far, the family hasn't said where the ashes will be strewn.

Legendary soul singer Billy Paul died Sunday at his home in New Jersey ... according to his manager.

Paul -- most famous for his iconic song, "Me and Mrs. Jones" -- had checked into Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia last week as he battled cancer ... but his manager, Beverly Gay, says he was at home when he passed away.

Paul's signature hit went to number one for 3 weeks in 1972. The song also won him a Grammy.

His 1975 hit, "Let's Make a Baby" became controversial as Rev. Jesse Jackson called for radio stations to boycott the song due to its sexuality.

Paul's music made him a central figure in the black power movement, but chart-wise ... he never matched the success of 'Mrs. Jones.'

Billy was 81 years old.

Yep. 2016 officially sucks, where music greats are concerned.

Scott Weiland's ex-wife wants the late singer's estate to continue ponying up spousal and child support to the tune of nearly $20k a month.

According to legal docs, Mary Forsberg wants to dip into the estate for $12,519 a month in spousal support, plus $7,201 in monthly child support for their 2 teenagers, Noah and Lucy. That's what Scott's been paying since 2004.

Although Forsberg is the administrator of Weiland's estate, she needs the court's permission to get the dough.

'Til death do us part?

Dave Chappelle got emotional when remembering Prince ... just one night after calling the singer's death the "Black 9/11."

Dave hit up The Nice Guy in West Hollywood Saturday night when our photog asked about Prince. At first, Dave was shy to talk about it ... but then called the loss something that's hit home for everyone.

It was reported Dave called Prince's death the "Black 9/11" at a show in San Francisco Friday ... saying it's important everyone grieves together. You'll remember ... his "Chappelle's Show" famously featured a skit about the singer in one of its funniest projects.

4:35 P.M. PST -- A rep for Prince tells TMZ, "A few hours ago, Prince was celebrated by a small group of his most beloved: family, friends and his musicians, in a private, beautiful ceremony to say a loving goodbye. Prince's remains have been cremated and their final storage will remain private.

We ask for your blessings and prayers of comfort for his family and close friends at this time. The cause of death remains unknown and it will be at least four weeks before we receive the results of the autopsy. An announcement will be made at a future date for a musical celebration."

2:30 P.M. PST -- Guests including Prince's sister Tyka have started to arrive at the estate.

It appears Prince will be remembered in a private service at his Paisley Park home ... and staff members are currently unloading items for the memorial.

You can see from the pics ... several bouquets of flowers, catered food and tables have been taken inside. It's unknown exactly what will go down in Paisley Park, but we've been told the family's been planning something intimate.

Prince's body was released Friday to his relatives after an autopsy was completed, multiple reports say he's been cremated.
