USA Swimming CFO Cory Hilliard found himself in hot water on Monday ... when he was arrested for allegedly misappropriating funds at his old gig.

Hilliard -- who previously worked as an assistant Athletic Director at the University of Colorado Boulder -- was under investigation by the school and local police for alleged fiscal misconduct between 2021 and 2025.

Colorado athletic director Rick George notified the school of the potential wrongdoing in July 2025 ... while Hilliard served as the designated administrator of its Nike Elite program, which is in place to help athletes, coaches and staffers with merchandise.

Enes Kanter Freedom has officially submitted paperwork in hopes of entering the 2027 WNBA Draft ... claiming it's totally in bounds with the league's current rules.

The 34-year-old former NBA big man revealed the signed letter on Monday ... which states, "Please accept this formal document as my official written notification to the Women's National Basketball Association of my voluntary decision to enter the player pool for the 2027 WNBA Draft."

"Consistent with the current league collective bargaining agreement, I am submitting this notice to exercise my draft rights and to affirm that I am at least twenty-two years old and that I have no remaining intercollegiate eligibility, as required by Article XIII, Section 1(b)."

Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is back on the practice field ... just two weeks after his wife was allegedly shot by the couple's son at their family home.

The longtime coach returned to training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, on Monday, following the tragedy.

Of course, Mia Bieniemy was shot multiple times on July 26 at the couple's home in Virginia. Authorities say their 27-year-old son, Elijah, was the one who pulled the trigger.

The offensive lineman is being sued by OpenRoad Auto Group -- a car dealer in Washington -- which claims in 2021 it leased a 2018 Porsche 911 to Trent.

According to OpenRoad, Williams agreed to make 48 monthly payments ... with the lease expiring August 31, 2025.

The company claims Williams made the first two lease payments in August and September 2021 ... in the total amount of $10,617.26 ... but hasn't made a single payment since.

The club's translated message continued, "His constant companionship and behind-the-scenes leadership were essential in backing every step of Lionel, from his beginnings at Malvinas to the pinnacle of world football glory."

8/24/2026 1:27 PM PT -- Brandon Clarke had an unknown white powder, Narcan, syringes and a lot of medications when he was found dead in his home.

Memphis Grizzlies player Brandon Clarke cause of death has been revealed ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner determined Clarke's cause of death was the combined effects of heroin and cocaine and ruled his death an accident.

According to the Medical Examiner, Clarke was found unresponsive in his bedroom around 5 PM on May 11. Paramedics responded and pronounced him dead at 5:15 PM. He was 29.

His cause and manner of death were officially certified Friday.

Dak Prescott is opening up on his engagement going up in flames ... saying it's an "unfortunate situation," especially with a bunch of "false narratives" being thrown around.

The Dallas Cowboys star addressed his split from Sarah Jane Ramos at training camp this week ... and while he didn't specify what coverage of the split was inaccurate, he said both sides of the break were impacted by bad info.

"Yeah, I mean. I don't necessarily think it was public to me," Prescott said. "Once again, I believe what you take in, what you read, what you look up, you're doing that to yourself."
