Don Lemon to Trump Apologize To Barack Obama ... And Then ESPN Will Follow
Don Lemon says if President Trump wants an apology from ESPN for Jemele Hill's remarks, he should man up and do one thing first ... say sorry to Barack Obama.
What would Trump be apologizing for? He was very critical of Obama during his presidency, including calling BO a racist, and of course questioning whether or not he was born in America.
Don's point seems to be that Trump, while a private citizen, did the exact same thing Hill did, and if her network has to apologize -- like Trump has asked -- then he should step up and do the same.
Don't hold your breath, Don.

Of course, KD has his own issues with POTUS -- remember when he told us he "don't f**k with" the Donald? Yeah, not a fan ... but still, having an MVP publicly support Hill is a HUGE deal.

Al Sharpton says he's got Jemele Hill's back -- and if ESPN fires her over her anti-Trump tweets, he'll lead a boycott against the network.
The Rev. tells TMZ Sports he's furious with the White House and press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders for saying Hill's tweets are a "fireable offense."
FYI, Hill strongly tweeted against Trump on Sept. 11 ... calling him a "white supremacist" and "the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime."
Sharpton says Hill has every right to express her political views without fear that the government will call for her job.
"Let's not forget, ESPN is regulated by the FCC. The FCC commissioners are appointed by the White House so it's a whole different level of intimidation on media outlets when you have the press secretary [calling for a reporter's job]."
Sharpton says he has a message for Hill -- "Stand strong. If they take you out, many of us in the civil rights community will stand up for you and take ESPN off our service."

Basically ... she thinks Trump squandered an opportunity to unite the country, and instead played to his base with harsh rhetoric ... and, apparently, white nationalist sentiments.

Barack Obama is coming out swinging at Donald Trump's decision to end his pro-immigration program, DACA, calling it "cruel" and condemning the White House for doing so.
44 posted a 2-page response on Facebook Tuesday not long after Trump announced his decision. It's a huge departure from Trump's 140-character jabs on Twitter.
Barack starts by acknowledging immigration can be a controversial topic, but says ultimately there should be no threat to the future of "young people who are here through no fault of their own, who pose no threat, who are not taking away anything from the rest of us.”
Obama continues ... "What makes us American is not a question of what we look like, or where our names come from, or the way we pray. What makes us American is our fidelity to a set of ideals – that all of us are created equal..."
Barack says it's up to Congress now whether Trump's decision to end the program ultimately goes through or not.

Barack Obama had some written words of wisdom for President Trump on the day of his Inauguration ... mostly on how to keep the country running smoothly in his absence.
Obama's penned parting letter has just been revealed ... the one he wrote on his way out for the then-incoming President, which he left in the Resolute desk of the Oval Office for Trump to find later.
In the letter, Obama tells Trump to help people less fortunate than both of them, by doing "everything we can (to) build more ladders of success for every child and family that's willing to work hard." Yep, that's a typo on Barack's part. Still, it's a nice thought.
Obama also tells Trump to lead by example and action among the international community, and to respect the democratic institutions of the Office of President -- which, he reminds Trump, is only temporary.
And finally, Obama suggests making time for family to get Trump through the rough patches -- ending with an offer of help anytime Prez 45 might need it.

There are some Jackie O items up for grabs as well, such as her perfumes, belt, and one of her black lace mantillas -- which she wore to Robert Kennedy's funeral.
All the stuff is starting at a bid of just one dollar ... but something tells us it'll go for A LOT more.
Oh, and happy (belated) birthday, Mr. President.
