We caught up with the "Love on the Spectrum" fan fave at LAX Wednesday, and he was buzzing ... telling us he’s headed to NYC to catch "Wicked: For Good," where he’ll meet none other than Ariana, Peter Dinklage, and Jeff Goldblum.

The first trailer for the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic dropped Thursday ... and boy does it deliver.

Our first sneak peek at the movie "Michael" opens with the eponymous icon in the studio with his legendary hit collaborator, Quincy Jones -- played by Kendrick Sampson.

Q says, "I know you’ve been waiting a long time for this. The tracks are made, the songs are ready. Let’s take it from the top" ... launching us into footage of recreations from Michael's childhood and illustrious career.

American actor Khalil Kain is best known for playing the levelheaded Raheem -- who is killed by Tupac's character Bishop -- in the 1992 drama "Juice."

Other noteworthy cast members who joined Khalil on set include Omar Epps, Queen Latifah, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Academy Award-nominated actress Diane Ladd -- actress Laura Dern's mother -- has died at the age of 89.

Ladd, known best for her roles in "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" and David Lynch's "Wild at Heart," died Monday at her home in Ojai, California, according to a statement from Laura Dern published by The Hollywood Reporter.

Ladd began her career on TV, appearing in various roles beginning in the 1950s, including "The Naked City" and "The Fugitive." She had minor film parts before her career on the silver screen kicked off in the '70s, acting in "White Lightning," "Chinatown," and "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore."

Olivia Barash -- known for her roles in "Repo Man" and "Little House on the Prairie" -- says she's facing the most devastating chapter of her life ... after suffering major health and financial issues.

The 60-year-old actress tells TMZ ... she suffered a stroke three weeks ago -- leaving her bedridden at her Los Angeles home -- as she continues to search for proper health care,  which she says she hasn't received.

On top of needing to take care of herself, she also needs to care for her dog ... and has "no family and hardly any friends left in Los Angeles" to lean on for help.

Tchéky Karyo -- a longtime actor with parts in major films -- has died ... according to his wife and their children.

Karyo passed away Friday after a battle with cancer, his family told the French news agency AFP.

The actor, who was born in Turkey in 1953, got a later start on his career ... first nabbing acclaimed film roles in his early '30s, including his part in crime thriller "La balance" which earned him a César Award nomination for Most Promising Actor in 1982.

Robert Englund got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame ... and the dude totally paid spooky homage to the horror character he made an icon.

Here's the deal ... Englund was honored with a star on freakin' Halloween for his decades in the biz ... scaring the hell out of us as the nightmare-stalking serial killer, Freddy Krueger.

And Englund made sure to give Freddy his due ... sporting the trademark knife-claw glove!

Morgan Freeman's received praise over the length of his acting career ... including a tremendous, intimate compliment from Diane Keaton.

Freeman heard about his late costar's opinion of his lip-locking abilities on Thursday's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," when Jimmy brought up how the actress -- who costarred with Freeman in "5 Flights Up" -- was really into his smooching skills.

Kimmel quoted Keaton, who said Freeman's lips were "so luscious" and their on-screen kisses "felt gooey and good."

Freeman gave Kimmel advice for kissing, and said "puckering" leads to tight kisses, while leaving lips naturally loose and soft is way more comfortable.

The late-night show host said he'd kissed Keaton on a past episode of his show, pointing out she obviously preferred Freeman's style.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are super "Popular" movie stars ... but, they jumped into action to help out a normie after someone drenched her with a full glass of wine!

The two stars attended a "Wicked" press event Thursday ... and, while posing with a group of fans, someone standing in the back overturned their glass above a woman in a green dress standing in front of them.

Unclear if someone did this on purpose or if the glass just slipped out of their hand ... but, while Elphaba defies gravity all the time, the wine didn't ... and, the poor girl is soaked by wine, and the glass shatters on the ground right at Grande's feet.

American actor Jon Abrahams was 22 years old when he played Bobby Prinze -- the scheming, sex-crazed high schooler -- in the horror/comedy film "Scary Movie" back in 2000.

Jon shared the big screen with Anna Faris, Regina Hall ... and Marlon and Shawn Wayans.

Abrahams was also in "Meet the Parents" and "House of Wax."

Sydney Sweeney’s "sex symbol" tag sometimes overshadows her roles, and now she’s sounding off about it ... saying it’s not all it’s cracked up to be!
