Fabio Jackson is having a moment as the ultimate Michael Jackson lookalike ... and with the biopic buzz heating up, some fans are taking it way too seriously.

We caught up with Fabio and his wife in L.A. Monday ... who told us about a wild run-in when a woman came up to him -- thinking he was actually the real late icon -- proclaiming "I knew you weren't dead!"

It’s not a one-off -- Fabio tells us people genuinely do double takes all the time ... and his recent viral meet-up with Jaafar Jackson only added to the lookalike madness.

Sydney Sweeney may be one of Hollywood’s hottest names ... but even she isn’t immune to the cutting room floor ... TMZ has confirmed.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the “Euphoria” star filmed a cameo for the opening scene of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” ... only for her scene to get the axe before the movie’s release.

We're told it just didn't work out, but it wasn't a big deal ... as with any film, there's always plenty left on the cutting room floor.

Sydney was set to appear as herself in a quick, fashion-heavy moment involving Emily Blunt’s character. The scene reportedly centered around a high-end styling situation tied to Dior ... very on-brand for the glossy, couture-soaked world of Prada.

But despite the star power, filmmakers ultimately decided the cameo didn’t quite fit the final flow of the movie ... and snipped it during editing.

Hollywood turned into MJ mania Monday night as stars walked the red carpet for the premiere of the Michael Jackson biopic, "Michael."

The star-studded event took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles ... and notably saw the King of Pop's eldest child, Prince Jackson, and sister, La Toya Jackson, smile their way down the carpet.

While fans seem to have mixed feelings about the upcoming biopic, one thing's for certain -- Jaafar is the spitting image of his late uncle in all the promos we've seen so far.

Nadia Farès -- a popular French actress -- has died several days after reports say she was found floating unresponsive in a pool.

Global news agency Agence France-Presse broke the news about Nadia ... citing a statement from her daughters confirming her death.

According to AFP, Farès was found floating unconscious in a Paris swimming pool on April 11. She'd been in a coma since being pulled from the pool ... and passed away Friday.

"Downton Abbey" star Nathalie Baye reportedly died Friday.

She died in the evening at her home in Paris following a Lewy body dementia diagnosis, her family told French press agency, AFP.

Lewy body dementia is one of the most common forms of dementia, and symptoms include visual hallucinations, according to Alzheimers.gov. It leads to problems with thinking, movement, behavior, and mood.
