There's a LOT on the line when Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua enter the boxing ring in 17 days -- not only is El Gallo hoping to pull off the unthinkable and beat a former heavyweight champion ... but one very famous bettor is looking to cash in BIG on an upset.

TMZ Sports is told ... former Sony Pictures head Jon Peters is all-in on the YouTuber-turned-fighter's chances against A.J. on Dec. 19 -- to the tune of a whopping $5 MILLION wager.

So ... why all the confidence in the Disney kid?? We're told Peters and Paul recently had a lengthy chat about the bout ... and the film producer (with flicks like "Flashdance," "A Star Is Born," and "Batman" to his name) was fully convinced.

Boxing star Chris Eubank Jr. just posted an alarming video on Instagram ... revealing weeks after his fight that he's been dealing with health issues for quite some time.

The middleweight fighter shared the clip on Tuesday ... showing himself surrounded by staffers in a medical facility.

In the video, it appears Eubank is under anesthesia as the medical team prepares for an examination.

Toosii's showing he's the definition of a double threat ... because the rapper just committed to play football for Syracuse University as part of the 2026 signing class!

The performer revealed the big news by posting a set of photos on his Instagram account Monday, and he included a shot showing him posing next to Syracuse's head football coach, Fran Brown Jr.

Toosii -- legal name Nau'Jour Lazier Grainger -- really went the whole nine ... or, in this case, 100 yards with his announcement, as he wrote a lengthy statement in the caption thanking his supporters for believing in him as he pursues his athletic dreams.

He wrote he's excited to return to his hometown of Syracuse, New York, after moving down to North Carolina during his teenage years.

Toosii played wide receiver at Rolesville High School, and he'll be playing the same position with the Orange, reports CBS Sports.

The rapper -- whose track "Favorite Song" went double platinum in 2023 -- announced in August he's returning to football ... he reportedly visited both North Carolina State University and Duke University before committing to Syracuse.

Thought things couldn't possibly get worse for the NY Giants?! Younghoe Koo proved the G-Men haven't hit rock bottom quite yet, flubbing an attempted field goal in the most hilariously absurd way ... and now he's getting trolled relentlessly!

The moment went down during the second quarter of the Giants vs. Patriots Monday Night Football game at Gillette Stadium in New England ... when Koo lined up for a 47-yard attempt, looking to cut the Pats lead to seven.

Brianna Aguilera -- a 19-year-old student at Texas A&M University -- was found dead near campus hours after a college football game ... and now her mother is searching for answers.

According to San Antonio's KSAT-TV, Brianna was at Texas A&M's football game against the University of Texas in Austin Friday night ... hours later, a bystander found her body outside a campus apartment complex.

Brianna's mother, Stephanie Rodriguez, told KSAT she's not satisfied with answers she's gotten from the Austin Police Department. She said her daughter stopped answering her phone after the game, though she could see it pinging in Austin. Brianna was found about 1 AM Saturday ... Rodriguez was informed by police at 4 PM her daughter's body was in the morgue.

Famed skateboarder Terry Kennedy -- who's behind bars, serving a 5-year prison sentence for an assault that resulted in the death of fellow skater Josiah Kassahun -- is scheduled to be released at the end of the month, TMZ Sports has learned.

The Illinois Department of Corrections tells us that Kennedy, who is 40 years old, "was eligible for and received sentence credit" ... meaning his release date was pushed up, and he'll walk out of the slammer on December 31, 2025, just in time for New Year's Eve.

We're told TK will remain on supervised release until June 30, 2026, at which point he is scheduled to be fully discharged.

The Chicago Bulls took two L's during the Black Friday matchup against the Charlotte Hornets ... in the actual game and in the fan department, after DaBaby exposed a couple of fair-weather fans as bigger supporters of his than of the team!!!

DaBaby was spotted strolling through Spectrum Center when a female fan asked him to take a pic -- which he happily obliged.

The guys she was with, however, were draped in Chicago Bulls jerseys and DaBaby flat-out refused to flick it up until they stripped them off ... they agreed without blinking.

Stackhouse actually offered him the food ... but the guy hesitated a bit when he noticed a camera pointed right at him.

Ric Flair's shocking claim that "street drugs" killed Hulk Hogan is simply not true ... this, according to the wrestling legend's widow, who tells TMZ Sports the Nature Boy was fed some bad info.

Flair recently addressed Hogan's death on the "DOUBL3 COVERAGE" podcast ... when he stated he spoke with Hulk the day before he passed about his deteriorating health.

Flair claimed Hogan's doctor stopped prescribing him pain medication to combat his numerous wrestling injuries ... so he resorted to unorthodox measures to deal with his suffering.

Fans are big mad at Browns QB Dillon Gabriel's fiancée Zo Caswell, after she appeared to take a shot at the team after Sunday's game ... but the WAG isn't just takin' the hate.

"Browns lost what's new 😂," Caswell captioned a TikTok video after Cleveland's 26-8 loss to San Francisco, a game started by Shedeur Sanders, and not her future hubby, which fans were quick to point out.

"I don't remember these captions when ya man was qb1 😒," someone commented.

"Love you and your content but very disappointed in this caption😟 need to support this team weather he is in or not," another wrote.

Zo tried her best to stem the criticism, commenting on her own video ... though it doesn't look like it's workin'.

With the loss -- Sanders first as a starter -- the Browns fell to 3-9 on the season.

After the game, Caswell likely didn't hear what she was hoping from head coach Kevin Stefanski, who announced Shedeur would start next week's game against the Titans, meaning her man, Gabiel, will once again serve as backup quarterback.

Shedeur and Dillon's relationship -- which hasn't seemed the best at times -- has been the focus of much attention going back to April's NFL Draft, when both players were selected just two rounds apart.
