David Letterman is unloading in a new print interview -- torching his former CBS bosses as "lying weasels" for their ongoing claim "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" is ending over financial reasons.

The OG late-night TV king says this was never about money ... it was a bigger play tied to the network's parent company deal with Skydance Media -- alleging execs basically treated Stephen and his show like an add-on perk to sweeten the sale.

As he puts it, their thinking sounded like: "There's not going to be any trouble with that guy, we're going to take care of the show. We're just going to throw that into the deal. When will the ink on the check dry..."

"Summer House" newbie KJ Dillard says Bravo reached out and apologized to him after rumors spiraled saying he was the one to leak the audio from the recent reunion, TMZ has learned.

We caught up with KJ in NYC, and he tells us anyone who thought he was the one who recorded and then leaked audio from the recent reunion filmed last week is "ignorant."

As we previously reported, Bravo launched an investigation into who leaked the bombshell audio ... and after fan speculation grew that KJ was the one to release the audio, he tells us Bravo reached out to let him know they caught the culprit, and apologized to him for being accused.

"Dance Moms" alum Kalani Goldman is making a major move off-screen ... she’s officially opening her own dance studio.

Kalani recently signed a lease on April 19 and tells TMZ she chose a spot in North Scottsdale, close to where she grew up -- right near the intersection of Thunderbird and Scottsdale Road -- saying the location just “felt right” as she looks to build the next generation of dancers.

The space is no small operation either ... Kalani says the studio clocks in at about 3,500 square feet and includes three separate rooms for classes and training.

'M*A*S*H' Actress Gwen Farrell Adair Dead at 94

Gwen Farrell Adair, best known for her work in the classic TV show "M*A*S*H" ... and, more importantly, for being the first licensed woman boxing referee, has died.

Keith Farrell, her son, tells TMZ ... Gwen died yesterday in Sherman Oaks ... of natural causes.

Gwen appeared on "M*A*S*H" and "Billy Jack" ... but her real legacy began in 1980, when she stepped into the boxing world as a referee -- an unheard of move at the time. Per her family ... she earned the respect of fighters, trainers, and fans alike while she broke barriers.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with funeral and memorial expenses ... the post states in part ... "Her passing leaves a deep void in our hearts, one that cannot be filled. We will miss her voice, her strength, and the quiet comfort she brought into our lives. While we are heartbroken, we are also incredibly grateful for the life she lived and the legacy she leaves behind."

Gwen was 94.

A source with knowledge tells TMZ ... after yesterday's custody hearing -- where the judge extended the couple's restraining orders for three years -- it's highly unlikely Dakota will be appearing on future episodes of 'SLOMW.' We're told the door is open for TFP to come back ... but she's yet to commit.

It all makes sense ... Taylor is one of the stars of the popular Hulu series -- it's 'WIVES' after all -- so that makes Dakota her plus-one. For the moment, it's all moot because word is cameras are not even up yet after production was paused over the couple's drama.
