NKOTB's Joey McIntyre Has Right Stuff ... Sings After Broadway Show

BACK ON THE BLOCK
@nkotbct

Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Block still has the right stuff, because he started singing one of his band's classic hits after performing on Broadway ... and the video is amazing!

The awesome scene went down Tuesday night after Joey showed off his acting chops in the new musical, "Waitress." After the show, the cast was doing karaoke -- with Joey hosting -- and after some pressure from the crowd, Joey started belting out the lyrics to the band's big hit, "You Got It (The Right Stuff)."

Check out the clip ... Joey absolutely kills it and his fans go crazy!

Joey is back on Broadway for a limited engagement through April 7 ... but it's clear he's not shying away from his NKOTB roots.

Sounds like Joey really is having a blast. And, we gotta say ... we hope it lasts!

Mark Wahlberg Hangin' Tough ... With NKOTB Again

BACK ON THE BLOCK
YouTube.com

Mark Wahlberg made his triumphant return to New Kids on the Block -- teasing the crowd in Madison Square Garden into thinking they were about to get some "Good Vibrations."

It didn't happen, but NKOTB fans were still pumped Monday night when 50 Cent (no clue what he was doing there) brought Marky Mark on stage ... where he merely shook hands with his ex-group mates.

Yes, you read that right -- Wahlberg was an original member, but left after 3 months, opening the door for Joey McIntyre to replace him. And that's your NKOTB fun fact ... for the year.

Still, how tough would it have been to get the Funky Bunch up there too for this reunion?

C'mon, c'mon ...

'Full House' Besties We Couldn't Date 'NKOTB' ... Not Rights Stuff

CUT IT OUT!
TMZ.com

Candace Cameron-Bure & Andrea Barber could have ended up with Knight or Wahlberg as their last names -- but freakin' lawyers came between the "Full House" duo and the New Kids on the Block.

D.J. and Kimmy Gibbler caught the NKOTB show Saturday in L.A. ... and while they never say if they ever hooked up with Jordan, Donnie or any of the others ... it sounds like they would have if not for some legal red tape.

More importantly, it sounds like Andrea had a little vino ... 'cause she was giggling like a teenager.

As for the unauthorized Lifetime movie about "Full House" -- they suggest you tune into Netflix for the REAL deal ... check it out.

'NKOTB' Singer Joey McIntyre Sued ... He Rear-Ended Us!

Joey McIntyre from "New Kids on the Block" does not have the Right Stuff -- not when it comes to driving ... according to the California family suing him for slamming into their car.

The lawsuit was filed by a man named Surendra Patel, and in the docs he says Joey was driving "negligently, carelessly, recklessly" ... when he rear-ended Patel and his family 2 years ago in Burbank, CA.

We spoke to a Patel family member who claims they were stopped at a traffic light at the time of the accident, and all 5 passengers -- including two minor children -- were badly hurt ... though the family member wasn't specific about injuries.

The family is suing to cover medical expenses, lost earnings, property damage and pain and suffering.

In short ... they're hangin' tough.

We haven't heard back from Joey's camp.

Aaron Carter When NKOTB Fans Attack (So Crazy It Must Be True)

Aaron Carter says he got his butt kicked because of a New Kids on the Block turf war -- which is just too ridiculous to be true!

Or maybe too ridiculous to be made up?

Aaron Carter I Got Jumped Over 'NKOTB' Turf War

Aaron Carter is sporting a shiner he claims he got from 4 grown men who were pissed he's performing on "New Kids on the Block" turf ... aka Boston.

Aaron, who posted some gnarly selfies after the fight, tells TMZ he was leaving dinner with a friend last night in beantown, when a huge guy approached him in the parking lot and yelled: "I heard you’re doing a show here tomorrow. This is the town of the New Kids."

Aaron claims three other guys then jumped out of a gold Chevy Malibu ... and started the beat down, which came complete with a shot to his face.

The singer claims he landed a few punches before the NKOTB-lovers took off -- "I think my knuckles might be broken, but that's what they get. People think I'm a pretty little white boy but no way. I think I won. I'm still standing."

Aaron says he's performing as scheduled tonight, and he's not filing a police report because it's "girlie."

Two shocking things: Who knew NKOTB fans were so hard? And ... Aaron Carter still sings?

New Kids on the Block Canada Concert Canceled Over Border Dispute

Blame Canada ... a New Kids on the Block concert tonight in Ottawa has been canceled ... after several trucks carrying equipment for the NKOTB tour were held up at the Canadian border.

A rep for NKOTB's "The Package Tour" tells TMZ, several gear trucks carrying production equipment -- like lighting and other prop stuff -- as well as key crew members were delayed at the Canadian border for such a long time ... tour officials were forced to pull the plug on tonight's show.

The rep wouldn't specify why the trucks were held up -- but did say the band members arrived in Canada safely ... and on time.

We also spoke with someone at Canadian Border Patrol ... who was also looking into the incident.

As for tonight's show ... it's been postponed to tomorrow.

Story developing ...

New Kids on the Block Good Genes or Good Docs?

New Kids on the Block have got the right stuff.

Here's Danny Wood, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight and Jonathan Knight during their boy band heyday in 1989 (top) -- and 24 years later, Joey, 40, Danny, 43, Donnie, 43, Jordan, 42, and Jonathan, 44, in NYC recently (bottom).

They're hanging tough.

Backstreet Boys & NKOTB Judge Dismisses $5 Million Brain Trauma Lawsuit

It's official: the New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys can't be held responsible for brain trauma -- at least, according to a judge who dismissed the bands from a $5 million lawsuit filed by an injured stagehand ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story in July ... William Wesley Styron sued NKOTBSB for injuries he allegedly suffered when he fell through a hole in the stage prior to a 2011 concert.

Styron said he fractured his skull and suffered brain trauma from the fall ... and was looking for a cool $5 million from the bands and other parties who he held responsible.

NKOTBSB denied the allegations, claiming it wasn't their fault Styron didn't see the huge hole in front of him ... and it looks like a judge agreed ... ruling that responsibility for the fall lies with the production company who hired him -- not the bands themselves.

The judge promptly dismissed the case against NKOTBSB, finding they "owed no duty to plaintiff that was breached when he was injured."

Ouch.

Backstreet Boys & NKOTB Stagehand SUES Over Dangerous Man Hole

You're not the only one who thought last year's Backstreet Boys/New Kids on the Block tour was painful -- a stagehand claims he was nearly killed before a concert ... after falling through a hole ... and now, he's suing the bands.

William Wesley Styron filed the lawsuit in Tennessee, claiming he was hired to set up for the boy bands' show at Fedex Forum in Memphis on June 20th, 2011.

According to the lawsuit, Styron was going about his duties when he accidentally stepped into a hole in the stage ... and plummeted 13 feet to the ground ... fracturing his skull and causing "traumatic brain injury."

Styron claims he suffered a "loss of consciousness, seizures, and convulsions" during the accident before someone called 911 -- and he was rushed to the hospital.

According to the suit, it all could have been avoided -- but there was nothing in place to warn Styron about the stage's hazardous conditions ... no signs ... no cones ... nothing.

Styron says the accident cost him tons in medical bills -- and now he wants at least $5 MILLION.

NKOTBSB has already denied the allegations -- claiming the accident was Styron's fault for not looking where he was going.

NKOTBSB Party in Las Vegas

The guys from the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block hosted parties at Gallery Nightclub and Chateau Nightclub respectively last night -- after they played the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

What year is it again?

New Kid on the Block Finds New Kidney for Fan

It's official ... Twitter saves lives -- in fact, Donnie Wahlberg from New Kids on the Block was able to help find a NEW KIDNEY for an extremely sick fan ... using nothing but the social networking site.

It all started with a tweet from the fan's best friend who was trying to raise awareness about the girl's dire situation -- one of her kidneys was failing ... fast.

Donnie retweeted the link to his 183,000 followers, asking for help ... prompting a barrage of phone calls to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where the girl -- named Bobbette Miller -- was being treated.

According to the Boston Herald, the calls yielded SIX matches -- and Bobbette is now scheduled for a transplant in June.

Ah, the power of 140 characters or less.

NKOTB vs. BSB Who'd You Rather?

Boy bands of yore New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys are joining forces to pay their bills go on tour together.

Question is ...

Pauly D -- Trying to Join The 'New Kids' Tour

DJ Pauly D thinks he's got the right stuff for the upcoming New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys tour -- and now TMZ has learned he's "in talks" to be one of the opening acts.

Sources tell TMZ .... the "Jersey Shore" star is close to a deal -- but he's not the only act that's being considered. We're told Boys II Men is also in the running.

Reps for the tour tell us, "[Pauly D] is one of many that has submitted himself to be on the tour. No opening act decisions are being made at this time."

New Kids Fans Go Nucking Futs

How did this possibly happen? Last night in Las Vegas, the New Kids arrived at LAX Nightclub to the kind of crowd that used to go bonkers for 'em 20 years ago. Repeat. 20 years ago.

A quote from our guy in Vegas: "In all my years in Vegas, I've never seen such pandemonium over anybody."

Fart Attack Pap Drops Stinkbomb on Joey Mac

What's more shocking -- our photog asking Joey McIntyre which New Kid "farts the most" or the fact the guy actually had an answer? And in case you were wondering, the NKOTB ripper really puts the "D" in silent but deadly.
