Angelina Jolie is putting permanent roots down in L.A. ... she about to become the proud owner of the historic Cecil B. DeMille Estate.

The 6 bedroom, 10 bath pad was on the market for just shy of $25 million, and we're told Angelina paid close to asking.

Stories surfaced that Angelina was considering making an offer, but we've learned she did, the offer was accepted and it's now in escrow.

The home -- considered one of the best in L.A. -- was built in 1913. The famed director lived there until his death in 1959.

Her neighbors will include Ellen Pompeo, Casey Affleck, Natalie Portman, Lauren Graham, Will.I.Am and David Fincher.

The most anyone paid for a home in the area is Lydia Hearst, who plunked down $13 mil, so Angelina's purchase is nearly double.

Katy Perry just made a massive move on the real estate market ... she's about to close on a $19 million dollar mega mansion in Beverly Hills, TMZ has learned.

The house has 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and sits on 5,427 sq feet in a super secure gated community.

The house was not on the market, and we're told Katy paid the owner a skosh under $19 mil to seal the deal.

Taylor Swift's Beverly Hills home just got officially designated as a historic landmark, which means she'll be getting a HUGE tax break, but it comes with one big disadvantage ... she can't alter a thing without jumping through hoops.

Taylor will need to get approval from the Beverly Hills Historic Preservation Committee if she wants to build a recording studio on the property ... or anything else for that matter. A rep for the committee tells us it's a complicated process to get the green light for remodeling projects.

Taylor purchased the Samuel L. Goldwyn estate back in 2015 for $25 mil. It was built in 1934 and housed 2 generations of the Goldwyn family before it finally went on the market.

We're told the property's architecture was the driving force in making it landmark worthy, and any remodeling will be super tricky.

There are various criteria for a house to qualify as a Bev Hills landmark, including architecture, and whether a significant person lived there.

Kylie Jenner is trying to unload the first home she ever bought ... so much so, she's slashing the asking price.

Kylie bought the Calabasas house back in 2015 for $2.6 million. Since then she's become a real estate baroness, snagging 3 other homes in the area.

She listed the starter home last June for $3.9 mil ... there were bites but no solid offers. So Kylie's go-to realtor, Tomer Fridman, just reduced the price to $3.3 mil.

The house is 4,800 square feet, it has 5 bedrooms, 6.5 baths and lots of bells and whistles.

Mel B clearly wants to move on with her life, because the very same day estranged husband Stephen Belafonte was kicked out of the family house that has been up for sale for only 2 weeks, she lowered the price by a million bucks.

The Hollywood Hills home was put on the market March 22 for $8.995 mil. On Monday, just after a judge ordered Stephen to leave, the asking price went down to $7.995 mil.

Our sources say Mel B might not even live there while the house is up for sale, because it has a lot of bad memories.

Law enforcement sources tell us, Emmy was in NYC last week when the housekeeper showed up on Wednesday and everything was fine. But on Friday, the housekeeper returned to a crime scene.

The housekeeper noticed the power was off and a glass pane on a back door was smashed.

The next thing the housekeeper saw ... the "Shameless" star's 2 safes were wide open with nothing inside.

Our sources say $150,000 in antique jewelry was missing from the safes ... nothing else was taken.

As for how the burglars were able to open them ... we're told Emmy left written combinations next to the safes.

Law enforcement believes the thieves cut the power to deactivate the alarm system.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have just put their amazing Montecito estate on the market ... and you gotta think, anyone who has cash to burn would be lucky to have it.

Law enforcement sources tell us they got a call late Friday night from Pressly, who told them someone broke into her Sherman Oaks home.

Pressly said she went out for the evening, and when she returned she quickly realized someone had been up to no good.

We're told the burglar got in through a side window that was forced open.

The crook made off with jewelry and a laptop.
