'Basketball Wife' Laura Govan Burglars Hit Me for $700k!

Published | Updated

Former "Basketball Wives: LA" star Laura Govan found her home ransacked after burglars made off with a ton of cash and jewelry ... TMZ has learned.

According to the police report, Govan's San Fernando home was a disaster zone when she came home last month from vacay. The kitchen window was smashed and items were thrown all over the house. Laura told cops the crooks made off with $98k in cash and $615k in jewelry ... including a $50k Rolex.

Her home is in a gated community, but as we've seen in the recent string of burglaries ... that doesn't seem to matter. Govan has a security system, but says she didn't turn it on ... so a friend who was watching her dog could easily come and go.

A neighbor told cops she heard the dog barking one night around 1 AM, but didn't think much of it. Govan's motion sensor doorbell also detected movement that night around 12:44 AM. She told cops video footage from her system didn't save because it's not connected to the cloud.

So far, no arrests and no suspects.

SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS

Add NBA star Rudy Gay to the list of people completely disgusted by the racist vandalism at LeBron James' house ... telling TMZ Sports that type of ignorance has no place in 2017.

We broke the story ... LeBron's Brentwood home was vandalized early Wednesday morning by racists who spray painted the n-word across an entrance gate.

James touched on the matter in a press conference, reminding the world that even rich and famous black athletes can still experience racism.

The slur has been painted over and the cops are investigating -- but when we got Gay leaving Warwick in L.A. he was outraged that the incident could still happen in today's day and age.

I think we all are.

LeBron James L.A. Home Vandalized With N-Word Graffiti ... Hate Crime

Published | Updated

An L.A. home owned by LeBron James was the target of a hate crime -- someone spray painted the n-word on the front gate and detectives are now investigating, cops tell TMZ Sports.

Here's what we know ... multiple LAPD units and a neighborhood patrol vehicle responded to the home early Wednesday morning. We're told the word was scrawled on the outer gate.

We're told investigators are looking for security footage from neighbors which may show the perpetrator.

Records show LeBron bought the house back in 2015 but it does not appear he lives there on any regular basis.

The graffiti has since been covered up.

We're told LeBron was not at the home at the time of the incident -- he's presumably in the Bay Area gearing up for Game 1 of the NBA Finals, which starts Thursday.

Debbie Rowe I Burned that Bitch Down!!!

Published | Updated

The roof. The roof. The roof ... and the rest of the house was definitely on fire.

Debbie Rowe and the woman whose home she burned down learned a hard lesson about spontaneous combustion.

Michael Jackson's ex was in Vermont, recovering from breast cancer treatment at a friend's cottage. The cottage was awesome ... built in 1937. Debbie and the owner were refinishing crown molding with linseed oil.

Debbie decided to take a break last Thursday and left a rag soaked in the oil in the living room. She took a long break, went to the main house and started knitting. Unbeknownst to her ... the cottage erupted in flames. She didn't hear a thing because of the wind.

Turns out the fumes from linseed oil are highly flammable ... the process of the oil turning into fumes creates heat, and the combo of that on rags is a fire waiting to happen.

Debbie's friend is supremely understanding ... grateful that Deb wasn't hurt.

"Supergirl" actor Tyler Hoechlin's Man of Steel act didn't charm his landlord ... he says the guy screwed him out of $10k when he moved out of his apartment.

Hoechlin and his roomie, Ryan Guzman -- the hot dude from J Lo's "The Boy Next Door" -- are suing their landlord for overcharging them for what they call ... "normal wear and tear" on their crib.

In legal docs, they say the landlord deducted $9,689 from their security deposit to cover paint and other common move-out expenses. They insist there was nothing out of the ordinary done to the place to warrant that tab. They're suing to get their money back.

A rep for the property management company stands by the charges.

Ariana Grande Mom's House Guarded by Heavy Security After Terrorist Attack

Published | Updated

Ariana Grande may be fearless -- vowing to return to Manchester after the terrorist attack at her concert -- but she's not foolhardy, because her family home is being guarded by enough security to protect a head of state.

Security vehicles were positioned in front of her mom's home in Boca Raton. It's a gated community, but no one's taking any chances. In addition to private security, 2 cop cars are stationed on the street.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Ariana's mom, Joan, always gets extra security when her daughter's in town. However, local police are more actively patrolling the area given the circumstances around Manchester ... and they're calling that shot on their own.

TMZ broke the story ... Ariana will hold a benefit concert in Manchester a week from today. All proceeds will go to the family of the victims' families.

'How i Met Your Mother' Josh Radnor Sued Over Big Deck

Published | Updated

Josh Radnor is rich and famous, and he's also got a huge deck that just got him sued.

The "How I Met Your Mother" star owns a house in the Hollywood Hills. According to the lawsuit, the prior owner of Radnor's property had a right to extend his property to the neighbor's land, but only if he maintained a retaining wall and walkway.

Fast forward to 2016 ... Radnor, according to the lawsuit, knocked down the retaining wall and built a deck that extended over the neighbor's property. The deck sounds awesome -- seating area and all.

Problem is ... the neighbor thinks the easement went poof when Radnor destroyed the retaining wall.

According to the lawsuit, the neighbor demanded that Radnor tear down the deck ... to no avail.

We reached out to Radnor's publicist, so far no word back.

Sandra Bullock Stalker Gets Probation But There's a Silver Lining for Her

Published | Updated

Sandra Bullock's worst nightmare -- the guy she found standing in her hallway in the middle of the night -- copped a plea in the felony stalking and burglary case ... he won't be going to jail, but the punishment is actually comforting to Sandra.

The judge gave Joshua Corbett 5 years of probation and ordered him to continue getting in-patient treatment at a mental health facility. Corbett broke into Bullock's home back in 2014 ... and she actually came face-to-face with him after she was awakened by a loud noise.

Bullock made an understandably panicked 911 call after barricading herself in her room ... which was played in court.

Here's why probation is comforting to Bullock ... up until now, all she had was a restraining order which does no good if the person restrained has mental issues and doesn't take his or her meds. No one's monitoring the person who's the subject of the restraining order.

Now that Corbett is on probation, he'll be monitored by a probation officer who can keep tabs on him and make sure he takes his meds. Typically, someone who takes the required meds becomes harmless.

For safe measure, the judge ordered Corbett to stay clear of Sandra for 10 years.

Scott Disick Burglary Smells Like Inside Job

NO WORRIES

Scott Disick's home was almost certainly broken into by someone who knew him and knew the property ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ -- not that Scott seems the least bit concerned.

Our sources say it appears Sunday's burglary was an inside job, because the crook or crooks knew exactly where the security cameras were before breaking into the house through a backdoor because they moved the cameras so they could enter undetected. After entering, they opened a bunch of drawers.

Cops also believe the burglars knew full well Scott was out of town, appearing at a gig in Vegas for his birthday. It was heavily advertised beforehand.

Scott was back home by Sunday around 9 AM, hanging with friends and rambling incoherently. Seemed like the party was still going from Vegas, and he was NOT sweating the burglary.

The break-in comes almost a year to the day from the time Scott was hit the first time ... someone broke into his home and stole some super expensive watches. Law enforcement tells us Scott believes he knew who did it but didn't want to rat them out.

As for what was taken this time around ... we're told an inventory hasn't been taken yet.

The home is listed with Zar Zanganeh of Luxe Estates & Lifestyles.

Amber Rose Hires Armed Security After Creepy House Break-in

Amber Rose is scared out of her mind after her home break-in ... and she's hired a small army of guys who are packing heat to protect her.

We're told Amber hired off-duty cops to walk the perimeter of her house on a 24/7 basis. Amber will also have at least one off-duty cop inside her house day and night ... for safe measure.

TMZ broke the story ... a guy broke into Amber's house Wednesday morning and hung out for 4 hours before leaving. Surveillance video captured him inside and out.

We're told Amber thinks she might have a stalker on her hands, so she'll also have guards following her when she leaves the house. Even when she's gone, guards will still protect the property.

Amber's son, mother, bodyguard and assistants were in the house at the time of the break-in ... no one heard anything during the break-in.

Adrian Peterson Puts Minnesota House On The Market ... Peace Out Vikings!!!

Published | Updated

How do you know when the breakup is real? When someone finally moves out.

This time it's Adrian Peterson, whose Minnesota house is officially up for sale, TMZ Sports has learned.

The 5-bed, 4-bath home -- which Peterson bought for $665k in 2007 -- is located in Eden Prairie, just minutes from the Vikings headquarters and practice facility.

AP listed the house at $695k earlier this week (hey, $30k goes a long way) ... and being that it comes with a team themed room (purple walls, team logo), another Viking might wanna grab it.

Of course Adrian is a Saint now ... and while it remains to be scene whether he'll cop a spot in the Crescent City, one thing's for sure ...

... the break up with Minnesota is real.

Travis Barker Say It Ain't So!!! Unloads L.A. Crib for $4.46 Million

The Blink-182 drummer just sold his 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom L.A. pad. He was asking $4.5 mil, and got $4.46. That's a win.

He bought the 4,173 sq ft house in 2014, and it's built for a rock star with modern taste -- loft-like living room with 13-foot ceilings and 10-foot high window panes. There's also a retractable Fleetwood wall of glass to seamlessly blend your indoor/outdoor experience.

In the master suite -- sprawling space with 3 walk-in closets.

Like we said ... badass crib.

Katherine Jackson Hotel Rendezvous Alarms Family

Published | Updated

Katherine Jackson had a bizarre, alarming meeting last weekend with a family member, who left feeling like the beloved matriarch is living a nomadic life.

Multiple Jackson family sources tell TMZ, Katherine finally came face-to-face with grandson TJ Jackson, who also serves with her as co-guardian of Michael's 3 kids. They didn't meet at Katherine's Calabasas family home -- a place in which she hasn't stepped foot since January -- nor did they meet at the home of Rebbie Jackson, where's she's been staying for months. TJ was told to meet her at a random hotel.

Mind you ... we're told TJ and other family members believe some of Katherine's kids have been holding her at bay from her own grandkids so they can gain control over the MJ estate.

Our sources say Katherine mentioned she was not moving back to her Calabasas home but may buy another house. It's odd an 87-year-old would start buying new homes, which has raised concern among some family members that someone's pulling her strings.

Other sources tell us ... there's no way Katherine could buy a home, because she doesn't have the cash. She gets a monthly stipend of $67k from the estate, but she doles most of it out to her kids.

We're told Katherine still hasn't seen the grandchildren she loves since January.
