Nicholas Sparks Wife Has Moved Out and Moved On
Nicholas Sparks and his wife may have announced their separation this week, but they are so far down the road to divorce she's already bought her own house ... TMZ has learned.
Catherine became the owner of a $1.1 million mansion on December 9. It's 2 1/2 miles from the Sparks family home, which makes sense ... they have 5 kids together. The house sits on 4 acres of lakefront property.
As TMZ reported ... Nicholas and Catherine signed a "postmarital agreement" back in August, which indicates they have reached a property settlement deal. They both waived their right to alimony.
So far, no one has filed divorce docs, but it seems like that's just a matter of time.

Oh dear ... someone tried to burn down the San Francisco home made famous in "Mrs. Doubtfire."
It happened at 8:00 PM Monday. The owner of the home, a doctor, believes the culprit is a disgruntled former patient.
As for how the fire started ... fire officials say the arsonist doused the doormat with gasoline or some other type of flammable liquid.
The damage wasn't serious -- the owner was able to contain it before it got out of control.
Just a few months ago, the iconic house served as a memorial site after the death of Robin Williams.

Birdman's nest is getting shaken one more time -- but not by Lil Wayne -- his Miami condo association wants him out -- and now they're going to court to make it happen.
Ivy Condo Association says between him bouncing checks and racking up over $12.5K in unpaid fees they've had enough -- they filed a lien in November, and asked the court to foreclose on the rap mogul right before Christmas. Yo, bah humbug!
Financial woes are stacking up for the Cash Money honcho -- a reported $1.9 million federal tax lien, a $1 mil lien from a construction company ... plus, he took out a $5M loan against his mega-mansion in April, just to pimp it out.

Our sources say Scott wants to make house flipping his new steady source of cash -- and he could get a major bonus out of it. The 'Keeping Up' cameras have been shooting his work on the house, and there's talk of a possible spin-off focusing on his design adventures.

Scantlin bought the house for $1.7 mil back in 2005.
The auction is set for next month.
