El piloto de una aerolínea comercial acusado de casi matar a decenas de pasajeros habló por primera vez del incidente, diciendo que creía que iba a poder salir de su aterrador estado alucinógeno si destruía el avión.

Joseph Emerson fue entrevistado por el New York Times el viernes, desde la cárcel de Multnomah, en Portland, donde le dijo a un reportero: "Pensé que se pararían los dos motores, que el avión se dirigiría hacia un accidente y yo me despertaría".

Emerson fue detenido el 22 de octubre, luego del extraño incidente en un vuelo que iba desde el estado de Washington a San Francisco. Fue acusado de 83 cargos de intento de asesinato, uno por cada pasajero, y actualmente se encuentra detenido sin fianza.

Según contó a The Times, su pesadilla comenzó dos días antes cuando consumió hongos mágicos con unos amigos mientras recordaba a otro compañero que había fallecido en 2018.

Dijo que la muerte tuvo un impacto traumático en su vida, que cayó en un profundo hoyo y que buscó ayuda de terapeutas para hacer frente a la pérdida.

Hasta el 22 de octubre, dijo que seguía automedicándose e ingiriendo hongos con sus amigos. También creía que estos se burlaban de él y planeaban hacerle daño.

Declaró que lo invadieron sentimientos de miedo y temor de camino al aeropuerto, y al momento de embarcar el vuelo de una hora hacia San Francisco. En este iba como pasajero, no como piloto, ya que no estaba de servicio en ese momento.

Antes de que se cerraran las puertas del avión, Emerson dijo que le envió un mensaje de texto a un amigo, diciéndole que estaba teniendo un ataque de pánico.

Después de que el vuelo despegó, se volvió completamente loco, gritando: "No estoy bien", antes de activar las dos manijas de supresión de incendios del avión.

Según un informe policial, los pilotos que manejaban el avión agarraron las muñecas de Emerson y lo apartaron del panel de control para que no pudiera cortar el suministro de combustible ni apagar los motores.

El informe dice que Emerson gritó entonces: "¡Tienen que esposarme ahora mismo o esto va a ir mal!". Al parecer, también bebió café de una de las cafeteras, intentó abrir la puerta de emergencia y exigió saber si todo lo que estaba pasando era real.

Desde luego lo era porque Emerson fue detenido después de que el avión realizara un aterrizaje de emergencia. Para colmo, supuestamente se quitó la ropa, intentó tirarse por una ventana, se orinó encima y se masturbó.

The commercial airline pilot charged with nearly killing dozens of passengers is speaking out for first time, believing he could have snapped out of his terrifying hallucinogenic state if he destroyed the plane.

Joseph Emerson was interviewed Friday by the New York Times in Portland's Multnomah County Jail, telling a reporter, “I thought it would stop both engines, the plane would start to head towards a crash, and I would wake up."

Emerson was arrested for the bizarre October 22 incident aboard a flight from Washington state to San Francisco. He was charged with 83 counts of attempted murder -- one for each passenger -- and is currently being held without bond.

He told The Times his nightmare began two days earlier when he consumed magic mushrooms with friends while reminiscing about another buddy who had passed away in 2018.

He said the death had a traumatic impact on his life, falling into a deep funk and seeking out therapists to cope with the loss.

Fast forward to Oct. 22. Emerson said he was continuing to self-medicate and ingest the 'shrooms with his friends, who he thought were mocking him and scheming to harm him.

He said feelings of fear and dread washed over him on his way to the airport, boarding the one-hour flight to San Francisco as a passenger -- not a pilot -- since he was off duty at the time.

Before the doors closed on the plane, Emerson said he texted a friend, claiming he was having a panic attack.

After the flight took off, Emerson said he went completely nuts, screaming, "I'm not OK," before activating the plane's two fire-suppression handles.

According to a police report, the pilots flying the plane grabbed Emerson's wrists and ripped him away from the control panel so he couldn't cut the fuel supply or shut down the engines.

The report says Emerson then yelled, “You need to cuff me right now, or it’s going to be bad!" He also allegedly guzzled coffee from a pot, tried to open the emergency door and demanded to know if all this was real.

It certainly was because Emerson was arrested after the plane made an emergency landing. To top everything off, Emerson allegedly took off his clothes, attempted to dive out a window, peed on himself and masturbated.

Blueface was roasted online for proudly showing off his new fiancée Jaidyn Alexis' home cooking ... which had culinary critics mocking the millionaire for eating like he was "living paycheck to paycheck."

Digging into homemade pasta topped with cheese singles and a basic side shredded salad, the rapper likely didn't expect to be dragged by online foodies ... who schooled him on shredded cheese and real, non-plastic plates for a more indulgent dining experience.

The salad wasn't let off the hook either, as one person likened it to old pencil shavings -- while others simply encouraged Blueface to "throw away the whole stove and whatever else she used to make this concoction." Ouch.

In one statement that hit a little close to home ... someone wrote, "I see why he cheats," in reference to his turbulent relationship with ex-Chrisean Rock.

Elsewhere, the home cooking was branded as "prison food," ... which Blueface may get all too familiar with if he breaks the terms of his 3-year probation for a Vegas shooting.

A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with arson and other felonies after allegedly intentionally setting fire to a New York horse barn, tragically killing over 24 thoroughbreds.

The New York State Police say they responded to a structure fire at the Tioga Downs Casino complex early Thursday morning in Nichols, NY ... about an hour or two south of Syracuse.

NYSP says the blaze was catastrophic, killing more than two dozen horses in a horrific manner ... also leaving one human, who tried to save the animals, injured in the blaze. There was also thousands of dollars worth of damage.

"Over two dozen racehorses died in the fire," NYSP said.

"One person who entered the burning barn in an attempt to save horses suffered second-degree burns and was transported to Robert Packer Hospital for treatment."

The state police also sent condolences to "individuals and families that lost their beloved animals during this tragic incident."

The NYSP's ongoing investigation revealed the fire was set intentionally ... and identified Boyd H. Fenton as the suspect.

The Pennsylvania native was arrested and charged with third-degree arson, third-degree burglary, 2nd-degree assault, and criminal mischief in the second.

PETA released a statement about the devastating news ... and expects the courts to prosecute Fenton to the "fullest extent of the law."

NYSP dice que el incendio fue catastrófico y que mató a más de dos docenas de caballos de una forma horrible. También alcanzó a un ser humano, que trató de salvar a los animales y que fue herido en el incendio, y produjeron daños por varios miles de dólares.

"Más de dos docenas de caballos de carreras murieron en el incendio", dijo NYSP.

Two deputies are lucky to be alive after a Florida man intentionally accelerated his car and plowed into them while they were responding to a distress call from his mother.

The horrifically violent scene played out Thursday morning in suburban Tampa ... where the mother of the suspect, Ralph Bouzy, called cops to say her son was "behaving violently" at their home. Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies arrived and saw Bouzy sitting behind the wheel of car in his driveway.

Cops say Bouzy drove off, but returned 15 minutes later ... as 2 deputies were still there, standing near the foot of the driveway. A deputy's body cam captured the moment Bouzy stepped on the gas, sped up and smashed into the lawmen ... pinning one of them up against a patrol car.

After the impact, Bouzy got out of his car and walked toward other cops on the scene, refusing to surrender. He finally went down once they tasered him, and he was arrested.

It's a miracle the deputies -- Carlos Brito and Manuel Santos -- even survived the crash. Both sustained critical injuries that required surgery, and remain hospitalized.

Sheriff Chad Chronister said, "There is no other way to describe this other than an ambush. Our deputies put their lives on the line every day to protect this community and what happened today makes me absolutely sick."

Law enforcement sources tell us ... before authorities arrived early Monday morning, Tom Hanks' son punched the 42-year-old suspect after finding him attempting to break in around 3:00 AM. When L.A. County Sheriff's deputies got on scene they tried to slap cuffs on the man, but he kept fighting.

Eventually, they subdued him enough to get cuffs on him ... but while leading him to the car, the guy fell backward onto one of the deputies, who ended up with a broken leg!!!

Both men had to be taken to a hospital for treatment. Once he was medically cleared, the suspect was booked for burglary. As for Chet ... at least physically, he was unscathed.

There's a Hollywood connection to a deeply disturbing crime ... the son of a powerful former Hollywood agent has been booked for murder after a woman's dismembered torso was found in a bag.

LAPD arrested 35-year-old Samuel Haskell Wednesday following the grisly discovery -- the bag containing the female victim's body was in a dumpster in Encino, CA. Haskell's wife, Mei Haskell, and her parents are currently missing. The coroner hasn't identified the victim yet ... but in the meantime, Haskell's being held on $2 million bail.

Haskell's father, Sam Haskell Sr., is currently the President of Magnolia Hill Productions -- the company behind several Dolly Parton specials -- including "Dolly Parton's Magic Mountain Christmas" and "Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors."

Haskell Sr. was once a powerful agent at William Morris Agency ... he retired as an agent in 2005, but during his 27-year-career represented the likes of Dolly, Whoopi Goldberg, Ray Romano, George Clooney, Martin Short, Kirstie Alley, Tony Danza, Debbie Allen, Kathie Lee Gifford ... and even King Charles' younger brother, Prince Edward.

As for the criminal investigation into Haskell's son, investigators are currently searching through Junior's Tarzana home where he lived with his wife and her parents Yanxiang Wang and Gaoshen Li.

So far, police say they've found evidence of a crime with blood in the home.

The dismembered torso was reportedly found Wednesday by a homeless person who was sifting through a strip mall dumpster. Haskell Jr. and Mei have 3 kids who are safe in the custody of L.A.'s DCFS.

Jenelle Evans' teenage son, Jace, has been keeping his distance from his mom and her husband, David Eason ... and we're told the kid's happier now than he's been in a long time.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... 14-year-old Jace has zero contact with the "Teen Mom" star and David, as he's been living with Jenelle's mom, Barbara, while he remains under custody of Child Protective Services. Sources say Barbara also isn't in contact with Jenelle or David.

TMZ broke the story, David was charged with child abuse in a case involving Jace ... allegedly roughing up the teen and causing "marks on the right arm and left and right side of the neck," according to court docs.

The docs also say Jace's injuries weren't sustained by accident ... and the date of the alleged incident was the same day Jace slipped out his bedroom window and ran away from home.

We're told Jace is glad to be back living with his grandma ... and the place feels like home to him. Jenelle just regained custody of Jace earlier this year, so he's really spent most of his childhood in Barbara's care.

He also recently enrolled in a brand new school after being out for the past few months. You'll recall, he was reported as a runaway after getting in trouble at school back in August.

Tinashe says she's been getting stalked by a guy who showed up at her front door and tried to get inside ... she now wants extra protection from the court to prevent it from happening again.

The singer just filed for a temporary restraining order in L.A., and per court docs -- obtained by TMZ -- the singer has been dealing with the guy for a while. Tinashe says the whole thing reached its tipping point last week when she says the guy surfaced outside her house.

In the paperwork, Tinashe says she's been getting randomly tagged on IG by a guy named Ramon Oppikofer since 2022 ... whom she says she doesn't know at all. Tinashe says it started as seemingly harmless digital fanfare but turned real on Oct. 27 -- when she claims he showed up to her brother's private birthday party ... totally uninvited.

Tinashe goes on to explain that Oppikofer apparently handed her a hotel room key -- which she says she gave right back to him and tried laughing it off. Things turned extra scary, however, after he allegedly arrived out of nowhere outside of her L.A.-area property a few days later ... during which, Tinashe claims he was simply lurking up and down her street.

She says she called cops that day, but he was gone by the time they arrived. The next day, Nov. 2, Tinashe claims this guy came back ... and this time, allegedly rang her doorbell -- only to get no response. She says he returned later that same day in an SUV ... pulling up in front of her house and calling out her name -- only to be confronted by people Tinashe was inside with. She says the man took off again ... but wasn't done just yet.

Tinashe claims that exact same day, he returned YET AGAIN -- this time, allegedly ringing her doorbell ... getting rebuffed by her father who was with her, and then allegedly breaking into her actual house. Tinashe says she fled to an area of her house and locked herself inside ... and claims Oppikofer attempted to open the door. She says some music studio co-workers who were on site confronted him and told him to scram ... and he did.

Tinashe says Oppikofer continued to lurk outside, and that cops eventually showed up and arrested him. BTW, law enforcement sources confirm all this to us -- saying he was booked for misdemeanor trespassing ... but was released shortly thereafter.

The reason, we're told ... L.A. County's no-bail policies -- and that's something Tinashe cites in her TRO request here ... saying she needs this court-ordered protection to keep Oppikofer away, as she fears he's going to show up to her place again and potentially do worse.

She says she's scared for her life ... and is begging a judge to sign off. As of now, her request has yet to be granted -- but the situation sounds dire.

Terell Ephron, quien iba como A$AP Relli cuando estaba junto a la cuadrilla de Rocky, subió al estrado el miércoles en una audiencia preliminar para el caso de asalto en Los Ángeles.

Por supuesto, Relli es el testigo clave y supuesta víctima aquí, por lo que fue bajo juramento para explicar lo que ocurrió el 6 de noviembre de 2021. Asegura que su viejo amigo abrió fuego contra él y le golpeó la mano con al menos uno de los disparos.

Relli afirma que se intercambiaron palabras duras. Rocky puso el arma en su estómago, supuestamente diciendo: "Te voy a matar ahora mismo". Relli declaró que Rocky no disparó en ese momento, pero afirma que las balas empezaron a volar poco después de que se separaron.

En ese momento, Relli dice que sintió cómo se le calentaba la mano y supo que le habían dado. Alega que Rocky disparó unas cuatro veces antes de salir corriendo y dejarlo allí en la calle. Relli dice que no fue a la policía hasta el día siguiente por miedo.

Rocky también estuvo en el tribunal hoy, y escuchó todo el testimonio de Relli. Fue visto al salir a almorzar durante un descanso. La sesión se reanudará el jueves por la tarde.

6:16 PM PT -- Rocky's high-powered attorney, Joe Tacopina, grilled Relli on cross in court today ... and it proved to be a combative back-and-forth that delved into the alleged victim's personal history with Rocky -- including the nitty-gritty of what led to them falling out ... as well as how, exactly, he came to report the alleged crime and when.

The whole purpose of this questioning, it seems, was to get Relli to admit that he seemingly dragged his feet in raising this issue with law enforcement ... with the implication being that he may have had ulterior motives. That's certainly what Tacopina was driving at, anyway.

Relli, meanwhile, reiterated he only waited a bit to report this out of fear of retaliation ... and insisted he was a gunshot victim, period. He also denied trying to extract money out of this situation. Like we said, the exchanges were testy ... and it proved to be heated at times.

Now, a source directly familiar with the proceedings today tells us they feel like Relli got exposed, and that his case likely won't hold up in front of a jury due to inconsistencies addressed in the prelim. Of course, time will tell if that actually comes to pass.

5:10 PM PT -- A$AP Rocky's first day in court for his criminal trial appears to have just wrapped, 'cause the dude just left the building ... and he's looking cool and confident on his way out.

Check out this video of Rocky cruising out of the front doors of the DTLA courthouse he's been in all day ... where one of his former A$AP Mob members testified he shot him 2 years ago. As you can see, AR was in a damn good mood ... signing autographs and smiling wide.

From the looks of it, he's not all that worried about this case ... despite how serious it is.

A$AP Rocky's former fellow Mob member -- who claims Rocky shot him 2 years ago -- just testified Rocky also threatened to kill before pulling the trigger.

Terell Ephron -- who went by A$AP Relli when he was rolling with Rocky's crew -- took the stand Wednesday in a preliminary hearing to AR's assault case in Los Angeles.

Of course, Relli is the key witness/alleged victim here ... so he went under oath to explain what he alleges happened on Nov. 6, 2021 -- which is that his old pal opened fire on him and struck his hand with at least one of the shots.

While in court, Relli recounted how he and Rocky first came together and how A$AP Mob formed back in the day -- but also described how their relationship started to fray when Rocky's career skyrocketed, as others in the group were kinda left behind.

Relli says he began resenting Rocky for moves he perceived as dishonest, such as allegedly promising to help support a slain A$AP Mob member's family ... which Relli claims Rocky never did. All their bad blood allegedly came to a head that fateful night.

According to Relli, Rocky called him and demanded to know where he was, and they ended up meeting at an L.A. hotel -- which he thought might be a chance to squash their beef. Instead, Relli claims Rocky and some goons rolled up on him ... and things got heated, with a gun allegedly being drawn.

Relli claims harsh words were exchanged, and Rocky put the gun to his stomach ... allegedly saying, "I'll kill you right now." Relli testified Rocky didn't shoot right then and there, but claims the bullets started flying shortly thereafter as they separated.

At that point, Relli says he felt his hand get hot and knew he'd been hit ... and alleges Rocky fired around 4 times before taking off running and leaving him there on the street. Relli says he didn't go to cops until a full day later out of fear.

As we told you ... Rocky has already pleaded not guilty to 2 counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm. Cops swarmed his pad last year and conducted a raid right after he landed back in L.A. from a Barbados trip he was on with Rihanna.

Rocky himself is in court today and heard all of Relli's testimony -- he was seen stepping outside during a lunch break ... and they're set to resume the hearing on November 20.

No sign of RiRi anywhere ... looks like Rocky's dealing with all this with just his lawyers at the moment.
