Sources tell TMZ lawyers for the people suing Lindsay Lohan have been "giving her a hard time" during the deposition -- going over the alcohol-fueled wild ride down Pacific Coast Highway in 2007.

We're told Lindsay has been "cooperative," but the plaintiffs' lawyers have taken the gloves off.

So far Lindsay has not buckled. They're finishing off a lunch break.

Anything can happen, so ...

During a news conference moments ago, Bret's doc -- Dr. Joseph Zabramski -- said the singer was no longer in critical condition and has recently been released from the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix.

The doc claims that Bret has been moved to a new undisclosed location to continue his recovery.

Dr. Zabramski said a medical team is still monitoring Bret's condition very closely -- and noted the singer is "very lucky" to be recovering so well.

As the two walked out of Bouchon restaurant, the two locked in a really snug embrace and then tenderly swapped some cheek kisses.

It wasn't exactly a makeout session -- but it wasn't the way you'd send off your grandmother either.

Network sources tell TMZ Conan was flat out wrong when he said NBC gave him the axe rather than Leno because Jay's buyout would have been bigger. Sources say the buyouts for Conan and Jay were roughly the same. TMZ broke the story Conan took home $32.5 million from his severance package with NBC.

And our network sources say Coco was just plain lying in response to Steve Kroft's question:

Kroft: "They said that the -- for the first time in history, 'The Tonight Show' was losing money."

Conan: "I don't see how that's, I honestly don't see how that's possible. It's really not possible. It isn't possible."

Forrest Griffin -- one of the most popular fighters in the UFC -- is backing out of his fight later this month because of a bum shoulder ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us the former UFC light heavyweight champ's shoulder injury is serious enough that he won't be able to fight Lil' Nog on May 29 in Las Vegas.

Charlie's rep released a statement to TMZ from the Sheen/Mueller camp, saying, "Please let us clarify this: They are not seeking a divorce nor has one been contemplated. There has been no financial agreements between the parties of any sort. Stories to the contrary are false."

Michaeltells TMZ the plane he took yesterday on his way from New York to L.A.got hit by lightning.

Michael says the plane made a scheduled layover in Atlanta but it was damaged badly enoughthat he had to get on another jet to make his way to L.A. -- where heplans to meet with lawyers about establishing a conservatorship forLindsay Lohan.

Klein and office manager Jason Pfeiffer were featured on "Extra" a few days ago -- during the interview Pfeiffer claimed to have had a romantic relationship with MJ.

Klein called in during TMZ Live last Friday, and said Michael was gay and Jason was "the love of his life."

Klein told us Saturday, "Was he gay? Yes." He then went on to say his declaration is meant to shoot down rumors that Jackson was a pedophile. And, Klein says, as far as he knows, Jason's alleged two-month relationship is the only gay relationship Jackson ever had.

Pfeiffer says, "Michael was not ashamed of his sexuality."

TMZ has learned the big "coming out" announcement planned for this week will be ... country star Chely Wright.

There's been a big buzz over the last week as to which celeb was announcing he/she was gay ... we knew it was going to be unveiled in PEOPLE mag next week. But now TMZ knows for sure.

Wright has a book coming out this week as well -- it's called, "Like Me." And she has a CD coming out too -- called "Lifted Off the Ground."

The 39-year-old singer scored a #1 country song back in 1999 with "Single White Female," when she was named Academy of Country Music new artist of the year.

Wright is the first major country artist ever to come out. She has been romantically linked to a number of celebs, including Brad Paisley.

Interesting ... she lists Howard Bragman as her publicist, who was the mastermind behind the Chaz Bono story.

Cannon had said the couple planned to renew their vows -- and that's exactly what it looked like they did. Mariah was wearing a white dress and veil, Nick in a white suit.

TMZ has learned Charlie Sheen's lawyers are deep in plea negotiations with Aspen prosecutors and a deal is close -- in large part because Charlie's show is hanging in the balance.

Sources close to Sheen tell TMZ Charlie's team has one goal -- the plea deal must be made by May 19 ... the date of the CBS upfronts, when the fall schedule is announced. We're told CBS is skittish about re-upping the show if Charlie's fate is uncertain.

Insiders involved in the contract negotiations tell TMZ it's increasingly looking like Charlie will cut a new deal with Warner Bros. for two more years of "Two and a Half Men."

As for the plea deal, sources say there have been "numerous conversations" between Charlie's lawyers and Aspen prosecutors. As we first reported, the hang-up was over whether Charlie would be pleading guilty to a felony or a misdemeanor.

Bret Michaels isn't just in good hands -- he's being treated at one of the most prestigious neurological centers on the planet.

According to Bret's rep, Michaels is a patient at the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix -- home of the world famous Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.

Bret's neurosurgeon, Dr. Joseph Zabramski, has also released a statement saying there's "no doubt" Bret's condition is "serious" ... but adds, "Bret's sheer will to live and fully recover is undeniable."

Dr. Zabramski says he's had several conversations with Bret since he first arrived to the center.

The doc claims Bret explained that he refused to succumb to the brain hemorrhage because he "did not want his family to wake up and see him lying unconscious in the middle of the floor."

TMZ got the shot of a top realtor in the O.C., Chuck Buscemi of First Team Real Estate, going to the house today. Buscemi got the listing today and confirmed with TMZ the house is now on the market for $5,995,000.

We're told the house will be sold discretely ... it will not be in the Multiple Listing Service and potential buyers must pre-qualify.

By the way ... no open houses.

Lohan -- who is on probation for DUI -- has not fulfilled the alcohol education requirement laid down by the judge ... TMZ has learned.

Judge Marsha Revel made it clear to Lindsay late last year, she must attend alcohol ed courses once every 7 days. The only exception -- if she was in inpatient rehab. And the judge was explicit ... if Lindsay did not comply with the terms of probation, she was going to jail.

The school in which Lindsay enrolled is required by state law to inform the court only if the student is MIA for 21 days. So here's the disconnect: The school has not reported an attendance violation ... because Lindsay frequently waited until the 21st day to attend classes.

Bottom line -- Lindsay met the school's requirement, but squarely violated the judge's order.

We've learned what's going to come out at Lindsay's progress hearing on May 20 -- that she has habitually violated the judge's requirement to attend classes at least once every 7 days.

Judge Revel has made it clear to Lindsay -- no more chances. If probation is violated, she's going to jail ... and probation was repeatedly violated.
