Shayne Lamas Gets DUI, According to Shayne

Published | Updated

DUIs are great for ratings -- so what better way to help your reality show then to go get one ... and then blab all about it to the network that airs your show?

Shayne Lamas
was popped in Venice, Calif. last night for allegedly driving under the influence -- and we know this because she told E!, home of "Leave it to Lamas," the whole story.

In a shockingly well-worded statement, Lamas told E!, "Early Saturday morning, after consuming one drink, I willingly drove through a mandatory check point on my way home with complete confidence of passing. However, the breathalyzer indicated that I was over the legal limit of blood alcohol content and was arrested onsite."

Look for a very special episode of "Leave it to Lamas" sometime during the next sweeps period.

Tyson Now Has Arizona on His Butt

Published | Updated

Mike Tyson can't get a break. Court officials in Arizona tell TMZ they're looking at yesterday's bloody LAX incident to determine if the ex-champ violated his probation. If he did, he could end up in an Arizona prison.

Tyson was convicted of felony cocaine possession and misdemeanor DUI in Arizona in 2007. He was placed on 3 years probation. One of the conditions -- Tyson can't violate any laws.

If Arizona prosecutors believe Tyson crossed the legal line yesterday, they could attempt to violate his probation and he could face jail time.

A probation official tells TMZ if charges are filed against Tyson in L.A., that could trigger a probation violation. The official says worst case scenario for Tyson -- 2 1/2 years in State prison.

Hoff Gambles with Sobriety in Canadian Casino

Published | Updated

David Hasselhoff has fallen off the wagon once again ... TMZ has learned -- this time making a drunken spectacle out of himself during a trip to Canada this weekend.

We know the Hoff -- who's famously struggled with alcohol in the past -- was drunk in British Columbia over the weekend and caused a scene.

Multiple sources tell us it all went down at the Cascade Casino, when The Hoff somehow got himself involved in an altercation with an elderly patron.

We're told three casino security personnel were called to the scene ... and Hoff was eventually escorted away.

But here's the most shocking part ... We're told Hoff was seen drinking again just 7 hours later.

So far, no comment from Hoff's camp.

Kiefer Sutherland's $700 Morning Bar Tab

Published | Updated

Kiefer Sutherland racked up the following $700 bar tab between 7am and 1pm. Yes, those times are correct.

We've learned the "24" star and members of the show's crew popped into The Spot in San Pedro, California last week after wrapping up a shoot nearby -- and they were ready to get their drink on.

According to an employee at the bar, Kiefer was throwing back scotch & Cokes and bought drinks for everybody in the joint -- roughly 30 people. The total damage: $500. No food ... all booze.

The drinks may have been stiff, but Kiefer wasn't -- we're told he tipped $200.

FYI: We're told Sutherland -- who has a few DUIs under his belt -- was responsible this time and used a designated driver when he left the bar.

La-Z-Boy-Mobile -- $43,000 Diamond in the Rough

Published | Updated

The dude who got a DUI on a converted La-Z-Boy was literally sitting on a goldmine and he didn't know it -- now his beloved recliner-mobile is currently fetching more than $43,000 in a police auction ... and he won't see a cent of it.

The bid for Dennis LeRoy's infamous La-Z-Boy-Mobile is currently at $43,100 -- and there's less than 24 hours to go.

Cops in Proctor, MN, made a deal with LeRoy to remove one of the DUI's from his record if they could sell the contraption -- but little did they know LeRoy's franken-chair could be worth as much as a brand new Audi A5.

For the record -- a regular, non-motorized recliner usually goes for around 700 bucks.

Dennis LeRoy's La-Z-Boy-Mobile is being sold out from under him on eBay by cops in Proctor, Minnesota -- a punishment for LeRoy getting his second DUI while riding the incredible contraption last year.

But all is not lost ... in exchange for removing the chair from the possession of its drunken master, LeRoy will get one of the DUIs taken off his record.

Somewhere, LeRoy is probably listening to "There's a Tear in My Beer" by Hank Williams.

Rehabbed NBA Star -- Sleeps Off Temptation

Published | Updated

It looked like rehabbed Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley had drifted back into the danger zone, passing out in front of a table filled with open bottles of beer. But team officials claim there's more to these pictures than meets the eye.

The photos were taken Oct. 10, after the NBA star and a female companion boarded a boat in Miami Beach during the Columbus Day Regatta. We called team officials for an explanation -- due to the fact that Beasley just emerged from a stint in substance-abuse rehab last month -- and boy did they give us one:

TMZ spoke with Miami Heat exec Tim Donovan, who told us it was all part of a "fishing trip arranged by the team ... Michael was not drinking at all ... except for water and purple Gatorade."

Donovan also claims Michael's counselor was with him on the trip and the woman sleeping next to him is just a friend.

So why was Beasley passed out?? Donovan says Beasley was simply tired from practice earlier that day and needed some shut eye.

La-Z-Boy Driver: I Was Trying to Pop a Wheelie

Published | Updated

The dude who was arrested for drunk driving a motorized recliner says he wrecked his kick-ass ride because he was trying to pop a wheelie ... and the CHICK RIDING ON THE BACK OF THE La-Z-Boy threw off his balance!

We just got off the phone with 61-year-old Dennis LeRoy, who told us the only thing harder to do than pop a wheelie on a racing chair after slamming 8 beers is popping a wheelie on a racing chair with a chick on the back after slamming 8 beers.

The added weight must have thrown off LeRoy's already dicey equilibrium -- because the unfortunate passenger ended up getting tossed from the ride and LeRoy ended up slamming into a parked car ... which landed him in the slammer.

Don't forget, people ... tricks are for kids!

Man Gets DUI on La-Z-Boy-Mobile

Published | Updated

How lazy do you gotta be to get a DUI without ever getting off your La-Z-Boy???

A 61-year-old dude named Dennis LeRoy was just sentenced to 180 days in jail after cops say he got wasted at a Minnesota bar last year and tried to drive home on his suped-up piece of living room furniture.

The La-Z-booze-mobile was equipped with a cup-holder, radio, headlight and a National Hot Rod Association sticker. It was powered by a converted lawn-mower.

Cops say on August 31,2008, LeRoy pounded around 8 or 9 beers, left the bar, mounted his chair-mobile -- which is capable of speeds up to 20 MPH -- and crashed into a "real car" on the way back to his home.

LeRoy was given field sobriety tests ... but cops say he "failed everything."

The La-Z-Boy driver can avoid jail time if he completes two years of supervised probation -- which includes completing a chemical dependency program, random testing and 30 days of electronic monitoring.
