As we previously reported, Kidd was arrested for driving while intoxicated following the crash.
In the hours leading up to the crash, Kidd was partying at a club and appeared so drunk, he had to be carried out of the place.
For some reason, he got behind the wheel ... and drove into a telephone pole.
After the crash, Kidd's lawyer released a statement saying, "Jason has pleaded not guilty to a DWI charge and awaits further court proceedings."

Kerry Kennedy Arrest Family Reportedly Believe She Suffered a Seizure
Kerry Kennedy's car crash and subsequent DWI arrest might have had nothing to do with drugs and instead could have have occurred because she suffered from a seizure -- this according to a new report.
Kennedy was arrested Friday AM after driving erratically and crashing into a tractor trailer on I-684 in NY. Police charged with driving while impaired by drugs after she allegedly admitted to taking an Ambien.
But a source tells the NY Post that the Kennedy family now believe the 52-year-old may have suffered a seizure instead. The source says, "She does not remember how she got to the side of the road. All she remembers is feeling very woozy."
The source adds that the Kennedy family now fears an undiagnosed medical condition may be to blame.
Following the incident, the source claims Kennedy's blood and urine tests (taken at Northern Westchester Hospital) showed no signs of drugs or alcohol. But the cops are still waiting on their own blood tests, which should be available shortly.

U.S Commerce Secretary Off Hook in Hit-and-Run Seizure Case
U.S Commerce Secretary John Bryson won't face charges after allegedly crashing into two cars in L.A. last month ... and fleeing the scene -- because the D.A. has rejected his hit-and-run case.
As we previously reported, Bryson was found unconscious in his Lexus after allegedly smashing his Lexus into two cars -- miles apart from each other.
According to the D.A.'s charge evaluation sheet, doctors believe Bryson suffered his seizure following the first accident -- and the disorienting experience caused accident #2.

Bryson had been cited for hit-and-run after he was taken to a nearby hospital following the accidents -- but today, the D.A. rejected the case due to insufficient evidence ... both for hit-and-run and DUI.

If Matthew Fox doesn't look drunk in his DUI mug shot ... it's because it was taken TWO MONTHS after he was arrested.
TMZ has learned ... Fox returned to the Deschutes County Adult Jail in Bend, Oregon on June 29th to finally take the mug shot from his May 4th arrest ... and TMZ has the pic.
So why did it take so long for cops to get the shot? Turns out, the camera at the jail was BROKEN on the night Fox was arrested ... so the judge made the former "Lost" star come back for a makeup photo.
As we previously reported, Fox struck a plea deal with prosecutors so he wouldn't have to serve any time in jail -- and in exchange he pled no contest to one count of DUI.
As part of the deal, Fox can't drink alcohol for one year and is required to complete a drug and alcohol treatment program.
If Fox complies with the court's orders, the entire case will go away.

Miss Arizona Teen USA Okay Fine, I Was BUZZED Before DUI Arrest
Former Miss Arizona Teen USA Tori Vance -- who pled "not guilty" to DUI last week after her recent arrest -- is now admitting ... she DID have something to drink before cops busted her behind the wheel last month.
Tori was out shopping in L.A. yesterday with a beauty pageant buddy when she gave us the blow-by-blow -- saying, "I was coming from Rosa Mexicana. It was Cinco de Mayo. So I shouldn't have been driving. I know better."
Tori added, "I didn't even give it a thought and I had something to drink."
QUICK REMINDER -- TORI IS ONLY 18 YEARS OLD.
After leaving the restaurant, Tori said she pulled an illegal U-turn and -- just her luck -- a cop car was right behind her. The giant sombrero she was wearing at the time probably didn't help her case.
As we reported, Tori pled "not guilty" -- but our guess ... her lawyer's are currently hammering out a plea deal with prosecutors. Tori's due back in court July 25th.
