Joe Simpson was driving with a .12 blood alcohol level when he was popped last week for DUI -- law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

TMZ broke the story ... Simpson was busted August 4 in the San Fernando Valley. We're told he was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint on Ventura Blvd. Although we don't know where Simpson had allegedly been drinking, we're told the checkpoint was two miles from Casa Vega, a Mexican restaurant frequented by Jessica Simpson -- she's a regular. BTW, they make a mean margarita.

Joe's .12 is well above what is considered legally drunk in California -- .08.

Ex-Korn drummer David Silveria insists he was NOT under the influence at the time of his DUI arrest earlier this year -- pleading "not guilty" earlier this week in an Orange County courtroom.

TMZ broke the story ... Silveria was busted for DUI in Huntington Beach back in March after rear-ending another car.

The man insisted he hadn't a drop to drink -- but told us he did take a sleeping pill the night before, the effects of which may have lasted through the morning ... making him too drowsy to drive safely.

Silveria called it an "honest mistake" -- and has now decided to fight the charges.

Joe Simpson -- Jessica Simpson's father -- was arrested for DUI in L.A. ... TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement sources, 54-year-old Joe was busted on Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks on August 4.

We're told LAPD cops pulled Joe's car over around 10 PM ... and during the stop, officers got the feeling he was intoxicated and ultimately cuffed the famous pop and took him to the pokey.

Joe was booked and spent the rest of the night behind bars. He was released without having to post bail at 9:41 the following day.

Rick Springfield just got off EASY in his DUI case ... the one in which he allegedly threatened to kill a deputy sheriff ... TMZ has learned the singer cut a deal and won't have to spend a single minute behind bars.

TMZ broke the story ... Springfield was arrested in May 2011 after cops in Malibu pulled over his 1963 Corvette Stingray ... and smelled booze. Sources tell TMZ Rick threatened to kill the deputy and his family if he had the car towed.

Springfield was charged with DUI ... but today, we've learned he cut a plea deal with prosecutors ... in which they agreed to drop the DUI charges in exchange for a no contest plea to reckless driving.

As party of the deal, Rick was put on 3 years probation ... and ordered to attend a 2 month traffic program.

TMZ has obtained the Randy Travis 911 call made last night by a passerby who saw the country singer lying in the road.

TMZ broke the story ... police found Randy laying naked outside his crashed car and arrested him for DUI and making threats against the cops.

In the 911 call authorities were having trouble figuring out exactly where Randy crashed.

As we reported, Randy was taken to jail in his birthday suit. His mug shot clearly shows the injuries from the crash.

Randy Travis left a Texas jail this morning in a brand new suit ... a paper suit ... after cops found the country singer NAKED at the scene of a DWI car wreck.

TMZ broke the story ... officials say Travis had no clothes on when they arrived to the scene of his car accident late last night. They also say Travis was drunk off his ass ... and arrested him for DWI.

After transporting a naked Travis to a nearby jail, officials forced Travis to put on the paper suit ... which he was allowed to wear home.

It's possible Travis wasn't entirely naked during the arrest -- since he was wearing a U of Texas hat on the way out of jail, it's possible he was also sporting the headwear at the crash scene.

Randy Travis threatened to shoot and kill the troopers who arrested him for drunk driving last night ... this according to the Grayson County Sheriff's Office.

The GCSO tells us ... officers received a call at 11:18 PM from a person who stated there was a man lying in the roadway. When cops arrived to the scene, they noticed Travis' 1998 Pontiac Trans Am had driven off the road and slammed into several barricades in a construction zone.

Travis was initially arrested for DWI -- but once he was inside the cop car, officials say the singer threatened to "shoot and kill the Troopers working the case."

As we previously reported, Travis was NAKED ... and rode bareback while he was being transported to the station.

When he arrived to the jail, cops gave Travis a shirt to wear for his mug shot ... and a paper suit to cover his man parts.

Travis is sporting a black eye and cuts in his mug shot -- injuries we're told he suffered when he crashed his car into the construction zone.

Travis was charged with DWI and retaliation for making the threats. Travis is currently in custody.

8:45 AM PT -- Randy has been released from custody after posting $21,500 bail.

7:54 AM PT -- Sources tell TMZ ... Travis was BUCK NAKED when cops arrived to the crash scene. It's unclear why Travis was not wearing clothes.

We're also told the country singer refused to take a breathalyzer, so a blood draw was taken to determine his blood alcohol level.

We've also learned ... before the DWI arrest, someone called cops to complain that a naked Travis walked into a convenient store and tried to buy cigarettes.

6:24 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell us ... Travis was charged with "retaliation" because he verbally threatened a cop during the bust.

Country singer Randy Travis was arrested last night in Texas on suspicion of DWI after crashing his car, TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Randy was arrested around 11:59PM with minor cuts and bruises. He was also booked on a "retaliation and obstruction" charge ... a felony.

Randy's car was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

Other details surrounding Randy's arrest are unclear. Randy is still in custody.

It's the singer's 2nd arrest this year -- back in February, Randy was busted for public intoxication for allegedly boozing in front of a Baptist church. According to the police report, Randy said he had just gotten into a fight with his girlfriend.

UFC champ Jon "Bones" Jones will not be allowed to drive for the next 6 months ... after a judge REVOKED his license as part of his sentence for drunk driving back in May.

Bones appeared in Binghamton City Court in Upstate New York this morning ... where he was sentenced for the May 19 incident in which he crashed his Bentley into a utility pole around 5:00 AM.

The 25-year-old fighter struck a plea deal with prosecutors ... in which he agreed to plead guilty to DWI and in exchange, he must pay a $1,000 fine, complete a victim impact panel within 90 days, and surrender his driver's license for 6 months.

There's more ... Jones must pay $6,500 in restitution to New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) to fix the utility pole ... AND he's required to have an ignition interlock device installed on his cars.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone was arrested for drunk driving in L.A early this morning ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the 39-year-old was pulled over around 12:30 AM on a routine traffic stop ... when officers suspected Krayzie was boozed up.

We're told the rapper was asked to perform field sobriety tests ... and didn't do too well. In fact, we're told he blew over .10 on the breathalyzer ... well above the legal limit in California, .08.

Cops arrested Krayzie on suspicion of DUI ... and he was booked at a nearby jail. We're told he was cooperative during the bust.

"Big Brother" troublemaker Willie Hantz claims he's no drunk driver ... insisting he was merely sitting in the driver's seat with the car running when he was confronted by police this morning.

A short time after he was released from jail following his drunk driving arrest in Louisiana, the reality star went to his Twitter page to tell his side of the story:

"I wasn't driving. I was sitting in the driver's seat with the car running. I know stupid."

As TMZ first reported ... cops claim Willie tried to flee the scene ... but didn't make it too far before he was captured and arrested in a parking lot around 2AM.

But Hantz is calling BS on the alleged chase ... saying, "I didn't run from anyone. I was just moving my car like the cops asked me to. Then they came up and arrested me."

"If I would have ran then I would have been resisting arrest. I don't know where that came from."

For good measure, Willie posted a photo of himself posing in front of the bail bonds office after he was released from jail (above) ... and offered a final pearl of wisdom about the situation:

"I mean all I can do is laugh it off. Learn from it. Maybe."

Willie called in to BBAD radio last night to further clarify, saying, "I just moved a car in a parking lot because the cop told me to ... when I moved the car, he arrested me ... I felt like I got Punk'd."

Colt Brennan -- a 2007 Heisman Trophy finalist -- was arrested for DUI in Hawaii this morning ... and cops say drugs were involved.

The former University of Hawaii star quarterback -- who later spent a couple of disappointing years in the NFL -- was arrested at 11:50 PM Wednesday.

According to HawaiiNewsNow.com, the 28-year-old was busted for suspicion of drunken driving and promotion of a dangerous drug in the third degree -- aka drug possession.

It is unclear what kind of drug Colt is accused of possessing.

Porn legend Jenna Jameson insists ... she was not under the influence when she slammed her car into a pole back in May -- pleading "not guilty" today to DUI.

TMZ broke the story ... Jameson was arrested after the single-car accident in Orange County May 25th. Cops said she showed signs of intoxication, failed a field sobriety test, and was subsequently busted on suspicion of DUI.

According to law enforcement, Jenna blew a .13 and had two prescription drugs in her system at the time of her arrest -- zolpidem (Ambien) and buprenorphine (Suboxone).

A pretrial hearing has been set for August 16. If convicted, Jenna faces up to a year in jail.

TMZ obtained the 911 call placed right after "Iron Chef" Cat Cora drunkenly crashed into another vehicle -- and according to the caller, "She was driving insane."

The caller -- who Cat rear-ended -- tells the operator, "She's just been very aggressive. Her driving style was aggressive. There was a red light. She was just driving insane."

He adds, "She was wavering around the road ... She's yelling and acting really weird."

As we reported, Cora was arrested for DUI on June 17 in Santa Barbara, CA. According to police, she admitted drinking 3 beers and later blew a .19 on a breathalyzer ... more than twice the legal limit in California.

Cat later apologized for the arrest, saying, “I deeply regret my decision to drive that evening after my designated driver became unavailable."

Jason Kidd took to his twitter account to kind of, sort of apologize for his alleged drunk-driving accident last week in Southhampton, NY.

Kidd was arrested July 15 for DWI after allegedly smashing his SUV into a light pole ... which knocked out the power of the surrounding community for hours.

After pleading not guilty to DWI -- the Knicks point guard addressed the crash publicly for the first time via Twitter yesterday, but made sure not to take responsibility of any kind.

He tweets, "I regret any disruption my accident last weekend may have caused members of the community and want to thank the local authorities ... I’d also like to thank my family and friends for their support."

Kidd sure knows how to beat around the bush. Poles? Not so much.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt has been arrested ... again ... this time for driving under the influence in Kentucky ... TMZ has learned.

The NFL star was taken into custody by the Fort Campbell Police Department at 3:30 AM Tuesday while attempting to drive on to Fort Campbell -- a U.S. Army base located on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee.

We're told Britt was with a soldier at the time of the arrest.

Britt's cherry red 2008 Dodge Challenger was taken to a nearby impound lot (pictured below).

It DEFINITELY ain't Kenny's first brush with the law ... the 23-year-old was busted back in April 2011 for careless driving ... and in June 2011, he was popped in New Jersey for resisting arrest.

A rep for Fort Campbell tells TMZ the incident is "under investigation."
