VICE PRESIDENT JD VANCE PERSON TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AFTER OHIO HOME INCIDENT

7:51 AM PT -- William DeFoor, 26, has been hit with multiple charges -- including obstructing official business, criminal damaging or endangering, criminal trespass, and vandalism -- according to court records.

Vice President Vance reacted to the frightening incident on X, saying that "a crazy person tried to break in by hammering the windows," adding that he and his family are in DC.

Vice President JD Vance had a frightening incident happen overnight at his Ohio home ... and one person is now in custody, TMZ has confirmed.

Anthony Guglielmi, Chief of Communications for the Secret Service, tells TMZ ... "An adult male was taken into custody by the Cincinnati Police Department after being detained by U.S. Secret Service personnel for causing property damage, including breaking windows on the exterior of a personal residence associated with the Vice President."

Guglielmi says the home was unoccupied at the time of the incident, and the Vice President and his family were not in Ohio.

Lenny Dykstra -- a longtime major leaguer best remembered as a member of the 1986 New York Mets -- may be facing drug charges.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Pennsylvania State Police pulled over a car in which Dykstra was a passenger on New Year's Day after they say they saw the driver commit a motor vehicle code violation.

During the traffic stop, officers claim they found Dykstra had "narcotics and narcotic related equipment/paraphernalia." Officers list Dykstra as the "arrestee" on the documents, however his high-powered attorney Matthew Blit says that's not the case.

'Finding Prince Charming' Contestant Jasen Kaplan Dead at 46

Jasen Kaplan -- a contestant on "Finding Prince Charming" and celebrity makeup artist -- has died ... TMZ has confirmed.

Kaplan passed away Wednesday in a New York City hospital, according to Page Six, who reports the NYPD is investigating the death of a 46-year-old man at Kaplan's apartment building.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

Kaplan’s passing marks the second major loss connected to the "Finding Prince Charming" family in less than a month.

As we reported ... Chad Spodick, who made it far during the show’s only season, died by suicide on December 3. TMZ obtained dispatch audio revealing Chad hung himself in a backyard.

Tony McCollister -- the former A&E personality arrested on charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor and sexual conduct with an animal in Ohio -- had his pets confiscated from him, TMZ has learned.

Warren County Sheriff Barry Riley tells TMZ ... the animals were seized from McCollister during the investigation and "are being well cared for." He did not reveal what type of animals McCollister had sexual contact with; however ... WLWT5 reports it was 2 dogs.

As we reported, McCollister was arrested on Tuesday ... but satisfied his $250,000 bail after his court hearing this week. He was ordered to have no contact with any children or pets and is due back in court next Tuesday.

Pat Finn 'The Middle' Actor Dead at 60

Veteran comedic actor Pat Finn -- who starred in sitcoms like "The Middle" and "The George Wendt Show" -- is dead from a cancer battle ... TMZ has confirmed.

Family sources tell us Pat passed away Monday evening at his home in Los Angeles, and he was surrounded by his family.

Pat came up in Hollywood around the same time as his good friend Chris Farley. He and Chris attended Marquette University in 1987, played rugby together there ... and were roommates in Chicago when they both joined the Second City comedy troupe.

"2 Fast 2 Furious" star Devon Aoki is dealing with a major car issue ... but it has nothing directly to do with her or her famous movie.

Here's the deal ... Aoki's husband, James Bailey, was reportedly driving an Audi SQ7 SUV in Coral Gables, Florida Monday around 5:15 PM when he allegedly plowed into a man riding a stand-up scooter, according to an arrest report obtained by TMZ.

The report says the scooter rider was in a crosswalk when he was struck, and Bailey drove away, heading back to his home. WPLG Local 10 obtained video showing the aftermath of the hit-and-run, with the victim pleading with the driver to move the Audi off his foot before falling to the ground in pain.

The lawsuit filed against Diddy, Druski, and Odell Beckham Jr. that attempted to paint them as sexual predators at a party in 2018 has been tossed out ... because the judge ruled none of the defendants ever got served the papers, and the plaintiff couldn't lock down a lawyer to handle the case after her original one dropped out!!!

On Wednesday, a federal judge in California dismissed the case brought by a woman named Ashley Parham, who filed a suit back in October 2024, claiming she had been assaulted by Diddy, Druski, and Odell Beckham Jr. at a party in Orinda, Calif.

The people she went after immediately challenged the claims ... OBJ questioned ever having been to the area, Druski dropped receipts of his empty bank account to prove he wasn't even a celebrity at the time, and Diddy -- who was hit with several similar lawsuits -- also slammed the claims.

Rob & Michele Reiner's Son Nick Missing for Hours After Parents' Murders

Nick Reiner -- the son of Rob and Michele Reiner, who's been arrested on suspicion of murdering them -- was missing for hours after his parents were found with their throats slit inside their Brentwood home ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources say ... after Rob and Michele's daughter Romy found their bodies, she noted to police Nick had been living there and was possibly behind the murders.

When police responded to a call for a death investigation around 3:40 PM Sunday, Nick was nowhere to be found. Romy was the one who called 911 and told police her brother was "dangerous" and should be considered a suspect.

Romy told police Nick was not there when she arrived, insinuating he fled the scene. Police finally located and arrested Nick at approximately 9:15 PM Sunday.

Nick is currently in police custody, held without bail.

1/23/2026 10:49 AM PT -- Trey Songz is now in the clear ... all charges in this case have been dropped, according to court records.

Trey Songz is back in trouble once again, charged over the weekend with allegedly destroying property at a hookah bar in New York City -- and assaulting a nightclub employee earlier this month, according to court records.

The latest incident involving the "Trigga" singer occurred in the wee hours Sunday at Mira NYC & Hookah Lounge in Midtown Manhattan. Court documents state Trey intentionally damaged more than $1500 worth of hookah set-ups, DJ equipment, and sofas.

After his arrest, police did a computer check and realized Trey was wanted for a second crime in which he allegedly assaulted an employee inside Dramma Night Club in Times Square on December 4.

Trey reportedly grew irritated when club workers instructed him and his crew to leave because it was closing time in the Dec. 4 incident. Our sources say one of the employees grabbed Trey's arm, prompting him to allegedly punch the worker in the face and cause him to suffer swelling and substantial pain.

Abraham Quintanilla Jr. Singer Selena's Father Dead at 86

Abraham Isaac Quintanilla Jr., the father of the late Tejano music icon Selena, has died.

His son, A.B. Quintanilla III, shared the shocking news on Instagram Saturday morning, sharing a photo of his dad and writing ... "It’s with a heavy heart to let you guys know that my Dad passed away today."

The cause of death was not immediately shared. The Nueces County Medical Examiner tells TMZ ... they got notification of his death this morning and did not accept jurisdiction, meaning there is no investigation into his death because there is no suspicion of trauma, foul play or something that would raise an alarm about his passing. The body has been released to a funeral home, we're told.

A Los Angeles Whole Foods may need to expand its deli ... because a couple customers had some major beef in the store, which resulted in a brutal brawl caught on video!

The incident went down on Wednesday at the Downtown L.A. location ... and, video kicks off with the fight already in progress -- with two big dudes trying to wrestle each other to the ground.

While security half-heartedly tries to break up the fight, slowly trailing after the pair, one guy throws the other into a tower of pastries ... knocking the mountain of snacks to the ground.

The two men end up on the floor, too ... eventually guards are able to break up the pair, though they have to work hard to keep the guys from launching right back into their unscheduled boxing match.
